The Enemy Whistle

Friday, January 6, 2023

There was an old man in my neighborhood who didn’t want anyone parking in front of his house. When anyone would, he would run outside blowing a whistle yelling at them not to park there. The people were intimidated and would move. It wasn’t true; they were allowed to park there, but because they believed his whistle, they lost their parking spot. He had no right to do that. The enemy is like that man with the whistle. He says you have to stay in that sin, that bondage. You have to live in fear, worry, etc.; not the life God has for you. If we accept that, we miss it, even though he had no right to do that, even though the promise was ours. The enemy is just like the man with the whistle with no legitimate authority; a thief. Stand on the word; call his bluff. Because Messiah said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” That’s the truth. Everything else, my friend, is just a man with a whistle.

From Message #1219 – Stealing the Showbread
Scripture: John 10:27

Today’s Mission – Meditate on the authority of Messiah and take authority over the enemy’s intimidation.

The Forbidden Tree

Thursday, January 5, 2023

There are many books about things that God didn’t reveal in the Bible. Consider Eve eating the fruit of the tree in the Garden of Eden. God gave Adam and Eve every tree to eat from; only one did He forbid. Eve focused on that one outside of God’s will and ate from it. Similarly, David had everything, but He focused on that one outside God’s will–Bathsheba. Human nature has always been seeking life outside of God. We do it too. We tell ourselves that it is of God. Maybe it’s just a little outside His will, but we still want to indulge in it. The truth is, there is nothing outside of Him. It’s all in Him–every revelation, mystery, fullness of deity, true joy that lasts. Everything is in Him. Whatever you thought you wanted that was outside of God’s will is not good. The only good is inside Him. Imagine how much we would have avoided if Adam and Eve stuck with all the trees of the garden instead of focusing on the one. The same with you. Stop focusing on what you don’t have. Rejoice in what you do. Seek everything in Him.

From Message #1584 – The Grass on the Othe Side of the Cherubim
Scripture: John 1:3-5

Today’s Mission – Don’t be deceived by the “green grass on the other side of the fence…” it may contain a sinkhole of misery. Keep your eyes on Messiah and rejoice in your blessings and live!!!

Throwing Jonah

Wednesday, January 4, 2023

We read about Jonah through Jonah’s perspective. But we can learn something more through another’s perspective – the crew. The crew had problems–the boat, the wind, the storm. But their real problem was Jonah. Once they realized that, they threw him overboard; no more problems, just smooth sailing, nice and quiet. But for Jonah, he was swallowed by the fish. For them, their problem was over; they threw it overboard. Similarly, you might be dealing with continual problems in your life. The real problem may not always be the problems that are in front of you, but something deeper. Perhaps not everything in your life is going wrong, but there is something in your life that is not in the Lord’s will…not God’s best. Until you deal with that thing, and throw it overboard, you are not going to solve the other problems. You may already have a notion concerning what it is or you might have to seek for it. But if there IS something, that something is your Jonah. Deal with it, throw it overboard once and for all, and the storm will cease. You will have smooth sailing.

From Message #1216 – The Deciders
Scripture: 1 Peter 5:7

Today’s Mission – Find a quiet place to pray and seek God’s will for your life! Take steps to rid your mind and life of anything that’s against His will! Throw it overboard!

Your bag of Miracles

Tuesday, January 3, 2023

A farmer has a bag of seeds filled with things such as the promise of life and fruitfulness. If the farmer doesn’t put the seed into the soil, it remains like a promise unfulfilled. The Bible is a bag of many seeds. Every seed or word is filled with life and promise; a potential forest of fruitfulness, victory, love, joy, promises of God, miracles, and abundant life. It’s all there, but it’s only unlocked when you take the seed out of the bag. Take the word, the verse, the truth or the promise out of the bag; water it with faith, and apply it to your life. Take it with you into the dirt, the muck, the messiness of real life; your work life, home life, emotional life, your daily life, your thought life. Let it get inside of you. The one who hears the Word and takes it to heart is the good soil who will bear much fruit. Do you have a bag full of promises, blessings, power, and life? It’s all waiting to touch your life. Take it out, apply it to your life and you’ll be blessed 100-fold with blessings of power and life.

From Message #1074 – The Imperishable Seed
Scripture: Isaiah 55:10-11

Today’s Mission – Take a word from the word of God – a seed. Apply it throughout the day to the soil of your life.

The Choice of Your Shannah

Monday, January 2, 2023

The word in Hebrew for year is Shannah. But the word Shannah comes from the Hebrew for the number two. And the word year in Hebrew means “the second time, the repetition, the repeat” – for each year is like a repeat of the year before. We often live our lives just this way; we continue to do the same things: the same mistakes, the same stumblings, the same fears. It’s just a Shannah – a repetition of what went before. But the word Shannah also means “new, the second, the second chance.” So each Shannah, each year, is given to give us a chance for newness in our life. A new beginning to do the things we never do but should, to make the changes we know we should. It’s up to you to choose which one it will be. In the power of God, He wants this Shannah to be something new and different, for “brand new” things, for overcoming and for victory. For in the new birth, all things will become new for you – but you need courage to break out of the repetition and into the newness of life.

From Message #433 – The Shannah
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Today’s Mission – Do something new today – take a new course – a new action – step out in faith – break the routine – do something unexpected of the old you – but part of the new you God has called you to become.

The Open Yad

Friday, December 30, 2022

The word for worship or thanksgiving in Hebrew is yad or yadah, which means the open hand. A worshipful person is someone with an open hand, a hand that gives. It’s an open hand, an open heart, an open spirit that worships God. An open hand not only gives, but receives. The hand that doesn’t give, isn’t going to receive either. If you are born again, you are spiritually Jewish; your life should be characterized by thanksgiving, because the word also comes from Yahudah, Jew. The word Jew means one who gives thanks with an open hand, with praise. When you give thanks to God, you don’t have anxiety or worry. You can’t be worried and give thanks at the same time. To live a life that worships God, you have to have an open spirit, an open heart, an abundant life. The more you give, the more you let go. The one who has an open hand to give blessings, is one who has an open hand to receive them; the one who has learned the secret of the open yad, the open hand.

From Message #1209 – Fearless
Scripture: Psalm 92:1-2

Today’s Mission – Live an open-handed life today. Open to be generous, open to give, open to help, open to let go, and open to receive new blessings from God.

The Church’s Olive Harvest

Thursday, December 29, 2022

The harvest at the end of the Hebrew year speaks of the end of the age. The autumn harvest speaks about the end times, when the crushing of grapes happens – a symbol of judgment. The fig tree harvest is about Israel. Israel is the fig tree. There’s one more major harvest, the olive harvest, when Israel comes in at the end. Romans says that, if you’re born again, you are of the olive tree of Israel. The olive harvest came into fullness at the end of the year. At the end of the age, it’s going to be the fullness of the harvest of the church, as the commonwealth of Israel. The believers come back to their Jewish roots in the Lord, and salvation spreads through the earth as in the beginning. The church is Jewish; everyone who is born again is a child of Abraham. You are a child of Abraham, a royal priest, a citizen of Israel. Get into the deep roots of the olive tree because you are of the olive tree of Israel. For the end times, which are now, is the time of the olive harvest.

From Message #1208 – The Sukkot Mystery Finale
Scripture: Matthew 9:37-38

Today’s Mission – As a grafted-in citizen of Israel and part of the end time harvest allow God to shine through you today, that others would be saved and brought into this harvest.

The Rain Revelation

Wednesday, December 28, 2022

The Bible speaks about rain; geshem in Hebrew. Rain comes down as that’s the flow of life. It comes from heaven to earth. The earth looks okay for a while, but without rain, heaven’s blessing, it will dry up. Drought occurs; there’s no more life. In the same way, it seems like we can go a while without coming to God. Things might seem okay, but it won’t last. Without God, your earthly life will dry up. Without prayer life, without communion with God, it’s like earth without rain; your whole life will become dry. The world might fill us up for a while, but in the end it’ll become like a desert. It doesn’t matter what you have; money without God dries up. The same with earthly love. Marriage without God dries up, even your ministry, sexuality. Anything, without God dries up. Seek the Lord. Turn your heart, your mind and your strength back to heaven. Receive the waters of the Spirit. He will make your life and your walk come alive again as never before, because without prayer, without Him, it’s like earth without heaven.

From Message #1207 – Rain
Scripture: Psalm 68:34-35

Today’s Mission – Set aside time today to spend with the Lord. Spend good time in the rain! Be refreshed.

The Glory and The Details

Tuesday, December 27, 2022

A movie had a famous line that said, “If you build it, they will come.” And there’s something biblical about this. In the Bible, God told His people to build the Tabernacle. He gave exact instructions. So they built it exactly as God said. Then He came; the glory of God came. In the Book of Kings, they built the Temple according to exact instructions, and the glory of God came and so filled the Temple that they had to get out. Ezekiel also describes how the temple was built to exact specifications and then speaks about the glory of God coming. When the disciples obeyed the Lord’s instructions to tarry in Jerusalem, the glory came as a rushing mighty wind. If God’s people hadn’t done it the way God said, the glory wouldn’t have come. He wouldn’t have come. The point is this: obey God and do exactly what He says. Follow God to the best of your ability, mind, heart and strength, and He will come. The blessings will come, the victory will come, the Spirit will come, and the glory will come. If you do exactly what He says, He will come.

From Message #1272 – Preparing For The Glory
Scripture: 2 Chronicles 20:20

Today’s Mission – What is it in your life that is not according to God’s Word, His exact will and instructions? Get that part of your life into the exact will of God. Then wait for the Glory!

The Gospel Beginning

Monday, December 26, 2022

The gospel of Mark begins in this way: “The beginning of the gospel of Yeshua Ha-Mashiach, the gospel of Jesus the Christ, the Messiah. What a fascinating phrase, ‘the beginning of the gospel.’ Now one might expect at the end to see the phrase ‘the end of the gospel,’ but it’s not there. The gospel has the beginning, but no end. This is because the gospel begins but never ends. Its nature is to keep going, never to end. There is no end to God’s blessing, and no end to the good news of salvation and redemption. What we do ends, but the work of God never ends. There is enough good news to last a lifetime, an eternity. Do you feel as if there is a scarcity of good news in your life? Do you see problems at every turn? The real problem may be that you are not receiving the good news. At any moment in your life, the good news can begin again and again and again and again. So whatever you are feeling or going through, look once more to the good news that begins in your life, but never ends.

From Message #1978 -Endless
Scripture: Romans 1:16

Today’s Mission – Let the Gospel, the Good News, begin in you continuously. Even in the midst of problems and bad news – that’s the time for the Good News to begin!

The Age Changer

Friday, December 23, 2022

Imagine someone was born today and because of his birth, every calendar would be changed; all dates of history would be rewritten. Everything afterwards would be dated in relation to this birth. Events beforehand dated in relation to how far it was before his birth. Yes, it happened; a child was born in an obscure village, in a manger with no one seeing but animals and a few shepherds. In the midst of deep obscurity, this event changed all the world’s calendars. How could this happen? It couldn’t, unless this life was the life of the Son of God, Messiah, Yeshua. How awesome is His life and what a difference His coming makes. It changes everything from BC to AD. What about your life? If Messiah’s coming so revolutionizes world history, how much more must it be for your life? Are you living a revolutionary life? Are you living an AD life? Is that AD life and power so revolutionary that it makes everything before it BC? He has come and that changes everything. Be a revolutionary. Walk in His power and make everything else BC, for He has come.

From Message #1790 – BC/AD
Scripture: Galatians 4:4

Today’s Mission – Today stand in the power of A.D. Turn away from every trace of B.C. in your life – and live in the new, A.D., you.

The One Behind The Wall

Thursday, December 22, 2022

In the Song of Solomon, the beloved says, “My lover is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look, there he stands behind our wall.” The word in Hebrew is kotel. Today in Israel the holiest place is called the Kotel or the Western Wall. It’s where Jewish people go to pray. So the holiest site in Judaism is a wall. It’s significant. For the Jewish people have had a wall between them and their Messiah. But here’s the good news. It says our beloved is behind the wall. Right behind that wall is the Lord. Messiah is waiting with open arms for His people, right behind that wall. Yeshua, my beloved, is behind the wall. Do you feel there is a wall between you and God? Maybe your sins and your problems keep you separated. But your Beloved is right there, right behind the wall, waiting with His arms open. Whatever the wall is, don’t fear. Don’t worry, just break through because He is waiting. Your Beloved is right behind the wall.

From Message #1205 – Israel’s Yom Kippur Finale
Scripture: Jude 20-21

Today’s Mission – What wall do you have in your life? Look by faith, right behind your wall to see Messiah, and walk through it to Him.

Returning to David

Wednesday, December 21, 2022

In Hosea it says, “The children of Israel will abide many days without a king or prince, without sacred stone or sacrifice, ephod or idols. Afterward, the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their King. They will come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.” The Bible says in the last days the Jewish people will return to the Lord and to David, their King. David was dead 3,000 years before that, so why is David there? David is a way of saying the Son of David, Messiah. In the end times, the Jewish people will return to the Lord, to Messiah. That means they have left their Messiah. There’s only one that they left, Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah. When the Jewish people come back to Israel, when Israel is a nation again, know you are living in the last days. It’s the time for the Jewish people to return to their Messiah, Jesus. So pray for them. Keep praying. Keep sharing. Keep blessing because the days are near when they shall come back to David, Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus their King.

From Message #1204 – The Three End-Time Teshuvas
Scripture: Matthew 22:42

Today’s Mission – In your prayer time today, pray for all Jewish people around the world that they would see the truth of Jesus as their Messiah. Ask God to prepare their hearts for His return.

Living In Yerushalayim

Tuesday, December 20, 2022

Jerusalem is an amazing word. In Hebrew, the word is Yerushalayim, which doesn’t mean Jerusalem, but Jerusalems. It’s plural. But the Hebrew word doesn’t just mean plural, it means two. Yerushalayim means there are always two Jerusalems. The Jerusalem here on earth now is imperfect. There is also a heavenly Jerusalem which is perfect, but is yet to come. To those who are born again, the Bible says you are born of Jerusalem-of Yerushalayim. So we are to live in both Jerusalems now. The key is to live now in what is yet to come. Live in the perfect, finished work and victory of God now-before you see it! Live in the answered prayer before it manifests. Live in the freedom of Messiah before you see it. Rejoice in your blessings before they come. Rejoice in the kingdom that is now in Messiah. Live in he victory that He has already accomplished. It is a finished work. Live in what is not yet as if it were. Rejoice in what is to come as if it is now. Celebrate what shall be in faith, and you will have the blessings of Yerushalayim.

From Message #1134 – The Heavenly Feast
Scripture: Galatians 4:25-26

Today’s Mission – Today, learn the secret of living in the perfected work of God. Give thanks before you receive. Be victorious before you see the victory.

The Only Voice Left

Monday, December 19, 2022

A woman, caught in adultery, is surrounded by people whornwant to stone her to death. Just imagine being her. She’s hearing voices of condemnation, rejection, accusation and hatred. Then Messiah comes and says, “Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone.” And an amazing thing happens… they all leave. The only one left is her and Messiah. He asks, “Woman where are your accusers?” “They are not here,” she answers. So He says, “Neither do I accuse you, go and sin no more.” This is a beautiful picture of all of us. Often we hear so many voices: voices of rejection, criticism, accusation, doubt, jealousy, discouragement, and hatred. We also hear voices of flattery and praise. We can spend our lives listening to these voices and worrying about what they think. Or we can stop wasting our lives dwelling on those voices and listen for the one and only voice that matters. His is the voice that will be heard in the end. So listen for His voice and obey Him, so that you may hear Him say one day, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”

From Message #1133 – Him
Scripture: John 10:4-5

Today’s Mission – Pay no mind to the voices. Open your ears to the only one Voice that matters. Listen for and obey your Master’s voice. His is the only one that will matter in the end!

The Closest Generation

Friday, December 16, 2022

We are living in the last days, living in light of His coming. We are closer to the Lord’s coming than any other generation of believers in history. The Lord is coming to reign as King and to judge the earth. If a Judge was coming to your house, you’d want to make sure that it was clean and in order. If the Judge’s arrival were a long way off, you might be lax. But the closer the Judge’s arrival, the more alert you would be. Since we are the generation chosen to be closer to the Judge’s coming than any other, we need to be even more holy, sanctified and sober. Do you have things in your life that need working on? Everyone does. Just lift those things up to God and let His light come into every part of your life so nothing is in darkness. Be transparent and hide nothing. Keep nothing that you are ashamed of. The King is coming. The Judge is coming. So live in a manner worthy of Him, ready for Him. He is the Bridegroom, and He is coming for a spotless bride.

From Message #1130 – The Sound Of The King
Scripture: 2 Peter 3: 11-14

Today’s Mission – Open up, make a clean sweep of your heart and cast away anything not worthy of the King. Be in constant readiness to receive Him. He comes!

The Blessing of Looking up

Thursday, December 15, 2022

Acts 7 speaks of the Sanhedrin who surrounded the disciple Stephen. They were furious and were about to stone him to death. But the Bible says that Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw glory. Just imagine this scene. You’re surrounded by a murderous mob, your life is at stake, yet you are looking, not at them, but at the glory of God. How was Stephen able to do it? It was because he was filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s the same power the Spirit gives you-the power to look up no matter what else is going on. It’s so easy and tempting to dwell on problems when you’re in the midst of them. But you’ll never solve your problem by dwelling on it. Instead look up! The Spirit of God gives you power to look up because far more is happening above your problem than is happening around it. God is happening above it! So be a person like Stephen. Lift your eyes off the problem and look above it. Look to Him in all things and you too will see and shine with His glory.

From Message #1129 A Guide for the Spirit-Filled
Scripture: Psalm 34:5

Today’s Mission – Don’t look at the size of your problem and don’t be overwhelmed. Instead, seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Look up for the battle is the Lord’s, not yours.

The Holy Wilderness

Wednesday, December 14, 2022

We don’t generally like the wilderness or get excited about being there. We tend to get down about it, but we should get excited! For God’s people, the wilderness is never a detour. For Israel, it was the path out of Egypt, the path into blessing, freedom. God brought them into the wilderness to meet Him. That’s where they had the tent of meeting set up. We can’t wait to get out of the wilderness, to get on with God’s will. You don’t have to wait. God’s with you in the wilderness waiting to meet you. He’ll lead you as much as He leads you any other time. Every time something is taken away from you in your life, take it as an opportunity that you’re going to get more of God, closer to God. There are no detours in God’s will. If you’re in the wilderness, praise God! God is there. Turn away from the situation, and He’ll meet you. The wilderness is holy. It’s the chosen place, His meeting place, where His people stand barefoot in the glory of His presence. Treasure God in the wilderness.

From Message #1128 – Out of the Wilderness
Scripture: Psalm 136:16

Today’s Mission – Let every problem or loss or sorrow in your life becomerna sacred wilderness, in which you can enter to find God’s presence. Let every problem or loss or sorrow in your life becomerna sacred wilderness, in which you can enter to find God’s presence.

The Joy of the Nonexistent Harvest

Tuesday, December 13, 2022

During the Feast of Tabernacles, Jewish people rejoiced and gave thanks to God for the harvest He gave to them – the olive oil, wine, figs, dates, grain – everything. They’d gather in Jerusalem with palm branches, Hosannas, and all sorts of fruits that the Promised Land produced that year. What’s strange is that for two thousand years in exile from their land, Jewish people continued to celebrate their Harvest Feast, giving thanks for a harvest that didn’t exist. Every year on Sukkot, they’d wave palm branches, cry Hosanna, thank God for fruit they never saw, a harvest they never reaped, and blessings they never received. Seems crazy – but it’s not. After two thousand years of celebrating a nonexistent harvest, Jewish people were brought back to their land to again reap a harvest, to celebrate. That’s the way of joy and triumph in God. Celebrate the non- existent harvest. Praise God no matter what the conditions and you’ll triumph. For we haven’t only been blessed to receive unconditional love, but also unconditional joy.

From Message #1976 – The Mystery Days Of Zion I
Scripture: Psalm 34:1

Today’s Mission – Today, celebrate your victories and blessings in Messiah even before you see them. Praise Him the way through your harvest cycle today.

The Joy of Autumn

Monday, December 12, 2022

Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, was the greatest feast in Biblical times. Sukkot took place not in the beginning, but at the end of the Hebrew year – not in spring, but in the autumn. In the world, the party of youth, beauty, health, ability and power is at the beginning of life. In the autumn of life there’s less celebrating because all those things only go downhill. In God, it’s the opposite. The biggest celebration comes at the end, in autumn. God saves the best for last. The things of the world always get worse and old and dry and fade away, but the things of God always get better. The peace of God as you move on, gets more peaceful. The life of God, the more you go on with it, becomes even more alive. The joy of God, becomes more joyful, the fullness of God, becomes more full. So throw away that worldly pursuit. Pursue God and keep going even when it’s tough, because God always saves the best for last. In God, it only gets better, and with God, the party comes in autumn.

From Message #565 – The Last Joy
Scripture: Psalm 37:37

Today’s Mission – Get into the joy of pursuing God with all your heart and mind, forget the temporary distractions this life.

Unclouding The Glory

Friday, December 9, 2022

Anan Ha Ketoret, the Cloud of Incense, appeared on the holiest day of the year – Yom Kippur. In ancient times, the High Priest of Israel was allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies once a year, but he had to do it with the incense. The glory of God was too much to behold, so the High Priest had to cloud it up with the incense. The New Covenant has no Cloud of Incense, just the glory. We as New Covenant believers, tend to make our own cloud of incense because we’re afraid of the glory. We, cloud up the word with compromise. We blur the lines of what God said. “Did God really say that? Well it’s not for today, or for me.” What we’re doing is forming a cloud. The problem with the cloud is that as long as you live in it, you’ll never see the glory of God or know the glory of the glorious life He has for you. Be done with compromise. Take God at His word. Go all out with it. Then you’ll live a glorious life… with no clouds in sight.

From Message #614 – The Incense and the Glory
Scripture: Psalm 119:105

Today’s Mission – Let nothing get in the way of God’s intended glory for your life.. Take His Word for you full strength.

The Arrival of The Goat

Thursday, December 8, 2022

On Yom Kippur the High Priest of Israel would stand in the courts of the Lord with two goats. He drew two lots, one for each goat. One lot read, “TO THE WILDERNESS.” That goat became the “Scapegoat.” The other lot read, “TO THE LORD.” This goat was offered as the Yom Kippur sacrifice. The Scapegoat was going somewhere. The Sacrifice Goat didn’t look like it was going anywhere. It looked like they were losing a goat, a non-profit write off, a loss. But the goat’s name was “TO THE LORD.” In a sense, the goat was arriving in the Lord’s presence. When we sacrifice something for the Lord, we tend to think of it as a loss, but it isn’t gone. It’s “TO THE LORD.” It’s leaving, but it’s arriving in Heaven. It’s really a gain, found in the hands of God. When you give a gift to someone, you don’t cry that you lost money. You rejoice in their joy of receiving it. Give your gift to the Lord with joy, offer your sacrifice with thanksgiving, for only what’s given to the Lord… can never be lost.

From Message #992 – Ban the Goat
Scripture: Acts 20:35

Today’s Mission – Learn to give to the Lord freely and rejoice in that giving. Store up heavenly treasures and be the source of someone’s blessing.

Your Sword Against The Dragon

Wednesday, December 7, 2022

In the beginning, God said, let there be light and there was life. All that came into existence, everything we know comes by the Word. A dragon, the enemy, wants to erase the Word of life by erasing the Word of God. In the garden, he made them doubt God. It’s a war with the word of the dragon against the Word of God. The dragon speaks words of destruction to tear down and destroy. Sometimes we can hear it, other times it’s whispered in our minds, thoughts, or something conveyed in life. We’re to not only have nothing to do with the dragon’s mouth, but we have to oppose the words of the dragon with the Word of God. Fight the good fight of faith. When you have that thought of gloom, despair, or temptation, take out the Word of God and fight that sin. Because, unlike legends where the dragons are slain by swords of steel, we fight the dragon with the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit. By that you’ll overcome and you’ll shut the dragon’s mouth.

From Message #1126 – The Dragon Slayers
Scripture: Revelation 12:11

Today’s Mission – Fight the good fight today.rnAnswer every attack the enemy, everyrnthing; by standingrnproclaiming the Word of God.

The Unmixed

Tuesday, December 6, 2022

Messiah told us to be as gentle as doves. The word in Greek for gentle is really interesting. It’s akeraois, which means unmixed. Pure as a dove. Not mixed, not complicated, not adulterated, pure heart, pure motives. What it’s saying is that we need to be un-compromised, un-back and forth, un-double minded; it means pure and pure means one, one heart, with no ulterior motives. When you pray it’s 100%. When you talk it’s 100%. You mean what you say and you say what you mean. The blessings in God come in being unmixed. When you are unmixed, you’re clear, not wasting half your time going in the other direction. You’re not in conflict with yourself. Only then can the blessings flow when you’re unmixed, free, unhindered, uncomplicated. Set your heart on becoming unmixed. Put away that thing that mixes you up. Put away anything that’s not of God, not right. Become pure, whole, total, one. Become 100%. Whatever you do, do with your whole heart, a total person. Become like a dove, unmixed.

From Message #1124 – Serpents And Doves
Scripture: Matthew 10:16

Today’s Mission – Do whatever it takes today to uncomplicate your walk with God. Stay single minded with one purpose, to servernand love Him with a pure heart.

The Incense Offering

Monday, December 5, 2022

There are a lots of sacrifices and offerings in the temple of Jerusalem, but not all offerings had blood. There was one that’s called in Hebrew, Levan. Levan was white powder – frankincense. It was offered at the veil of the Holy of Holies. It went completely up in one smooth sacrifice, nothing left of it, completely taken up in a cloud to God. That’s it. We are a sweet fragrance, an aroma of Messiah. That’s the fragrance of the incense offering. The only way to offer incense is that it has to be offered completely. We have to offer up our lives completely. You can only find the purpose of your life when you offer it up, not hold on to it. You can only have what you give. You can only become what you give. You can only have love when you give love. That’s what it’s about. Give your life freely to God. Whatever you give for God is what you have forever. Give all and your life will become an offering, a holy offering of incense before the Holy of Holies, a sweet fragrance of Messiah.

From Message #1121 – Mattanah And The Kitoret
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7

Today’s Mission – Give your whole heart to God completely to be used for His purposes. Hold nothing back today as He touches and blesses His plans for you.

The Feast of Trumpets Prophecy

Friday, December 2, 2022

The seventh month of the Sacred Hebrew year is Tishri – the season of Teshuvah, which means repentance, return. It’s marked by the sounding of the shofar, the Biblical trumpet. Israel’s repentance comes at the end of the year. God set up this present age after the pattern of the Hebrew year. Jewish people will come to Messiah at the end of the age. The Book of Revelation is filled with trumpets – the sign of the end and of the return of Israel. We’re the generation to live at the end of the age in the days of Teshuvah. The shofar of Messiah will call the children of Israel to return to what they had left at the beginning of the age. It means that at the end of the age, the Jewish people must return. The Days of Return, Teshuvah, Repentance, only come at the end of the Sacred Year. If the Age is set up as the Sacred Year, it means the Jewish people will return to God. But they will only return – at the END of the AGE. At the time of the trumpets.

From Message #1273 – The Days Of Return
Scripture: Romans 11:25

Today’s Mission – Pray for the Jewish people, for their salvation – and be a part of those ministries that are ministering to them.

THE VANISHING CHRISTIANS

Thursday, December 1, 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…

Recently, a Pew Research Center poll revealed that the number of Americans identifying as Christian had been precipitously dropping. If this trend continued, by the late 21st century the percentage of Americans identifying as Christian could go as low as 35%.

Up to the 1990s, America, unlike Europe, seemed immune to the de-Christianization of its population. Up to that time, the percentage of Americans identifying as Christian held at over 90%, but then, the numbers of those identifying as Christian plummeted to 64% in 2020. At the same time, the percentage of those identifying as non-Christian or anti-Christian skyrocketed. If the present trends continue, then later in the 21st century, this segment may represent over one half of the American population.

What would such changes bring about? The de-Christianization of America. The days of seeing America as a “Christian nation” will be long gone. If the majority defines a nation, then America will be known as a non-Christian or anti-Christian nation. There will be less tolerance for Christianity, less room for religious freedom, and increasingly accommodation to all that is anti-Christian, and anti-God.

All these things are actually biblical in one sense. The Bible foretold a great apostasy or falling away in the last days – “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” and also the coming of one called “the antichrist.” The present trends will herald His coming.

Of course, things don’t have to go this way. There can always be surprises and revival. But things are heading this way in almost every realm of culture. If America could turn against the ways of God and believers when the majority of its population claimed to be Christian, then what will happen when the majority claim not to be Christian or anti-Christian? Then persecution will come.

At the same time, there is a redeeming aspect to all of this. The number of true born again believers is likely no more than 33% at most. Thus, the decrease may largely be a matter of grays disappearing, and what remains of American Christianity will likely be more real, more radical, more revolutionary, and more like the Book of Acts.

In the end, only the real will stand – including real believers. If the culture is darkening, then it’s time to all the more shine the light. And if the grays are disappearing from our culture – then it’s time to make the grays disappear from our lives. It’s time to get radical, real, bold, and courageous. Set your course this month for living as a believer from the Book of Acts and may God greatly bless you as you do!

Your brother and co laborer

in His love and services,

Jonathan

The Foundation Act

Wednesday, November 30, 2022

The first act of the American Government took place in 1789. President Washington, the House of Representatives, and the Senate, were together for the inauguration of the President. After he made his speech, they all proceeded to a church, went inside, prayed and committed America into God’s hands. The first initial act of the American Government was to pray. That same day, Washington gave a warning that if America departed from God, it would lose the blessings and favor of God. Pray for America. It’s easy for a nation to forget its foundation when prayer is often banned. When we talk about the nation and say, how America has gone away from its roots – what about you? Have you gone away from your first love, prayer, the Word, your foundation? It’s easy to do so. Get back to your foundation, because everything else in your life will only be as good and strong as your foundation on which it rests. Like America, get back to your foundation in God, for that’s where your blessing is.

From Message #1120 – The Mystery Ground
Scripture: Revelation 2:4

Today’s Mission – Dedicate this day to God and His will for you today before you do anything else. Set a goodrnsolid foundation and build on it.

Looking Where You’re Going

Tuesday, November 29, 2022

When I was 12 years old, I was in summer camp and wanted to impress the girls. I was waving to one of the girls, walking away and kind of looking back at her, smiling, waving again, walking away, turning back. It looked really cool until I walked straight into a tree. I must have looked very pathetic. The simple, but profound truth is you can’t walk ahead if you’re looking behind. If you’re dwelling on what happened in your past, what people did to you, you’re not going to move ahead in the Lord in your life. If you’re turning around to see if the enemy is following you, you’re not going to be following the Lord. Stop looking behind you. Paul said, this one thing I do, forgetting what is behind, I press on, looking forward to what is ahead. This I do, fixing my eyes on Him. Keep your eyes ahead of you, fixed on the One you’re walking to. Run the race with endurance, fixing your eyes on the greater things God has for you and you’ll do fine. Otherwise you’ll find yourself crashing into trees.

From Message #1116 – You’re Being Followed
Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14
Today’s Mission – Stop looking at your past life and instead focus your sights on where you are going. Keep pressing on completing God’s calling for you today.

The Zacchaeus Key

Monday, November 28, 2022

It’s one of the first lessons we learn in life–you make a mess, you clean it up. We tend to forget that, but it’s still a lesson we need as adults. When Zacchaeus came to salvation, he didn’t say, praise God I am saved– I ripped off people and it doesn’t matter because I am saved. No, he said, “I’m going back because I sinned against others, I’m going to make it right. If I have wronged them, I’m going to pay back four times.” Grace isn’t to make you irresponsible, it’s to make you responsible to the Lord and to others. The sign of an adult is to fix, redeem. Did you make a mess in your life, hurt someone, gossip? Go back and clean it up. Make good and lift up that person. Do you have enemies? Do good, bless them. God will bless you. Until you clean them up, in some way you’ll be living it. Whatever good you can do, do it. God will bless you. If you made a mess, clean it up. It’s that simple.

From Message #1122 – Lessons of the Little Children
Scripture: Matthew 5:44

Today’s Mission – Make amends with anyone you have wronged inrnany way before you enter into the Lord’s presence today. Keep a clean slate and walk humbly before God.

The Four Seasons Of Joy

Friday, November 25, 2022

Thanksgiving comes from a Hebrew feast called Khag or Festival. In Deuteronomy 1:6, Moses commanded Israel “Three times a year shall all males appear before the Lord thy God in the place that he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty handed.” The Jewish people were to celebrate the feast of Unleavened Bread in the Spring, the feast of Shavuot or Pentecost in the early summer and the feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles in the autumn. Later God gave the feast of winter called Chanukah. How did they rejoice in every season? In every season they give thanks to God for His blessings. Learn the lessons from God’s festival. These are God’s rest days. If you’re a child of God, your life must be characterized with rejoicing. Rejoice in season and out of season. Learn the lesson of the Jewish festivals; give thanks to God in all seasons of your life and live a life of celebration.

From Message #1135
Scripture: Philippians 4:4

Today’s Mission – The Moedeem and the Mystery of Your LifeSeek out the joy in all you do today. Celebrate every blessing with true thanksgiving to the One who rejoices over you.

To Have And Have Not

Thursday, November 24, 2022

Thanksgiving comes from the feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles. The Hebrews were commanded by Moses to leave their houses and dwell in small tents called Sukkahs. On the 15th day of the 7th month they were to celebrate the Hebrew feast of Thanksgiving. Living in these tents or huts was not comfortable, but God uses this act of obedience to show how blessed they were in their houses in the Promised Land. Their houses, the fruit of the land, was a gift from God and should not be taken for granted. In order to have something, you have to lose it. Imagine if you lost your health or your closest friends, your family, your dreams, every blessing. These things are all gifts from God and can’t be taken for granted; and should not be taken lightly. Learn from this act of the Hebrews – for all good gifts cometh from God. The next breath that you breathe comes from God. Don’t you think that’s a blessing that should be celebrated? Stop taking God’s gifts for granted, thank Him today and every day. Your life will become a celebration.

From Message #1070 – The Third Practice
Scripture: Leviticus 23:39-43

Today’s Mission – Give thanks to the Lord in all His goodness. Take nothing for granted. Count all your blessings – as gifts given by God.

The Calah Identity

Wednesday, November 23, 2022

In the ancient Hebrew marriage, the bridegroom comes to the house of the bride and proposes marriage. If the woman accepts, she’s now the bride, the Calah. The two are separated for about a year. The Calah still lives at her house, but she’s no longer of it; she’s of the bridegroom now. Everything looks the same, but is now different because she belongs to the bridegroom. She’s not bound by the old house anymore. That’s where you are right now. Messiah came to this world, to your life to propose, and you said yes. You’re now the Calah. The wedding day is coming, but you’re still in the old house. The old circumstances may look the same, but you’re not of it. You belong to the new life; the bridegroom. You’re free from your circumstance, problem, past, your sin. Stop living by what is around you. Remember who you are and whose you are. Live for the Bridegroom. The more betrothed you live, the freer you will be from this world. For the Calah is not bound by the house.

From Message #1110 – The Gift Of The Calah
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Today’s Mission – Live as the Calah today. You are no longer of this world, or your circumstance, or your past. Break free of these things.

Real Saints

Tuesday, November 22, 2022

The difference between actors and real people is that actors are following the script. Real people don’t follow a script. They do it from their heart. If you’re just doing good because you have to, you’re following the script, trying to conform to a law. That’s the Old Covenant. Jeremiah says that I will write the Law in their heart. In the New Covenant, it will come from the inside. Not doing things because you have to, but because you have love. It’s coming from you because it’s coming from God in you. God calls us not to act like children of God, He calls us to BE children of God. He doesn’t want you to play the part of a Saint, He wants you to BE a real Saint by living in His Spirit. Get beyond the requirements of the Law. Get into the heart of God. Seek with every ounce of your being to make His will your will, His love your love, because God didn’t call you to act the part. He called you to be a real person, a real Saint, a real child of God.

From Message #752 – To Become a Saint
Scripture: Matthew 5:8

Today’s Mission – Don’t simply act right today, be right. Do what is right from your heart. Love from your deepest part.

Holy Rebellion

Monday, November 21, 2022

How often we used to rebel as kids. I rebelled as a little kid. I rebelled in school, life, against authority. Generally, rebellion isn’t a good thing, especially when it’s against God. Yet it can be good in one sense. Jonah arose and fled, rebelling against God’s will. Finally he repented when he arose and went. The same way he went away from God, now he’s serving God. The way he rebelled, now he’s serving the Lord. There’s a way to be a holy rebel. The way we used to rebel against good, now we need to rebel against what’s evil. The enemy gives us commands and is always issuing things like you have to submit, sin, fear, depression, fall into this bondage. You have to rebel against that. Rebel against sin. Rebel against the darkness. Rebel against all the orders of sin and habit. You can rebel against all the orders of the old life and the flesh. You don’t have to obey the voice of sin, flesh, darkness, or the enemy anymore. Be a Holy Spirit rebel. Obey God, but be a rebel to the enemy.

From Message #1109 – Thou Wilt
Scripture: Acts 5:29

Today’s Mission – Stand firm against the enemy. Rebel against that temptation. Break the law that sin.

The Light of The Prison Cell

Friday, November 18, 2022

Messiah said, “Don’t be afraid, there’s nothing concealed that won’t be revealed, there’s nothing hidden that won’t be made known.” I knew a man who was imprisoned for years because of his faith. He was alone, interrogated, tortured, even rumored that he was dead. Nobody knew what he went through except the Lord. He was finally released years later and then began a powerful ministry to the persecuted believers of the world. When communism fell, his prison cell was taken, including the books he wrote and made into a museum. People came to see what had come out from a dark prison cell and had now become a testimony of God’s love, faith and hope. Be encouraged, be faithful, no matter how dark the situation you are going through. You are never alone. All the angels are rooting for you. Praise God and give Him the glory no matter what. Don’t give up. Fight the good fight. In the end, that prison cell, everything you are going through is going to turn into a place of glory. Wherever God is, heaven is, and there is His glory also.

From Message #1105 – Closets And Rooftops
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 3:7

Today’s Mission – Be encouraged. Stand strong. No matter what the darkness, the light will be revealed.

The X-Power

Thursday, November 17, 2022

It’s clear to historians that Yeshua was crucified on the Passover weekend 2,000 years ago. The Sanhedrin established laws of the land for they were the ones in charge. When Yeshua was crucified, His enemies had all the power, yet His disciples had no power. Not too long after Christ’s crucifixion, the Sanhedrin began saying that His disciples took Messiah’s body. Suddenly, the Sanhedrin said they didn’t have any power and claimed that the disciples themselves wrestled power from them. So what happened? Why did this crucifixion overcome the Sanhedrin, the Roman Empire and the world? It was because of the X-power. It’s not about the disciples, it’s about Messiah. In your life, you look at your situation and it may feel overwhelming. But it’s the X-power that makes all the difference. So you can say, “I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.” The power of Messiah overcame Rome, hell and the world. So my friend, be strong and trust in Him, because in Him you have the X-power.

From Message #1100 – The First Charge
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:18

Today’s Mission – Live today by the power of X, the cross. Overcome every problem, and the world.

The Fourth Kingdom and Frankenstein

Wednesday, November 16, 2022

The Book of Daniel speaks of world history and the end of the age. It talks about four creatures, world civilizations and the last of the end-time civilizations. In Hebrew, the word used is shenna, which means diverse, changed, altered, different or it can be taken as unnatural. The other creatures are made up of animal parts or animals. The fourth one is not. It is of iron and nails and bronze and it’s beaming. This is a profound revelation of end-time culture. It will be a shenna culture, an altered or unnatural culture. Man has set himself as a creator, remaking nature, altered unnatural immorality, unnatural in sexuality and gender, warring against everything that is natural: family, manhood, womanhood, childhood, fatherhood, motherhood. We are living in an unnatural kingdom, day and age. We must be an example of what is natural, what is pure, and godly. Let our lives testify of our God, our Lord the Creator, and the One who we must glorify in everything.

From Message #1104 – The Iron Creature
Scripture: Romans 1:29

Today’s Mission – Be the salt and light to the world; set yourself apart as a holy example for others to see the true Maker of this world.

Sozo

Tuesday, November 15, 2022

The Lord was correcting His disciples. They were ready to call judgment on sinners, but He said no; I have come to save. It is also the ministry of His disciples. If you are His disciple, you are here not to pronounce judgment on people, but to save people’s lives. The key word here is “sozo”- to save. It is to save, to protect, lead, deliver, and preserve, to make them well and whole. Messiah is the ministry of sozo. So you also have the ministry of sozo. We are not to avoid people, nor hold a grudge against them. Don’t be afraid of them, nor speak against them. Don’t fight them, or make them say you are right, but make them whole; to save them. Are you doing that? Are you praying for them? Leading them to the Lord? Are you a blessing to those around you? Messiah will do that if you are in the power of His Spirit. That’s your purpose in your ministry and your anointing. But seek to fulfill it and God will empower you. Fulfill your responsibility, the ministry of sozo.

From Message #1103 – Fire And Grace
Scripture: Psalm 40:10

Today’s Mission – Be the “savior” to those you meet today. Be a blessing to others in need, share the Gospel, bless them, give them life; sozo.

King of The Curse

Monday, November 14, 2022

Matthew 27:29 says that they put a crown of thorns on Messiah. It is a mystery that goes all the way back to Eden. God told Adam and Eve that the ground will bear thorns and thistles as a sign of the world being cursed. Why did they put a crown of thorns on Messiah? They didn’t realize that they were declaring Him King of the curse. The crown represents a kingdom, the weight of which rests on the King. The whole weight of the curse rests on Him including our sorrows, our sins and our curses upon Him. He’s the king of the curse of the fallen creation. King also means ruler, so He is the Ruler of the curse. That means everything in your life, even the sins, even the consequences, even the bad things, all the thorns in your life; He is Ruler over it and will use it for good. So give thanks for everything, because He wore a crown not of gold to be the Lord of good things, but a crown of thorns to be Lord of all things, especially the thorns of your life.

From Message #1099 – Lord of Eden
Scripture: Galatians 3:13
Today’s Mission – Praise God today in your valley of trouble. Praise Him through the trials and bad things happening right now. God is ever faithful to turn these things into good.

The House of ill Repute

Friday, November 11, 2022

On a mission trip to Central America, we discovered that we had been booked into a house of ill-repute, a house of prostitution. The prostitutes were away, but still, staying in a house of prostitution is not exactly the kind of thing to put in a ministry newsletter. Something led us to stay and pray. We anointed all the rooms and gathered to worship the Lord. Then hotel employees joined and listened. A woman there had a dream that she was in a party and people were going to hell, but then she saw Jesus and He came to her. When we told her what her dream meant, she accepted the Lord as well as the hotel manager and many others there. The Lord called us to go there. Messiah was called a friend of sinners. God came to this world so you could overcome your circumstance, your situation, to bless and transform the people in your life. Don’t run away. Don’t react, but be a light to them. We are here to bring the Good News and life to this world which is a house of ill-repute.

From Message #1096 – Two Nights in San Vincente
Scripture: Mark 2:16-17

Today’s Mission – No matter where you are today, no matter what your situation, find God’s purposes in it and work it to redemption.

The Blotted Enemy

Thursday, November 10, 2022

In Exodus 17, the first battle that Israel ever fought was against the Amalekites or Amalek. Then God says, I will blot out the name of Amalek. He will not be remembered anymore. But then He says, I will be at war against Amalek from generation to generation. If the enemy of Israel, the Amalekites, are blotted out, how can God keep fighting them, or how can God’s people keep warring against them if they are already blotted out? That’s the key. God fights a blotted out enemy. The key to fighting your fight and having victory in your life is to see that you are fighting a blotted out enemy. We act as if we are fighting an enemy that is not blotted out. The old sin doesn’t look defeated, yet Messiah finished the battle on the cross. The enemy is blotted out. You will win the fight, but you have to fight a defeated enemy. Win the battle that is already won. Fight the fought battle in His strength. You live on the winning side. On the cross, it is already blotted out.

From Message #1095 – Jehovah Nissi
Scripture: Psalm 18:39

Today’s Mission – Fight your spiritual battles as if they are defeated already. Lay the groundwork covered in prayer before even stepping on the battlefield.

Galilean Storms

Wednesday, November 9, 2022

Jesus said “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” We were on our pilgrimage in Galilee, a part of the tour. It was a calm and peaceful day, a time to have a peaceful meditation with the Lord. We arranged a kayaking trip down the river Jordan to get to the Sea of Galilee, but suddenly there was a storm and the wind was taking us to the other end of Galilee which would eventually lead us to the Dead Sea. People were struggling against the wind and we found ourselves rescuing others. This trip turned out to be “Survivor Galilee” instead. The Sea of Galilee is not always peaceful. One day it is calm, the other stormy; very unpredictable. You are Christ’s disciple; you would like to stay calm and peaceful but it will not always be that way. Your peace is found in Messiah. He is our peace. Don’t look at the storm look at Messiah. He is your Shalom even in the storm.

From Message #1094 – Out of Control
Scripture: John 14:27

Today’s Mission – Don’t focus on the storm, but on the Messiah. Don’t focus on your problems, but on the answer – Him.

Your Guilt – His Asham

Tuesday, November 8, 2022

This is an amazing mystery- 700 years before Messiah was born, Isaiah, the prophet prophesied in detail about the Messiah’s death, “And He made His grave with the wicked and with the rich in His death.” He was struck down and oppressed for our sins, yet it was the Lord’s will to take on all our sins; past, present and future; for all time. The word ASHAM in Hebrew is the same word used in Leviticus for the levitical sacrifice. It does not just mean guilt offering but guilt itself. The animal that was offered up was called the guilt. Messiah became guilt for us. ASHAM means that when you are in sin and oppression in your life, Messiah has His name on it now. You do not have to bear it. Jesus is your guilt. Your sins and guilt belong to Him. Give Him your guilt; He is ASHAM; give Him your burden, give Him your past and He will lift it and release you from it because He made His life an ASHAM, a guilt offering specifically for you. Messiah has set you free.

From Message #1093 – The Asham
Scripture: Isaiah 53:9

Today’s Mission – Whatever guilt, shame, or sin you’ve been dealing with, release it to God. It has His name on it.

Can you Hear? We will see

Monday, November 7, 2022

The book of Hebrews illustrates that the writer had many things to say, but he writes that the recipients of his letter have grown dull of hearing, as they’re not bearing the fruit of God in their lives. There is no difference between the one that cannot hear and the one who hears but does not respond to it. If you hear the Word of God and do not respond by acting on it, you are spiritually deaf. When you are not hearing God, you are spiritually dead; you hear the words but cannot discern the meaning and cannot respond to the instructions or commands. In the world there are so many voices which cause deafness, but in God lack of responding has the same effect. How is your spiritually hearing of God’s voice? Are you in danger of going deaf? Would you like to hear the voice of the Lord and improve your hearing? Just do what the Word says to do, and you will hear His voice more and more. God will lead and encourage you. Those who hear are those who do the will of God.

From Message #1092 – The Anti-Backsliding Kit II
Scripture: Hebrews 5:11-12

Today’s Mission – Dwell in the presence of God today. Dwell in the Word. Listen for His voice and His Word specifically for you. Then do it.

Set Your Face

Friday, November 4, 2022

We have to learn the secret of “Face Setting.” In the book of Luke, Scripture says that as the time drew near for Messiah to ascend to Jerusalem and show Himself among the people there, He sent His disciples ahead of Him to go into a village in Samaria, but they did not receive Him because they knew that His ultimate destination was to go to Jerusalem. Messiah was not aimlessly stopping in this village; He wanted to be a blessing for these people at this time of His life. Surely this town missed out on the purposes of God in their lives. Messiah knew His purpose; He knew His goal and so He set His face like flint to complete His purpose of God’s command. You have to be like Messiah, do not be sidetracked, know your purpose in this life that He has specifically given to you. In Messiah, your life has a great and high purpose; set your life, heart, eyes, thoughts and everything on Him. Like Messiah, you will get to that high ground and you will finish your course in victory.

From Message #1089 – Hard Like Flint
Scripture: Luke 9:51-52
Today’s Mission – What has God called for your life – set your face, your life to this goal. Let no distractions take you off course

Life on The Screen

Thursday, November 3, 2022

The problem with most of the media is when you spend your time in front of the TV set or in front of entertainment, your life becomes ruled by them. The more you spend time watching, the more you will determine that nothing is happening in your life. You see, the action is on the screen and not in your life. The story is out of your life and onto the screen; what you are doing is sidelining your life. Messiah did not come so you could watch the shadowing of your life from the sidelines. He said that He came so that you can have life. The light and noise of the TV and other media is nothing to be compared to the glory of real life in Messiah. Take the time you would spend today being entertained and use it instead to be in the presence of the glory of God. Get on the field, start walking and breathing in the Messiah because life, like salvation is not a spectator sport. Jesus said that he came that you may have life and have it more abundantly.

From Message #1088 – Don The Mantle
Scripture: John 10:10

Today’s Mission – Take the time you would spend today in lesser activities and replace it with time in the Lord’s presence.

Shifting Gears

Wednesday, November 2, 2022

There is a principle of the first gear and second gear and onward. Your car works by this principle as most moving machines. Science works by it but most believers are not aware that this has a spiritual application that can change your life. At the beginning of getting your car going and rolling, it goes with small steps and you have to put all the energy into the first gear to go into second gear. Then as it starts rolling faster it goes from second into third gear without much energy. First steps start with the most energy. Start with you and God. The first step is crucial; put your energy and focus to make this change. The first step might seem as a baby step but put your energy and heart into it. Put in all your faith in God and believe you can do it. Be led by the spirit to walk in the newness of life. Focus on the first step of love, repentance and forgiveness. This is the beginning of victory; living the super life of God. Shift into first gear and soon you will be cruising.

From Message #509 – The First Step
Scripture: Romans 8:14

Today’s Mission – Begin the most critical part of your day with just you and God and be moved by the presence of His Spirit in the direction He has made for you.

THE BROKEN ALTAR

Tuesday, November 1, 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…

When God brought revival to ancient Israel, the sign that it had come was not church revival services, tent meetings, or gospel crusades – but something very different – broken altars. In the revival that came to Israel under the reign of Josiah, the central act was the king’s breaking, defiling, and pulling down the altars of the gods.

The breaking of the altar was the definitive manifestation that the reign of the false gods that had gripped the nation was broken. For ancient Israel it was the crowning act of repentance. The god whose altar was broken could not be worshiped. In the days of revival, the gods and idols that people or nation have served must be exposed and repented of.

The most brazen altar of the gods in modern times is the altar of abortion. They parallel most closely the altars of the gods that were erected in the Valley of Hinnom where the people of Israel offered up their own children as sacrifices. The Bible records that King Josiah specifically defiled and broke those altars down.

“The Return of the Gods” reveals the mystery of the return of the ancient gods to the modern world – even to America. In their return, they have again set up their altars. I finished writing the book while on the road – on June 24.

As I walked in the airport, heading to my gate, someone shouted to me. I turned around – It was a believer who was holding out his cell phone. “I just got this message from my wife.” He showed me the message: “The Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade.” The most brazen and bloody of altars, that of abortion, that on which over sixty million children had been offered up, had been broken. It was broken on June 24, the same day I finished The Return of the Gods. The man’s vision saw the word going forth and the altars breaking. And so on the day the word was completed and began to go forth, the altar was broken.

We are far from the end of abortion, but the breaking of Roe v. Wade is monumental. It is the most colossal broken altars of modern times. Biblically, it is also a sign linked to national repentance and revival. We must take it as the strongest of encouragements from God to rise to the moment. Will there be revival and a national return to God? That will depend. 2 Chronicles 7:14 still holds: “If My People…” The key word is “if.”

Let us take great encouragement and courage from God’s breaking of this darkest of altars. Let us be strong, courageous, and immoveable. Let us boldly proclaim the gospel of salvation and shine His light to this generation. For the altar has broken!

Your Brother and co-laborer in His love and service,

God Enthroned and The Secret of joy

Monday, October 31, 2022

What does the Bible say about heaven? In the Book of Revelation, heaven is described as the place of God’s throne. Isaiah 66:1 confirms it: “Heaven is My throne.” It is the place where John saw God seated on the throne. Yet, there is going to be a time when heaven comes to earth, in a sense. It says in Zechariah 14:9, “The Lord will be King over all the earth in that day.” When will heaven come to earth? It will happen when the Lord is enthroned on the earth. But we are to live a heavenly life now. How? The key is the throne. Heaven is the place where God is enthroned. If you want a heavenly life now, enthrone Him. When you enthrone Him – over your will, your desires, your ministry, everything – He becomes the sovereign Ruler over your life. So allow Him to truly reign as Lord over every part of your life and live in the blessings of heaven now, because heaven is wherever God is enthroned.

From Message #1065 – How to Dwell in Heaven…Now
Scripture: Matthew 6:10

Today’s Mission – Enthrone God in every part of your day today and every part of your life. Blessings will come.

The Encouragement of Weakness

Friday, October 28, 2022

You deal with sin. All believers do. It can be discouraging and get you down. In Hebrews it says that we have a High Priest who sympathizes with our infirmities. The high priest is, of course, Messiah. The word translated in the King James Version as “infirmity” is the Greek “asthenia.” It means “weakness.” It might sound like there is an excusing of sin when we talk about sin as a weakness. There is no excuse for sin, there is only blood for sin, the blood of Messiah. So why call it weakness? For someone who practices sin, then sin is not a weakness, it’s their life. But for God’s people, your sin is a weakness and not the direction of your life. You have a High Priest who knows your weaknesses and can sympathize. Make it your aim to give Him less to have to sympathize with. That which is not consistent with your goal or purpose, make it your aim to rid your life of all these weaknesses, because a weakness does not identify what your life is or what your life is not.

From Message #1083 – The Mega Priest
Scripture: Psalm 32:1-2

Today’s Mission – Be encouraged today. Know that God sympathizes with your weakness – and let that encourage you to put away those sins once and for all.

Batting a Thousand

Thursday, October 27, 2022

In baseball, there is a saying called “batting a thousand.” Batting a thousand means perfection – you get a hit every time, you never strike out and you never get called out. No one can do it. In baseball, at the end of the year, they come up with averages – how well people did, etc. It turns out that 300 percent is really good; that is one out of three. Even baseball’s greatest players say that 300 is great. In the Lord, good comes out of bad. If we are expecting perfection by never messing up, it is just not going to happen. Even out of falling, good comes. In God, even when we fall, if we repent and get up, it will be good. So stop dwelling on the fact that you messed up. In God batting a thousand is not about never falling, it’s about getting up and finishing the course He gave us. It’s not about messing up, it’s about repenting, coming back, hoping, and persevering. You just persevere and no matter what, my friend, you’ll end up in God’s grace, batting a thousand.

From Message #113 – Perseverance
Scripture: James 1:12

Today’s Mission – If you mess up today, don’t beat yourself up over it. Get up, repent, and start over again in the grace of God.

Having a Little Talk With Your Mind

Wednesday, October 26, 2022

In Psalm 42:11, it says, “Why are you cast down, my soul or my mind? Why are you disquieted within me?” The word for soul is also mind in the Hebrew. So it says why are you depressed? Why are you down? How many people talk to themselves? Many people enjoy talking to themselves. There is something biblical about it. It is good if it is done right. We have an idea that our mind is our mind and that’s it. Our thoughts are our thoughts; this is me, this is how I am, and that’s the end of it. But look at the scripture and understand. There is something much more that is so important. You can talk to your mind. You don’t just accept your thoughts; you can question your mind and your feelings. How about talking to your mind? Talk to your heart. Don’t just accept it, but talk. You don’t have to be stuck with your mind. That’s the good news. You can change. The word for repentance means to change your mind. You can change, and it all starts when you learn the secret of talking to your mind.

From Message #1081 – The Ten Minds
Scripture: Psalm 42:11

Today’s Mission – Talk to yourself today. And any thought, any feeling, anything that is not of God, talk yourself out of it!

Making him Pleased

Tuesday, October 25, 2022

In Colossians 1:10 it speaks about making our aim to please God. It’s hard to imagine. Can you imagine God being pleased by something you do? It is hard for us to think we can actually do something that pleases Him. We think we are never good enough and certainly we aren’t on our own. Some of us may have tried to please people and they are not pleased. Or maybe you had a father or mother who could never be pleased. He is not a father who could never be pleased. It is His will to be pleased by you. It is His will that you please Him, that you walk in such a way that He is pleased, like a father who delights in his children. You can please Him. God wants you to be blessed by pleasing Him. Make it your aim to make Him smile. Enjoy pleasing Him in everything you do and in all different ways, because it is His will to be pleased by you. Make it your will in everything you do to please your Heavenly Father.

From Message #1080 – The Presence & the Power
Scripture: Colossians 1:10

Today’s Mission – Today have one goal – to make God smile!

Shoppers and Receivers

Monday, October 24, 2022

Imagine a week before Bethlehem; Joseph turns to Mary and says, hey, do you realize we only have seven days until Christmas? We had better get our shopping done. But the real Christmas had no shopping in it. It was not about consumption. It was about receiving a gift, without shopping. You go shopping for what you want. I want this, I don’t want that, etc. So people go shopping through the Bible and take what they want. I don’t want this, or this is what I like. I don’t like this verse. I don’t like that kind of thing, I don’t like that side of salvation. But when you receive a gift, you don’t shop. You just receive what is given. The false Christmas is about shopping. The true Christmas is about a gift. They didn’t shop for Messiah, they just received what was given. God doesn’t want us picking and choosing what we like in the faith or in the Bible or in doctrine or what we agree with. Don’t spend your life shopping. Rather, focus on receiving what God has given you, because God will only give you His best.

From Message #1077 – The Anti Christmas
Scripture: Matthew 7:18

Today’s Mission – Don’t shop for or settle for second best. Receive God’s will for your life, unconditionally. And it will end up the best.

The Sluggard and the Cold

Friday, October 21, 2022

In Proverbs 20:4, it says the sluggard will not plow because of the cold; therefore, he shall beg in harvest and have nothing. What does that mean for us? God called you to reap eternal life. It is good and it is God’s will, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. When you do good, there will always be things against it. It is going to be cold. But you can’t let the resistance stop you from doing God’s will or doing good or get discouraged or give up. You can’t follow the path of least resistance and serve God at the same time. There is a path of seeking pleasure and no resistance, and the sluggard takes it, and he gets nothing in the end. But there is a path that if you go against it, you go against the resistance. For God, that leads to life, joy, and a harvest. Choose righteousness. Do you have resistance? Good. Don’t get discouraged. Don’t throw in the towel. Keep serving God, praising God, keep doing good and you will reap a harvest of blessings; because giving up on righteousness is only an option for sluggards.

From Message #1073 – The Sluggard’s Plough
Scripture: Proverbs 21:21

Today’s Mission – Don’t give up and don’t give in to the resistance today. Keep serving, keep praising, and keep on keeping on.

Starting With the Blue

Thursday, October 20, 2022

To build the Tabernacle of God, the Lord gave Israel specific instructions. The cloth was to be woven with three colors–blue, purple, scarlet. Wherever these three colors are mentioned, whether the veils or the high priest clothing, blue is always first. Why is blue first? The colors are significant. Red is the Hebrew word for Adam, it represents earth and man. Blue is the color of heaven and blue is always first, because the secret of life is that you always have to start with the blue – the heavenly. Your day – start it with the heavenly. Your plans–start with the heavenly. Your actions – start with the heavenly. Don’t live in the red. If you put earthly things first, you are going to end up with nothing. Blue first. So stop reacting to everything around you. Start looking up, respond to God; let every motive come from the blue, from heaven. Let every plan and action come from the blue, from heaven. Love with the love of God, move with the Spirit of God, live by the life of God, live in the blue and your life will never end up in the red.

From Message #1072 – The Purple Mystery II
Scripture: Matthew 6:33

Today’s Mission – Make the switch today to live in and do all things “in the blue”.

The Supernaturally Natural

Wednesday, October 19, 2022

In Acts 15, the counsel of Jerusalem met, and it was a critical moment in church history. They had to decide whether to open the doors wide for the Gentiles to come to faith. Now in one of the most important moments in church history, you would think that God would have spoken really loudly – a voice, a sign, an angel or prophecy, but there is no record of anything like that happening. Simply, they came to a decision. It happened through natural talking or deliberation. It went that way because that was the will of God. It shows how God is sovereign over human events. It shows how God works. Sometimes things seem like they are hanging on a thread, like you can go in any direction. But there is a supernatural thread weaving it together to the right thing. It’s like sewing; you pull fabrics together, but in your life God is doing that, too. He is leading through all things. He is going to lead you as you seek Him, because in God your life is supernaturally natural.

From Message #1071 – The Unyoking
Scripture: Acts 15:8-9

Today’s Mission – No matter what it looks like today, let God lead you in the direction you are to go.

Unconditional Gracias

Tuesday, October 18, 2022

We know that God has given us unconditional grace, but do you know what word comes from grace? Gracias! Gracias means thanks. That’s why we call giving thanks before a meal, grace. Grace is linked to thanks. If God gives us unconditional grace, we should give Him our unconditional gracias; unconditional thanks. It’s not enough to bear with things or endure tough times; we need to mature to the point where we give thanks for them, unconditionally. Often when things go wrong, people, including Christians, sarcastically say “thanks a lot.” But that’s not right. Instead when you face challenges, learn to say “Thanks Lord for working all this for good. You’ve given me your unconditional grace to deal with this, so I give you my unconditional thanks.” That’s why the Bible says “in everything give thanks.” Most likely you already give thanks when you get what you want or desire. But when you also give thanks for what you don’t want, then you truly will be thankful in everything. So practice being thankful to God because unconditional grace deserves unconditional gracias.

From Message #1070 – The Practice of Thanks
Scripture: Psalm 92:1-2
Today’s Mis

Taking out the Waist

Monday, October 17, 2022

I noticed something in my life that may be true for you. It takes a while to notice you’re getting fatter. You can fool yourself for a while, but not forever. You know how I noticed I was gaining weight? My pants didn’t fit anymore! You see, pants are objective standards that force you to face truth. My pants were saying, “Listen, you’re fat!” I had come to a crossroads. So with discipline and courage, I made the change; I had my pants let out! No more problems! The point is this; the problem wasn’t resolved. We also can become spiritually fat, lazy, cold, dead, misled, or weak. So it’s crucial to have standards. God’s word is a standard that doesn’t change; it’s truth. What do you do when you find your life isn’t matching up with the Word anymore? Do you, like many people, try to rationalize, dilute or alter the Word like the pants? Never alter God’s word to fit your life, rather alter your life to fit God’s Word. Because when the pants don’t fit anymore, it’s not the pants that need altering, but the person and the life inside.

From Message #1069 – The Anti-Backsliding Kit
Scripture: Psalm 19:7-9
Today’s Mission – Go over God’s standard, the Word. What parts of your life aren’t measuring up to it? Today, begin making that change.

Beating the Bully

Friday, October 14, 2022

A number of well-dressed gentlemen were sitting in a smoking room; drinking, playing card games, and enjoying the night. The problem was that the smoking room was on the Titanic. It was 11:40 p.m. Outside, two lookouts spotted a strange shape in the distance that grew larger by the second. Within 37 seconds, the ship’s fate was sealed. Those in the smoking room did not see the next sunrise. This happens all the time. This life is a sinking ship. No one gets out alive. We have a limited time and then eternity. Most people, even believers, spend their time chasing after material possessions, following trivial pursuits, focusing on what is petty, vain and meaningless. Could that be you? If so, wake up! We only have a limited time to live in holiness, fulfill our calling, spread the Gospel, and help save those who are perishing. So glorify God with all your heart because this life is too precious to waste another second in the smoking room.

From Message #861 – In Cold Blood
Scripture: 1 John 4:4

Today’s Mission – When the enemy comes against you, when problems come against you, and oppose you; stand in the strength and power of the Almighty God.

The Fullness of joy

Thursday, October 13, 2022

Psalm 16:11 says: “In your presence is fullness of joy.” Do you want joy? Real joy? Of course you do! But you won’t find it in things, or religion or success. You find joy in the presence of God. And not just joy, but fullness of joy. Not an empty, fading or fleeting joy either, but a complete joy. This joy is more than emotion; it is lasting. If you don’t have joy in the Lord, there’s a good chance you’re not spending enough time with the Lord. The joy of the Lord comes from the Lord. It doesn’t come from activities for the Lord, but from being with the Lord. Believers who are truly filled with joy are the ones who spend time with God and delight to spend time with Him. God is their delight. And that’s not all. This verse also says “…at your right hand are pleasures evermore.” Now that’s a whole lot of pleasure! So make God and your time with God the priority of everyday of your life. Cherish it, treasure it, and rejoice in it for that is the only sure way to joy.

From Message #1064 – Way of the Joyful
Scripture: Psalm 35:9

Today’s Mission – Experience the joy of the Lord today. Get in His presence and don’t leave until you have the ‘fullness of joy’.

The Tzadakim and Messiah

Wednesday, October 12, 2022

Though Messiah was crucified by Roman soldiers, the Pharisees and Sadducees plotted to put Him to death. What does the word Sadducee mean? It comes from the Hebrew word ‘tzadak’, which means righteous. Sadducee, or Tzadikim, means the righteous ones. They were the keepers of holiness and righteousness. But the Sadducees wanted Messiah crucified. It was those who saw themselves as righteous who set up the Inquisition and imprisoned, tortured, and killed multitudes of people; many of them Jews and Christians. So the Sadducees can teach us a lesson. Those who see themselves as righteous are those who most crucify Messiah. Many believers are convinced that they are the only righteous keepers of God’s way. But they are self-righteous, filled with condemnation, not love. When we let ourselves become self-righteous, we crucify Messiah, and His grace, love, mercy, and holiness. Be humble, because the only one who is righteous in Himself is Messiah. Our righteousness is only borrowed from Him.

From Message #1063 – The Priest’s Redemption
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21

Today’s Mission – Follow the humility of God today with no righteousness of your own – He will lift you up.

The Cherubim Sword

Tuesday, October 11, 2022

After the fall of man, it is written that the Lord stationed cherubim with a flaming sword to guard the way of the Tree of Life. What does that mean? Most people think it means the cherubim and sword are there to prevent anyone from approaching the Tree of Life. There is truth to this, but it’s not the final truth. It also means that you can approach the Tree of Life, but only if you walk through the cherubim and the sword. The only way to eternal life is through the sword, through dying. When Messiah opened up the way to life, He did so by passing through the flaming sword–through death, through judgment, through the cross. So the cross is the sword of the cherubim! If you want to partake of the Tree of Life and all the blessings thereof, follow Messiah. Pass through the sword, the cross; die to yourself and let go of your old life. Because the cross isn’t an end, it’s a beginning that opens up the way to peace, hope, and joy. The way of the cross is access to the Tree of Life!

From Message #1062 – The Day Of The Cherubim
Scripture: Luke 9:23

Today’s Mission – Follow Messiah through the sword of the cherubim. Follow the way of God, even when it means the dying of the flesh, the ego, and the old man – and you’ll find life on the other side.

America & The Ancient Proverb

Monday, October 10, 2022

The Book of Proverbs says, “Righteousness exalts a nation – but sin is a reproach to any people.” America has known unprecedented greatness, not because of its abilities but because of goodness – in its ideals and purpose. This proverb has held true in that God has blessed America more than any other nation in history. Yet, the second part is true as well: ‘sin is a reproach to any people.’ So as America ceases to follow the ways of God, it also will cease to be great. That’s because true greatness comes from goodness. This is as true for people as it is for nations. We often think of greatness in terms of achieving and expanding. We seek to expand our bank accounts, careers, influence, ministries, or reputations. But that’s backwards. You want greatness? Then seek goodness. If you want to live a great life, get your eyes off of status, influence, and possessions – and focus on the kingdom of God. Live a life of righteousness, integrity and godliness. Forget about being great. Be good instead; for goodness is greatness.

From Message #1416 – The American Prophecies
Scripture: Ephesians 5:9

Today’s Mission – Today, don’t seek to lift yourself up, to make yourself known. Seek to do what is right no matter what the cost. And you will find greatness.

The war of The Archay

Friday, October 7, 2022

I want to show you something really cool that can give you victory every day of your life. It’s in scripture: the keys of victory–spiritual warfare, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against rulers” (Eph. 6:12). In Greek, the word for rulers is “archay.” You see it in archbishop, archeology, archetype. It means the first things, the principle thing, the beginning. You want to have victory over sin? Fight the arches, war against them, against the beginning of sin: the first inkling, the first thought, the first appearance of it, when you are being tempted, the very first thing. Don’t let it go and give it room. Then at the end you’re fighting against something very big. Fight at its beginning. That’s the key. That’s when you’ll have the victory. The arch of doubt–fight it when it first comes in, when it’s a little thought. Fight sin at its first sight, before you get to it and you will be successful, because we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against archayes.

From Message #1049 – The Sledgehammer Principle
Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:7

Today’s Mission – Be vigilant for the first signs of temptation before it becomes sin and fight it at the earliest sign – fight the archay.

The Simplicity of Perfection

Thursday, October 6, 2022

Einstein saw his Theory of Relativity not as complicated, but simple. He believed that the simple and beautiful would be the truth. That is true of God. Sin is complicated. Righteousness is simple. Lies are complex; truth is simple. God isn’t complicated, nor is Messiah or salvation. God is infinite, but simple. Messiah’s love is deep, but simple. Salvation is endless, but simple. In Hebrew, perfection is “tamim,” but it also means simple. It speaks of the Passover Lamb who was without blemish. Perfect faith is not complicated, it’s simple. We get into complicated systems, thoughts and emotions, but it’s not of God. The perfect heart is not a complicated heart, it’s a simple heart, loving and joyful. The perfect subject and focus is not complicated, but a simple one. The focus is God. Come back to the simplicity of your faith, my friend, to God, the simplicity of life in God. You don’t need complicated issues. You need the love of God. He is perfect, and it’s that simple.

From Message #1041 – Tamim
Scripture: Amos 5:14-15

Today’s Mission – Take steps to simplify your life today, find your joy at the feet of Messiah and remove those things that take away from His presence.

The Worthless

Wednesday, October 5, 2022

A name of Satan in the Bible is Belial. It’s the Hebrew word for Bel-ya-al which means worthless. The devil isn’t just evil, he’s worthless. Evil is worthless. Sin isn’t just sin, it’s worthless. The more you sin, the more it takes away your worth as a believer. It wastes your life, your time, your thoughts, your energy, and your walk. It takes you away from what you could and should be doing. The enemy wants to make your life worthless; to nullify your calling. When you are sinning, you are not serving God or spreading salvation. You’re not praising or glorifying Him. You’re missing your calling, wasting your life–it’s worthless. Sin is not only a waste, but waste is a sin. When we spend hours in front of the TV or watching that questionable entertainment, we could have been spending time with the Lord or reading the Word or serving Him. It’s a waste, a sin, its Belial. Stop wasting your life. The Lord gave His life so your life will be worth something. It is, if you spend it with Him. Everything else is of the devil.

From Message #1040 – The True Witness
Scripture: Hosea 10:12
Today’s Mission – What sin is still in your life? Realize today that it’s a total waste of your life and time. Rid yourself of it – and anything else that wastes your life.

The God of Wounded Knees

Tuesday, October 4, 2022

When you were a kid and skinned your knees, you went to your mother because she would be very gentle with you; she would take water, and disinfectant to clean the wound. When you pulled away, she’d say you have to let me touch it if you want it to be better. God loves us more than a mother; a mother’s love is only a shadow of His love. God’s love isn’t just love, it’s a love that heals. In life, we fall, we get wounded by others. We may have wounds of rejection, of being abandoned or hurt by others, wounds of divorce or of never having received love or of being cut down continuously. These wounds stay with us. Isaiah 1 says you are filled with wounds not pressed out or bandaged. God is more than a mother and you need to run to Him. Bring the wounds to Him. Spill your soul, God wants to touch and to bless. You have to let Him touch it once and for all and you will find healing. The only thing that brings healing is the love of God. Run to God and be healed.

From Message #1039 – More Than a Mother
Scripture: Matthew 4:23

Today’s Mission – Bring every hurt, wound, rejection, whatever pain you carry, to the Lord. Pour out your heart to Him. Let healing come.

The Bread Man

Monday, October 3, 2022

Joseph is a foreshadow of Messiah. Like Messiah, Joseph is rejected by his brothers, he descends to the depths, and is raised up and given a new name. Pharaoh called him, Zephenath-paneah, the bread of life or the bread man. Joseph was the bread man when Egypt was in a famine. Joseph gave them bread. Remember, Joseph is the shadow of Messiah. The rabbis even called him Messiah, Son of Joseph, or Ben Yosef. Messiah, like Joseph, is the bread man. If we spend too much time away from Yeshua, we grow weak; like having no bread. He’s the only one who can fill our souls. If you haven’t been spending much time with Messiah, you are not just missing time with the Lord, but missing time with the Bread Man, and your soul is not full. Turn back to the Bread of our lives. Spend time in His presence. Taste and see that the Lord is good. He’s not only the Lord, He’s the Bread Man; the Bread of Life–the Bread of your life. Away from Him, you can’t help but be empty. Draw near to Him, my friend, and be filled.

From Message #1038 – The Mystery King
Scripture: Jn. 6:35

Today’s Mission – Draw ever closer to Messiah and be filled with His presence, and fill yourself up with the Bread of His presence.

The Bunny and The Empty Tomb

Friday, September 30, 2022

As a young Jewish boy, the Easter bunny was more real than the Resurrection. We made Easter baskets in school, but nothing about the Resurrection. The Easter bunny has nothing to do with Easter. It doesn’t change anyone’s life; it’s imaginary, but the Resurrection is real; it changes everything. For most believers, life goes on as if the Resurrection never happened; nor is the tomb empty; as if Jesus has not risen; there’s really no good news, no actual victory. It’s as if it were just a fable, and their life remains untouched. That’s not the Resurrection, that’s Easter bunny faith. The Resurrection is real. It’s to be lived, and to touch every part of your life: your family life, marital life, emotional life, your personal life, your everything life. Stop living the Easter bunny faith; start living the Resurrection. Our faith isn’t about a basketful of colored eggs, it’s based on an empty tomb.

From Message #1034 – The Easter Bunny & the Passover Lamb
Scripture: Psalm 130:7-8

Today’s Mission – Be truly transformed today in a resurrected life, be empowered in a spirit of victory over death because He is risen!

The Redemption Price of Man

Thursday, September 29, 2022

Messiah was bought for thirty shekels of silver, the price one would pay for a slave. In Hebrew, it’s also called the pidyon, the redemption price required for every first-born son. In Scripture, the number of man is six. Divide the price of Messiah’s life, thirty pieces of silver by six, you get five shekels, the price of redemption. The price of Messiah’s life divided by five, the price of redemption, equals six, the number of man. Messiah’s life was not the redemption price of one person, but for the redemption of all men. Every sin, bondage, freedom, healing, restoration, it’s all there, covered in the price of Messiah’s life. If you have anything you haven’t lifted up to God, any sin, guilt, anything out of God’s will, the price for its redemption is already covered. The transaction isn’t complete until you give it to Him. Whatever the debt, the Lord will pay it. Whatever the loss, the Lord will redeem it, but you have to release it to His hands. In the thirty pieces of silver, it’s all covered.

From Message #1033 – The Pidyon Mystery
Scripture: Psalm 132:7-8

Today’s Mission – What is it in your life that isn’t resolved, a guilt, a sin, a failure. Lift it up to God today. He’s already paid for it, covered it. Receive it.

The Prayer Request of The Apostle

Wednesday, September 28, 2022

At the end of his letter to the Ephesians, Paul writes, “Pray for me that the words may be given to me whenever I open my mouth.” If anybody had no shortage of words, it was the apostle Paul. Yet he asks for prayer that the right words be given to him. If Paul, whose mouth was filled with the very words of God, asked prayer for the right words to come out of his mouth, how much more should you be praying the same prayer? How often do we pray that the words that come out of our mouth be the right ones? Yet Paul, the one whose words were scripture, prayed this prayer. Take your words just as seriously because as the Bible says, your words have the power to bring life or death. They can change your life and the life of those around you. Paul’s words brought life because Paul resolved that his tongue would only bear the truth and the love of God and bring life into this world. Let your tongue be just as holy and let the words of your mouth be the very utterance of God.

From Message #475 – Ambassador in Chains
Scripture: Psalm 19:14

Today’s Mission – Let the Spirit lead you, pray just as Paul prayed, that His words fill your thoughts to speak life and love.

Unclogging The Shofar

Tuesday, September 27, 2022

The most uniquely Biblical musical instrument was the shofar, the Hebrew trumpet from a ram’s horn. The word shofar comes from a word that means clear. To make a sound, you have to be clear. You can’t blow through something that’s all clogged up. You’re called to be the Lord’s shofar–a vessel of God, an instrument for His purposes. He blows through you with the Spirit. The Spirit is the Hebrew word Ruach, which means breath in Spirit. For you to be God’s instrument, God’s Spirit has to blow through you, breathe through you. In order for the Spirit to blow through you, you have to be clear, you have to be free of obstructions and clogged up stuff like bitterness, un-forgiveness, pride, lust, anger, or anything that’s going to stop the blowing. Start clearing up your vessel. Unblock yourself. Anything out of God’s will is stopping you from knowing the Spirit-filled life. It says in Timothy, if anyone will cleanse himself from these things, he will be used of God, prepared for every good work, a vessel of honor. Become a clear vessel, a shofar of God. It starts when you get unblocked.

The Emunah Key to Your Ministry

Monday, September 26, 2022

Most believers want to find out what God’s perfect will, their calling, is for their lives. There are all sorts of seminars on how to find your calling. Something even more important in finding your calling is in 1 Chronicles 9:26. It’s about the Levites being in their set office, the set word. In Hebrew the word for set is emunah, or faith, and here it’s being used for set or established in ministry. The more faith you have, the more set, established in the Lord, you’re going to be in your appointed ministry. You’ll find yourself set in the center of His will. The word emunah also means faithfulness. The fulfilling of your calling is linked to faithfulness. The more consistent you are, faithful in prayer, the Word, doing His will, the more you find yourself in God’s perfect will and the more established you will be. You don’t have to go to another seminar or read another book. Live, walk, step out in faith and be faithful. Follow God’s will in faithfulness, consistent every day, week, month and every year, and you’ll be established in your set office in God’s house.

From Message #1059 – Growing Emunah
Scripture: Colossians 1:4-6

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim to be faithful to God every hour, every moment, and you will move to the center of His will and of your calling.

Gifts to The Mailman

Friday, September 23, 2022

Imagine that you sent this really costly gift through the mail to a loved one. A week later you get a letter back thanking you for the beautiful gift, signed, the mailman. The thank you from the mailman would mean the gift never got to the one you sent it to. In the same way, every good work you do is to be for God, a gift to God. If you do things to get someone to thank you, what are you doing? You’re giving gifts to the mailman. It’s not getting to where it’s supposed to go. All the good you ever do, all the love you ever show, is to be a gift to God. You do it to people, but it goes to God. If you start expecting thank you notes from people, you’re not really addressing your gift or your good works rightly to God. Stop sending your gifts to the mailman. Stop expecting people to thank you, recognize, or praise your good works. Start getting your good works in to Heaven. That is, do it for God alone, His thank you alone, His eyes only, and not for the mailman.

From Message #1056 – The Dal
Scripture: Matthew 6:4
Today’s Mission – Today seek to get nothing from others, no thank you ,no recognition, but live this day completely to bless God and bless others.

Kee Mitzion – Going Forth From Jerusalem

Thursday, September 22, 2022

Why did the Lord command His disciples to “tarry,” to wait in Jerusalem? The answer is sung by Jews in virtually every synagogue. The exact words are: Kee Mitzion Taytzeh torah – The Law shall go forth from Zion – Oo davar Adonai may Yerushalayim – And the Word of the Lord shall go forth from Jerusalem. It’s prophesied in Isaiah that one day, the Word of the Lord shall go forth to all nations, and will come from Jerusalem. Whenever Orthodox Jews chant this, they are bearing witness to the Gospel as only Messiah brought the Word of God to the world from Jerusalem. What does it have to do with you? Everything. If the Jewish people and Messiah knew that it’s crucial for the Gospel to begin in Jerusalem -you also must begin the Gospel in Jerusalem. Where is Jerusalem? Jerusalem is where you start out; your home is Jerusalem, your family is Jerusalem, your co-workers – that’s Jerusalem. Share the Good News now where you’re at – in Jerusalem. Then the power of God will go forth, and the Word of the Lord shall go forth from Jerusalem.

From Message #701 – Yerushalyim: the Mystery
Scripture: Luke 24:46

Today’s Mission – Today focus on your Jerusalem, and bless it with the love of God.

Jerusalem The Blemished – Jerusalem The Beautiful

Wednesday, September 21, 2022

In 1967, after 2000 years, the Jewish people regained Jerusalem. In God’s word, Jerusalem – Yerushalayim is called “beautiful.” Rabbis say of the ten measures of beauty bestowed on this world, nine were given to Jerusalem. Its praises fill much of Scriptures. But if you visit Jerusalem, you’ll find it’s pretty much just a bunch of rocks. Yet, God’s word speaks of it as if it were the most beautiful place in the world. When you’re in love, it doesn’t matter what they look like to you; they’re beautiful. So it is with God and Jerusalem, and with your life. Look around; you’ll see some very imperfect people. Look at your circumstances; you’ll see lots of problems. Look at yourself, without God’s grace, you’ll see a sinful wretch. Learn the mystery of Jerusalem, the Beautiful. See your life through the eyes of God’s love and grace. See your circumstances as blessings, people around you as gifts, your walk victorious, your life something wonderful, and piles of rocks as Jerusalem, the beautiful.

From Message #1031 – The Hebrew Mysteries
Scripture: Micah 7:18

Today’s Mission – Live today through God’s eyes, see yourself through God’s eyes, and see every situation as a chance to reveal God’s love.

You’re Being Recorded

Tuesday, September 20, 2022

Heaven is the most valuable real estate in the universe. Every inch is priceless. If you’re born again, heaven has a place with your name on it. Messiah Himself said, don’t rejoice that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice rather that your names are written in the Book of Life. Of all the important things that heaven has, there’s your name in it. You write things down because it’s noteworthy. You don’t want to ever forget it. Your name is considered worthy of heaven’s attention, worthy of heaven’s notes. Your name, your salvation is considered worthy of heaven’s writing. If that’s the case, shouldn’t you treat your own salvation as something worthy and holy? If heaven actually takes up its own space for your name because you are saved, how much more do you have to value, treasure and guard your own salvation? Don’t live just an earthly life. It doesn’t matter if your name is written or spoken on earth, live a heavenly life. Live a life worthy of the notes heaven is taking on it for your salvation. Your name is included, held, kept, recorded and written in heaven.

From Message #1055 – Your Name In Heaven
Scripture: Revelation 20:12

Today’s Mission – Live today a life that is worthy of being noted by heaven. Take actions worthy of being recorded in the annals of heaven.

The Presence of the Fruit

Monday, September 19, 2022

Galatians 5:22 speaks about the fruits of the Spirit. One of the fruits of the Spirit is joy and it’s in the Holy Spirit. We tend to think of joy as a feeling, emotion, or experience. Joy isn’t spoken here as an emotion, experience or feeling. It’s a fruit and it’s important. The word in Hebrew is “periy – a fruit.” If there’s a banana in the fruit bowl, it’s not an experience, feeling, or emotion of a banana in the fruit bowl. It’s a banana in the fruit bowl. It’s a real thing, a presence. That’s the joy that God has for you in the Spirit. Fruit isn’t an experience, it’s a presence; a reality. Forget about experiencing highs, about trying to have an experience of joy. Rather comprehend the reality of joy, the presence of God, the presence of joy which is always there even in tough times, when you’re not feeling so good. It’s like the fruit in the bowl. It’ll still be there tomorrow morning. You can rejoice always, because the joy that God gives you is at least as real as a banana.

The Scarlet Redemption

Friday, September 16, 2022

In the Bible, scarlet is the color of sin. In Isaiah, “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.” Scarlet is the color of sin, yet scarlet is also the color of redemption. It was the color of the thread that Rahab used and was saved. It was the color of the Passover doorposts when the Hebrews sprinkled it with blood and were saved. It is the color that was sprinkled on the mercy seat on the Day of Atonement that saved them from sin. Messiah became sin for us, to take away sin from us. It’s amazing, when you look back at your life, you find out that it’s generally not the good times that changed you or produced the most good, but the bad times as the Lord uses everything for His good. Take that guilt, take that past sin, take that failure and lift it to God, lift it to the cross, and it will become your victory. What was once sin will become repentance, conviction, holiness, love, purity and zeal for God. Because scarlet, the color of sin is also the color of redemption.

From Message #1029 – The Purple Mystery I
Scripture: Isaiah 1:18

Today’s Mission – Lift everything in your life, the darkest and most ungodly things, to the Lord. Give Him thanks for redeeming it and turning your scarlet into redemption.

A Time to Hate

Thursday, September 15, 2022

There is a term in our Bible known as “good hate.” For instance, in Psalms, “I will set no evil thing in front of my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside” and “I hate every false way.” Proverbs speaks about hate, “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance.” We have to love people, but to hate sin and hate evil. Hate sin in your own life, so much that we will also set no evil thing in front of our eyes. We need to hate that sin of adultery, gossip, self-pride and selfishness so much that you fight it with all your strength. We must hate the evil way. There is a holy hatred, not of flesh and blood, but of evil. It’s a good thing to have a beautiful hate for sin. It is part of the Psalms and Psalms are beautiful. The hatred of sin starts with us in our own life. When you sing Psalms of praise, it is as worship to God as when you set your heart to become a much more loving person by hating your own sin.

From Message #1027 – The Amalek Mystery
Scripture: Psalm 101:3

Today’s Mission – Love the sinner but hate the sin – and apply this to yourself. Give no room for temptations of selfishness or fleshly desires but maintain a spirit of holiness.

The Real Goal

Wednesday, September 14, 2022

You’re in your car, you’re late, and the person ahead of you is going really slow. You say, “Come on, step on it, buddy! I have to get to service, and the teaching is really important. It’s called ‘Be Still and Know That I am God’.” How often we miss the point. You’re rushing and anxious because you’re late. You’re losing peace, and becoming more and more unlike a Christian. You’re losing the gifts of the Spirit because you’re rushing somewhere to hear about the gifts of the Spirit. You might be in a ministry or have a goal to do God’s will, but doing it in the worst way. How easy we forget the reason why we do what we do. Your real goal is not to get to that meeting because if it is, you will end up with no peace, patience or love. Your goal is simply this, love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and your neighbor as yourself. That’s it. When you’re behind that really slow driver, it’s okay. Just love, bless and pray for them. That will please the Lord, and that’s the real goal.

From Message #1019 – The Samaritan’s Choice
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7

Today’s Mission – Keep in mind today that every encounter is a divine appointment. Your real goal is to love God and those you encounter.

The Other Katzeer

Tuesday, September 13, 2022

The Lord sent the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, the Hebrew Feast of Shavuot. It’s also called in Hebrew – Khag Ha Katzeer – the Feast of Harvest. In Israel the wheat harvest begins in the early summer with Shavuot-Pentecost. Every year the Israelites would celebrate Shavuot in Jerusalem, then reap their harvest fields. The Spirit came on Pentecost because Pentecost is Khag Ha Katzeer – The Feast of Harvest to begin the harvest of souls. The Spirit came to give us the power to reap the harvest of salvation. That was the last Great holy day given. We’re still in the harvest. The Spirit is spreading the Gospel and salvation. Lift up your eyes and look around; the harvest is ripe; it’s all around you. Look for people who need salvation. Go and tell them the good news. You have the answer. The Spirit was given to you so you can also have power. Go forth into the fields of harvest – the Great Commission. The Spirit will rest upon you, and you will be clothed with power. For Pentecost is Khag Ha Katzeer, the Feast of Harvest.

From Message #700 – Seasons Of The Harvest
Scripture: Acts 1:3-8

Today’s Mission – Proclaim the Good News in your field of work and your field of neighbors. Share and be that witness to the answer of salvation.

The day of Oaths

Monday, September 12, 2022

The Holy Spirit came on Pentecost; the Feast of Fifty days. Its Hebrew name was Shavuot which means weeks. The Feast of Weeks or rather the Feast of Sevens. Shavuot refers to the seven weeks that began with Passover. That’s very significant in Hebrew because the word ‘seven’ in Hebrew, doesn’t just mean seven; it means promise, oath, swearing. When people would make promises and oaths, they would swear seven times. Shavuot – the Feast of Promises, Oaths, Swearings – the Feast of the Promise of God, of God’s Oath. The Holy Spirit is a surety of God’s promise. Just as God swears by Himself in the Hebrew Scriptures, so He gives Himself the sign of His Oath, by giving the Spirit. He gives Himself as the Guarantee of His Oath. Pentecost/ Shavuot is the last great gift of God for this age. For His Spirit is the guarantee of His faithfulness. Sometimes you wonder if you can trust the Lord. He will never leave or forsake you. The guarantee is that He’s given you His own Spirit. For God has given you Himself, His own Spirit as the very oath of His promise to you.

From Message #777 – The Shavuot Mystery
Scripture: Hebrews 13:5

Today’s Mission – Invite the Holy Spirit into every plan, activity, and situation today. And let His will be accomplished through you.

The Meta Story

Friday, September 9, 2022

Are you complaining and blaming others for your problems, and how your life is going? Anytime we blame someone for our problems, we are ultimately blaming God. He is in charge of everything; He is in control. Even your problems are under His control. Even things that seem out of control are under His control. If you are complaining about your life, then it’s one of two things. Either you forgot that God is God, or you are blaming and complaining against God. Either way, it’s not a winning proposition. The good news is, you can be at peace. Whatever the complaint, whatever you thought you should have but don’t, or you do have but don’t want; whatever the regret, whatever happened you didn’t want, be in peace. Remember, God IS in control. Never complain against God; you know He’s right. Give thanks instead, knowing that He’s in charge. If you are in His will, He will work all things together for your good. You will be blessed, because He loves you and He’s in charge.

From Message #1017 – The Finishers
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5

Today’s Mission – Seek the good in all things that come your way today. Be at peace in your heart no matter what tries to upset you.

The yud Step

Thursday, September 8, 2022

Messiah said not one jot or tittle will perish from God’s word. Jot was the Hebrew letter “Yud.” It’s like an apostrophe. It’s the letter that begins the word Israel–Yisrael, Yehovah, Yeshua, some of the most important words in Hebrew. If you look at the life you are to live, your calling, the life of victory and holiness, it looks overwhelming; out of reach. Even to repent, to break that sin can seem overwhelming. Remember the Yud. The Yud begins most of the blessings God has for His people, even the Aaronic blessing. Remember, the blessings God has for you begin with a Yud, the smallest things. Your life of victory and righteousness often begins with the smallest step. You can’t walk a whole journey today, just the first step. You can’t complete a life of repentance or victory today, but you can take the Yud of repentance, the Yud of victory, the Yud of holiness. Take one small stroke for righteousness today, of repentance, of victory, of new beginnings and you will live a life of blessings. For most of God’s blessings begin with a Yud.

From Message #1016 – Inherit The Land
Scripture: Matthew 5:18

Today’s Mission – Close that gap to achieve your victory in Yeshua by making one small step to holiness and then keep going.

The Journey of up

Wednesday, September 7, 2022

Several decades ago, at this time of year, Israel became a nation again, with Jewish people returning to their ancient homeland. They made “aliyah.” Aliyah tells you where your life is to be heading. The Gospels always speak of Yeshua, Jesus going UP to Jerusalem – always UP. Jerusalem, was set on the Judean hills, but more importantly, when you’re going to God you always go up. The journey was called aliyah, the journey of ascending. Whenever someone goes to the Holy Land, it’s said they’re “making aliyah.” If you go to Israel, or from Israel to Jerusalem, you’re making aliyah. If you’re born again, your life is now to become a spiritual aliyah. Your direction is UP, heavenward. Apostle Paul would write of pressing on in the “upward” call. You, too, have an upward call. Every day, you have a choice between a higher and lower step. So every day, choose always the higher step over the lower, the more heavenly over the less. Dare to go for the highest. You’ll be amazed at what happens to your life – going up – making aliyah.

From Message #1360 – The Aliyah Mystery
Scripture: Psalm 122

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim to take the higher step today, and keep taking it until you rise to higher ground.

Baal Ha Halamote

Tuesday, September 6, 2022

One of the most beautiful foreshadows of Messiah in Hebrew scripture is the foreshadow of Joseph. Even the rabbis saw that as parallel when they spoke of Messiah as being Mashiach Ben Yosef or Messiah the son of Joseph. In the Bible, Joseph is given a Hebrew title; Baal Ha Halamote which means the master of dreams. Joseph is a shadow of Messiah. This tells us that Messiah is not only the Lord of the world but the master of dreams. One of the things we don’t often talk about is our dreams. Our lives are filled with dreams, desires, and hopes, but most of them don’t come true. Many of us live our lives in the shadow of broken dreams and we mourn the loss of them throughout our lives, but He is the master of dreams. He knows your dreams and hopes; all the things that are broken in your heart. Messiah knows how to redeem them. Open your heart and pour out your heart before the Lord. You gave Him your life, now give Him your dreams. He is not only the Lord of life, He is the master of dreams.

From Message #1014 – Master of Dreams
Scripture: Psalm 21:1-2

Today’s Mission – Share with God your hopes and dreams; seek His will in all these yearnings of your heart. Let Him be Master of everything.

The Secret Kings & Queens

Monday, September 5, 2022

Did you know that Joseph and Mary, or Yosef and Miriam, were royalty? They had to be since they were in Messiah’s genealogy. Even Joseph was of the royal line from David. And Mary was a royal princess. You might be thinking that it must have been a privilege to be born of the royal house, to be in Messiah’s genealogy. We were not born of any kind of house like that. But you are indeed royal if you are born again. And since you are born again, you also are in Messiah’s genealogy. It’s the record of the people who bore Him, the people through which He came. And if Messiah has come into your life, then you are of His genealogy. And if you are born again, your life has to be a royal life. So stop living your life as if it was just another life. This life is a royal life. Start thinking royal thoughts, take royal actions, speak royal words and start doing royal things. For those through whom the King comes, they are truly royal and that means you.

From Message #1011 – Royal
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9
Today’s Mission – Live royal today, take royal actions, think royal thoughts, walk in royal footsteps.

The Lion Heralds

Friday, September 2, 2022

With Messiah’s first coming, He called His disciples to have a key part, to go with Him throughout Israel to spread the word of salvation to all the earth. Messiah is coming again. And just as the original disciples were chosen in His first coming, so He chooses and calls us, as born-again believers, to have a key part in His second coming. Now the original disciples prepared the way for the Lamb who was to be slain. But we are to prepare the way for the Lion who is to reign in glory. How do you prepare for a Lion? By proclaiming and honoring His kingship over everything…our lives, our homes, our towns, and our world. We are to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom, and the coming of the King. We are to live as if He were already King because He already is. It’s exciting! We have as much part in His coming as the disciples did 2,000 years ago. As a believer, you are the disciple of the Lion. So prepare the way of the Lord and make straight the path, for the King is coming, and you are His herald!

From Message #1032 – Day Of The Lion
Scripture: Isaiah 62:10-11
Today’s Mission – Proclaim God as sovereign in your life. Share the Good News of the coming King in your neighborhood

THE RETURN OF THE GODS

Thursday, September 1, 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…

It will be the most explosive book I have ever written. What will happen? I can’t say – it could be banned. But I knew I had to write it. It will be called The Return of the Gods. The day I finished it turned out to be the day that the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade. I believe it is all linked together to the same mystery.
It is scheduled to come out September 6, 2022. Pray for God to powerfully anoint it.
The mystery that will be revealed in The Return of the Gods will open up an entirely other dimension, one that lies behind almost everything that is happening in our culture.
Could it be that behind what is happening to America and the world lies a mystery hidden in the ancient inscriptions of the Middle East?
Is it possible that ancient entities known to the nations as the “gods” are more than fiction and actually possess an independent reality?
Is it possible that they have returned to our world? Could these entities lie behind what we see on our television screens and computer monitors, what our children are being taught in their classrooms, current events, news, and the movements of our times – behind what is even now influencing our lives without our realizing it?
Who is the Possessor, the Enchantress, the Destroyer, and the Transformer? What is the Dark Trinity? And what does it have to do with what is now taking place in our culture?
Is it possible that one of these ancient entities once paid a visit to New York City and started a cultural revolution that is still transforming our world?
Could there be a mystery that lies behind and explains the sign of the rainbow and the reason it is now saturating our culture that goes back to ancient Mesopotamia?
Could the mystery of the gods have actually determined the outcome and timing of Supreme Court rulings down to their exact days?
Is it possible that the dynamics of ancient mythology have actually played out in our public squares in city streets in real time? What this all leading is to and what do we need to know in dealing with them, and in view of the future?
This is what I will be revealing in The Return of the Gods.
I knew I had to write it for this very moment. There will likely be opposition, but pray that God will powerfully use it. Pray that it will break down walls. That it will touch those in darkness and strengthen those in the light. Lastly pray for His grace, anointing, protection, and power. Pray for revival like never before – it is the will of God. Make this your aim – and may God greatly bless you as you do!

Scripture: Ephesians 6:12

The Departed

Wednesday, August 31, 2022

In the New Testament we are told that we are children of Abraham. It doesn’t matter if you are Jewish or gentile; if you are born again, you are a child of Abraham. Abraham is the first person in scripture to be called a Hebrew. Now the Hebrew word for “Hebrew” is actually Ivri. It means one who crosses over. Crossing over means leaving something or someplace behind. That’s what Abraham did. He left his old life behind to follow God. So if you are born again, you are a spiritual Hebrew, an Ivri. And like Abraham, you have the power to leave the old behind. One of the most important things you can ever do in the Lord is to leave. Leaving is a key to releasing blessings in your life. So learn to be good at leaving. Become a master at leaving… leaving sin, old habits, second best and what’s familiar or comfortable. God desires to do something new in your life. But you can’t walk in newness of life unless you leave the old life behind. Always remember, you are a spiritual Ivri. And the power of a leaver is in you!

From Message #1031 – The Hebrew Mystery
Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14

Today’s Mission – Cross over those barriers in your life. Leave the sins and old ways behind to enter the blessings in store for you.

The Secret of Vanishing

Tuesday, August 30, 2022

In Acts 15, the Council of Jerusalem had to make a decision regarding circumcision for gentiles. But Acts 15 is also the very last time Peter is mentioned in the historical account of the Bible. Though he turns up in Paul’s letters and his own letters, he vanishes after Acts 15. The rest of Acts centers on Paul’s ministry. What is cool is that in his letters, Peter only blesses Paul. There is no indication of ego, pride, or hurt feelings even though Peter opened the door for ministry to the gentiles. Serving the Lord isn’t about us at all. We can’t serve the Lord and be wrapped up in ego or pride. The Lord is the One who gave Himself up on the cross. So we must serve Him with selflessness and humility. Be honest! Could you disappear like Peter? Could you continue to serve God’s purposes while someone else became the focus of attention? If not, then learn the joy of being so wrapped up in God that you disappear. For the one who can disappear with joy will appear in glory in the Kingdom… just like Peter, the vanishing apostle.

From Message #1030 – David’s Sukkah
Scripture: Psalm 100:2

Today’s Mission – Seek to disappear today, to lose yourself, and live a day totally focused on God. Experience the pure joy of serving the Lord with a servant’s heart.

The Yellow Lights of Your Life

Monday, August 29, 2022

You’re driving somewhere, and you’re late. The light is green, but it’s turning yellow, and you are a believer. Like many of us, you floor the gas pedal. A hint of red is coming up, so you go through it. It wasn’t red, not exactly yellow, sort of reddish-yellow. You zoom through; everyone is reading your bumper stickers, “Honk if you love Jesus,” “If you see this car without a driver, I’ve been raptured!” and you’re going through a red light. In life, some things are definitely wrong: smoking, drunkenness, sexual immorality–those are the red lights. Then there are things that seem questionable. That television show, that activity, that relationship, that decision, that compromise. These are yellow lights. You know adultery is wrong, but that flirtation, that second glance–that’s the yellow light! You can speed up or put on the brakes. The problem is, yellow lights become red lights and if you don’t stop that flirtation, it will become adultery. So stop that thing. It’s not only the red lights, but more importantly, it’s the yellow lights.

From Message #1026 – The Shabbat Paradox
Scripture: Psalm 19:7

Today’s Mission – Look for those warning signs of compromise to sin that lead away from God’s will in your life and steer away from them.

Through the Logos From Philo

Friday, August 26, 2022

In the beginning of the Book of John, it is written, “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God, and all things were made through Him, and apart from Him, nothing was made that has been made.” The Greek word for “word” is “logos.” In the first century there was a Jewish man named Philo Judeaus, a very famous philosopher. As far as we know, he never heard the Gospel; yet look what he writes in his commentary on Genesis 2 on the creation. He writes, “No mortal thing could have been formed on the similitude of the supreme Father of the universe, except after the pattern of the second deity, who is the Logos. Even in his ignorance of the Gospel, he is bearing witness of the truth of the Gospel. Life is not so much about living with Him, but living through Him, for through Him we came into existence, and only by living through Him can we come to the fullness of life.

From Message #1005 – Jehovah of Nazareth
Scripture: Psalm 119:50

Today’s Mission – Don’t go through today alone – but live today through Him – see things through His eyes, feel things through His heart, and walk in His footsteps.

Avram’s Road

Thursday, August 25, 2022

Avram, you probably know him as Abram. Abram, became Abraham when he answered God’s call. He was called by God to leave his homeland and leave his old life. He walked by faith. He believed God’s word and he acted on it. He walked and he kept walking and he kept continuing and persevering in faith. He kept walking away from the old life and continuously walking towards the new life, away from the seen and to the unseen, away from what he knew and to the unknown. He walked very consistently, and every footstep was another action of faith; one step farther away from the old life, one step closer to the new. If you are born again you are a child of Abraham You need to be walking away from the old and step to the new every day of your life with consistent, continual steps in faith. Act on your faith, my friend, and keep acting on it and walk on your faith and keep walking consistently and faithfully. Leave the old, enter the new. Don’t just feel your faith, live it. So you too, will enter the land of promises.

From Message #1004 – Out of Chaldea
Scripture: Galatians 3:7
Today’s Mission – Live today like Abraham. Go through the day as a journey, taking steps away from the old life and the old you, and stepping forward to new things, to a new life and a new you, you have not yet known

In Acts 13:39, it says something like this, “Through Him, everyone who believes is freed from all things, from that which you could not be freed through the law of Moses.” It means that whatever that bondage is in your life, that it has to be part of that “all things.” In Messiah you have the power to be free; by believing in the One who saves. Those who believe, anyone who believes, not some but everyone who believes, really believes will be free indeed. The more you believe, the more faith you have, the more you get that into your heart. The more you really believe what the Bible says, the more you will be free from all things, everything. In Messiah, you have the power, not to be free from a few things, or some things, or even many things. It doesn’t say that, it says all things. Good news. That thing that is a bondage in your life is a thing. It means it is covered. So start your process of freedom today; take the first step in Messiah. You are freed, not from some, but from all things.

From Message #841 – The Angelic Prison Break
Scripture: John 8:36

Today’s Mission – Believe in the One who has redeemed you. And in that, step out in freedom from all those things that kept you in chains.

Born for Adversity-What it Means to you

Tuesday, August 23, 2022

“Akh” in Hebrew means “brother.” Proverbs 17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother (Akh) is born for adversity.” A brother is born for hard times, not just good times. A true brother is born in times of hardship, adversity, to stand with you when everything is against you. When we say brother; it doesn’t mean much unless it’s tested. Those who stand in adversity are the true ones. That’s the most important time for being a brother. You are the brother of the Lord because you’re born again; for times of adversity, to show yourself true, not just when God blesses you, but in times of testing. That’s what you’re born for, not to abandon or forsake Him, but to stand with Him all the more in adversity, trouble, persecution. When times are tough, show your true devotion to Him. When you go through a trial, don’t despair; praise Him. You will be blessed because you were born as His brother, and a brother is born for adversity and He stands with you in your adversity.

From Message #997 – The Storm Brother
Scripture: Psalm 34:1-3

Today’s Mission – When you encounter a test today, stand strong in devotion to Messiah, above all; praising Him through any adversity.

Consider it Pure joy

Monday, August 22, 2022

In the book of James it says, “Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing the testing of your faith produces endurance. The word in Greek is “peripipto,” meaning when you find yourself surrounded by Him. Consider it pure joy when you are surrounded with troubles. You would think, maybe surrounded by coconut trees or palm trees or water and attendants. No, no. Consider it pure joy when you are surrounded by trials, or surrounded by evil, or surrounded by adversity, surrounded by temptation, or when you are being attacked by the enemy. Usually being surrounded by adversity and trouble is not pure joy. It doesn’t say “pure joy.” It says, “consider it pure joy.” It doesn’t seem that way, but consider it. You have to choose it. If it naturally produced pure joy, you wouldn’t have to consider it that way. Why? Because it is really about producing faith in you. It’s the testing of your faith. It’s producing something great. Even more radical, consider it pure joy. And pure joy is exactly what you will have in the end.

From Message #996 – How to Pass the Test
Scripture: James 1:2

Today’s Mission – Embrace the challenges that test and stretch your faith, and gain the power for the greater things God has called you to be.

The lot Principle and What it has to do With you

Friday, August 19, 2022
Proverbs says that in the casting of lots, contentions cease. But what does that mean? It means that arguments can be resolved by the casting of lots, which is like flipping a coin. Suppose you have an argument with someone that is difficult to resolve, and the two of you agree to flip a coin. If the flipped coin lands “heads up,” then whoever calls “heads” prevails in the argument. The lot principle works because all parties agree to let the final outcome be determined by the “lot” or coin toss. The original disciples actually used this method to pick the apostle to replace Judas. They trusted that the lot would reveal God’s will. This doesn’t mean you should toss a coin or cast lots over every dispute. But often we’re in conflict because we trust in our own understanding, not in God’s will. Just say, “Lord, let your will be done!” Peace will come to you and to the situation as you trust Him for the outcome He desires. Cast your lots before God, yield to His will, and have peace.

From Message #1008 – Closer Than a Brother
Scripture: Matthew 6:10

Today’s Mission – Surrender your will to God’s will. Trust Him in all things, and be at peace as His ways are the best for you.

Aiding Your Enemy

Thursday, August 18, 2022
If you’ve ever heard the story of Chanukah, you probably know that it was about a foreign power overtaking Israel and desecrating the temple. But that’s not the whole story. The real story is that long before the nation was overtaken and the temple defiled, some Israelites began imitating the ways of gentiles, brought in foreigners and collaborated with the enemy. The enemy would never have gotten into the temple if certain Israelites had not opened the doors and guided them in. The desecration of the temple happened because the High Priest guided the enemy into the Holy Place. This is profound! Your real enemy, the enemy of your soul, cannot gain victory over you unless you let him in. Every time you give into temptation and sin you are collaborating with the enemy of your soul. Why should you aid your own enemy? In God, you cannot help but win as long as you trust and obey Him. The enemy can’t stop you from doing God’s will unless you let him stop you. Stop aiding your enemy! Resist him and get back on the winning side. Do God’s will… and win!

From Message #1007 – The Collaborators
Scripture: James 4:7

Today’s Mission – Resist the temptations of this world, refuse to allow sin to enter in your heart and deny the enemy any foothold inside your soul.

Against Desecration

Wednesday, August 17, 2022
What will the end times be like? The story of Chanukah, a foreshadowing of the end times and the battle of the anti-Christ, provides a key. Chanukah centers on the desecration of the temple. But the Bible says that our human bodies are now God’s temple. So end times will be characterized by desecration, specifically desecration of the human body. We are now witnessing the selling and exploitation of sex and human sexuality, the explosion of pornography into a multi-billion dollar industry, and an increasingly blurred line between pornography and mainstream culture. People are no longer seen as sacred, but as cheap commodities to be used and abused. As end-time believers, we need to consecrate our lives, our hearts, our bodies, and our sexuality to God so there is not even a hint of immorality. Keep your eyes, your ears, and your thoughts from what is unclean. You are an end-time believer living in an age of desecration. Therefore, live sacred, think sacred, act sacred, and be sacred because you are the temple of the living God.

From Message #1006 – The Age of Desecration
Scripture: Romans 12:1-2
Today’s Mission – Dedicate your heart, mind and soul today to holy things. Continually be cleansing your thoughts and maintain purity in what you see and hear, as you are God’s holy temple

The Doer of our Deeds

Tuesday, August 16, 2022
The story of Joseph reveals him as a foreshadow of Messiah. Genesis 39:22 says, “when he was put into prison, he was made leader of it; responsible for whatever was done there.” In Hebrew it reads, whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. It’s ultimately the foreshadow of Messiah; of salvation. Messiah became the doer of our deeds. Whatever we did in sin, He became the doer of it. It was imputed to Him. It’s amazing; He became as the doer of our deeds…a perfect foreshadow. He became as the doer of our sins that we would become the doer of His righteousness. Our deeds were imputed to Him, but now His deeds can be imputed to us. Let His good deeds become your good deeds. Let His righteousness become yours. Just as your sins became His, now let His deeds of love, and His actions of compassion become yours, for He became the doer of our sins that we would become the doer of His righteousness. Let the work of Messiah come through you now. Let it be counted as yours as you do the work of the Lord.

From Message #1002 – Lord of the Dungeon
Scripture: Isaiah 61:10

Today’s Mission – Fill your day in doing the works of the Lord. Do your works in His doing and let Him do His doing in yours.

He will do What?

Monday, August 15, 2022
Psalm 37 says, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it.” It says in Hebrew, “Whuw Hoo Ya Aseh,” He will do it. It doesn’t say what He’ll do, but simply He will do it. There’s no limitation with God. If it’s in His will, He will do it. Outside His will, everything is limited. The more you are in His will, the more you commit- inside His will, the more unlimited He will show himself to you. There is no limit to what God can do. We limit God, even in our prayers. We pray, Lord, do this or do that, but He may have a better way. Instead say, not my will, but Thy will be done. He will do what? He will do whatever is needed; whatever is good. Open your faith, open your heart. Believe God for beyond what you can think. Commit your way to God, and He will do whatever is needed. He’ll do whatever He wills, and it will be good, whatever is wonderful; beyond what we can ask or imagine. Trust the Lord, open your heart and He will do it.

From Message #1001 – Commit Your Way
Scripture: Psalm 40:8

Today’s Mission – Align your will with God’s will; commit all your ways to God, and then be at peace and trust God to do even better than anything you ask for.

The Life After The Sabbath

Thursday, August 11, 2022

In Leviticus 23:10-11, it says “When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord on the morrow after the Sabbath.” This was a Hebrew holy day – Yom Ha Bikoreem, the day the first fruit was lifted up from the earth and presented to God. It could only happen after the Sabbath of Passover. Messiah rose on Sunday morning, the morrow after the Sabbath; because the resurrection only comes after the Sabbath, the Seventh Day – the day the old week ends. The Resurrection is the beginning of something new and so the power of the resurrection only kicks in after the Sabbath, after the old is finished. Do you want to walk in the power of the resurrection? Then you need to have a Sabbath – to end the old life. Then you can walk in the newness of life and the power of His rising. For the Day of New Life begins “on the morrow after the Sabbath.”

From Message #761 – The Sunday Morning Dawn
Scripture: Mark 2:27-28

Today’s Mission – Put away the things of your old life so that you can be transformed into a new life He has prepared for you. Walk in His power and His victory.

Garden of Death, Garden of Life

Wednesday, August 10, 2022

History begins in a garden; in Genesis, in the Garden of Eden. The garden from which life came. You plant life in a garden and so God planted human life in a garden. But from that garden did not come life, but sin. And from sin, came death. What does this have to do with the resurrection? Where did it take place? It took place in a garden; a garden tomb. It seems contradictory when a garden is a place of life, and a tomb is a place of death. Why a garden tomb? Because everything began in a garden. But from that garden, everything died. And so Messiah, to bring redemption, starts where it was left off. The promise of man ended with death; a garden tomb. Messiah brings new life in a garden tomb because that is redemption. The power to take the failed promise of life and bring new life. No matter how hopeless that part of your life may be – do not despair. For Messiah is the one who will bring forth life, from your garden tomb.

From Message #1170 – The Gardener
Scripture: Ephesians 1:7

Today’s Mission – Bring that hopeless part of your life, that death, that sorrow, that impossible part, to Messiah so that He will restore you from your brokenness into new life today.

The Teutonic Rabbit and The Hebrew Lamb

Tuesday, August 9, 2022

Christians around the world celebrate Easter with Easter hats, outfits, parades, services, bunnies, and Easter eggs. It has nothing to do with God. Easter comes from Teutonic mythology linked to the goddess Eostra. The rabbit is a pagan element. The eggs are linked to fertility. Yet, so many people who call themselves “Christians” celebrate the remnants of these things; Easter, a pagan holiday. Truth is, we don’t worship a bunny. We worship the Lamb. Messiah didn’t die to fulfill a pagan holiday. He died on Passover as the Passover Lamb. Passover is about a real sacrifice, freedom and redemption that transforms all of life. If you really believe in the resurrection, celebrate every day of your life by living in its radical and revolutionary power. Leave Egypt and tell Pharaoh, he has nothing on you anymore. The greatest way to celebrate the Lamb and to give Him honor is to break the chains, walk in the newness of life, and cross the Red Sea – for Messiah is no Easter Bunny. He’s the Passover Lamb!

From Message #1034 – The Easter Bunny & The Passover Lamb
Scripture: Revelation 12:11

Today’s Mission – Transform your life from the past, live in the power of the blood of the Lamb and break every chain.

The Power to Leap

Monday, August 8, 2022

You were saved on the Passover of Messiah. Messiah died on Passover and rose during the Passover Week. Your salvation is a Passover salvation. Messiah Himself is called the Passover (2 Corinthians 5). Passover comes from the Hebrew word – “Pesach” which means to pass over. It also means – to LEAP, to leap over. Therein is something wonderful. God doesn’t just want you to pass over sin, pass over temptation or pass through the darkness. He wants you to leap over it! The power of your salvation isn’t only to pass over unrighteousness but to leap over it! The same thing you do when you rejoice. We have the power to leap, overcome sin, bondage and do it with joy. How do you overcome? With all your heart. How do you live in the Passover Lamb? You leap. You leap for joy, in faith, over your problem, over your fear, over your sorrow, over your past. LEAP for God and LEAP for joy. Leap over that thing; for your salvation is Passover. Passover is Pesach, and Pesach is the power in Messiah TO LEAP!

From Message #760 – The Pesach Mystery
Scripture: John 1:29

Today’s Mission – Apply the Passover power today. When you’re confronted with that obstacle, that sin, that problem, that fear… in the power of Passover, leap over it!

Messiah’s Coming & The end of Jerusalem

Friday, August 5, 2022

“Palm Sunday” was more than just a nice holiday. Centuries before Messiah entered the city gates, the prophet Daniel was given a revelation. An exact mathematical countdown to the coming of Messiah in Daniel 9:25, “Know and understand….the issuing of the decree, to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Mashiach, Messiah, there will be seven sevens and sixty two sevens.” Palm Sunday is Daniel 9 fulfilled – Messiah coming to Jerusalem to be “cut off”; to be killed. There were two sides to Palm Sunday; the receiving and the rejection of Messiah. After Messiah’s coming, being cut off, and Jerusalem’s rejection, the city, temple, and sanctuary were destroyed by the armies of Rome. A destruction which still affects us today. There are two sides of Messiah’s coming: two possibilities and two consequences. The city and the person who receives Him is blessed; but the city and the person who rejects Him is left desolate. It is also true that we reject His presence in our lives as believers. But if you let Him in, your life shall become blessed, and full of glory.

From Message #1484 – Ha Bah: He Who Comes
Scripture: Ezekiel 36:27

Today’s Mission – Let God come into every part of your life and walk – and have His way.

The Lamb For Each

Thursday, August 4, 2022

On “Palm Sunday” crowds received Messiah into Jerusalem. Today, crowds of believers, crowd into churches to celebrate the receiving of Messiah. Palm Sunday is really an ancient Hebrew holy day. It’s the tenth of Nisan; the day that was given to receive the lamb. It’s an amazing thing that the Lamb of God entered Jerusalem on that day to be received. The original commandment for the tenth of Nisan doesn’t say that it was for crowds of people to receive the lamb. It says they were EACH to receive the lamb. That’s the key. Messiah didn’t die for crowds – He died for you – personally. That’s the only way to receive Him. Have you become just part of the crowd? Messiah did not simply die for all – He died for each – for you. He loves, not simply all – He loves each – He loves you. That’s the way you’ll find your blessing and know Him and His love. Receive Him today anew, personally, as the One who gave His life and His love for you, personally.

From Message #1588 – Bringing in Mashiach
Scripture: Exodus 12:1-6

Today’s Mission – Rejoice! For the Lamb of God has come for you. Open your heart today and receive His blessings and His everlasting love.

Exaggerating The Messiah

Wednesday, August 3, 2022

The Koran of Islam is filled with historical errors. One of those amazing errors or statements in the Koran is a statement directed at believers in Yeshua, Jesus. It says, “Oh people of the Scripture do not exaggerate in your religion, the Messiah, Jesus, Son of Mary.” The Koran calls Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah, but doesn’t understand what the Messiah is. The Messiah is the one who reconciles man to God. Messiah is the one who becomes a light to the nations. Messiah is the one who brings peace, first spiritually, then physically to the world; who will make the lion and the calf lie down together, who will usher in the Kingdom and reign upon the throne of David. Messiah is the one who redeems us for everlasting joy. So you, people of Scripture, followers of the Anointed One, the Messiah, don’t stop lifting up the Lord. You can’t speak enough about Him. You can’t praise Him enough. You can’t rejoice enough about Him. You can’t lift Him up enough. Don’t worry about exaggerating the Messiah. You couldn’t if you wanted to. He is just too great. He’s the Messiah.

From Message #984 – The Secret of Islam
Scripture: Hebrews 13:15-16

Today’s Mission – Praise Messiah all through the day, lift Him up in prayer, sing His praises with a joyful heart, share this Messiah with others; again I say, rejoice!

The Rabbis and The Stricking Man

Tuesday, August 2, 2022

The rabbis of Judaism say Jewish people can’t believe in Yeshua, Jesus, because Judaism doesn’t believe that one man can die for the sins of others. But written in an old mystical book of rabbinic Judaism by the rabbis, it says this, “When God wants to bring healing to the world, He strikes a righteous man among them with disease and sufferings. Through him He gives healing to all. As it is written, He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and by His stripes we are healed.” Even in the mystical writings of rabbinical Judaism, you can find the atonement coming through; striking a righteous man. And even though most Rabbis deny it, it says right there that Isaiah 53 is about a Redeemer dying for our sins. As it is written He died for our sins that we would be healed. It’s true, someone gave His life for you. He was wounded for your transgression. He was bruised for your iniquities. Live all out holy, completely and entirely for Him, because even the rabbis agree. Someone died for you.

From Message #983 – The Prince of Tears
Scripture: 1 John 2:1-2
Today’s Mission – Surrender yourself completely to Yeshua. Live a life worthy of the One who gave His life to make it worthy

MOUNT SINAI DISCOVERED?

Monday, August 1, 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
It is a potentially stunning discovery – and no matter what, a fascinating one. Archaeologists have claimed to have located the mountain where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.
The findings go against the traditional association of the events with the Sinai peninsula. The archaeologists believe that the event took place on the Saudi Arabian side of the Red Sea. The evidence they’ve presented is captivating.
The Biblical account records that when the Israelites approached the site, Mount Sinai was burning, smoking and on fire. The researchers identify the mountain as Jabal Maqla. The mountain is unique in being crowned by blackened peaks as if a fire had scorched it.
The Biblical account speaks of the parting of the Red Sea and the Israelites walking through its midst. The researchers believe that the most likely crossing point is a site now known as Nuweiba Beach as studies have revealed land paths beneath the water. Further they point to the evidence uncovered by Swedish scientist Lennart Moller as the remnants of a fleeing army. Further, they point to the shapes of chariots encased in the coral beneath the sea.
The Bible records that on the way to Sinai, Moses split a rock in two and from that rock gushed forth water. On the path to the mountain Jabal Maqla is a towering rock on a large hill – split down the middle. The area receives very little rainfall – but the rock and the hill on which it rests show signs of massive water erosion.
The Biblical account records that Moses built an altar of uncut stones at the bottom of Mount Sinai and there set up twelve pillars to stand for the twelve tribes of Israel. At the bottom of Jabal Maqla are the ruins of an ancient altar of uncut stones of granite. Beside the altar appear to be small ancient pillars of marble. Nine pillar have been found and several broken pieces of marble can be found scattered throughout the site.
The Bible records that when Moses came down from Sinai, he found the Israelites worshiping a golden calf they had made. Near Jabal Maqla is a stone platform that could have served as a pedestal on which an object of worship was placed (as in a golden calf). Most fascinating is what surrounds the platform – depictions of people worshiping bulls and cows. The Bible records that those who worshiped the golden calf that day were slain. Near the pedestal are signs of an ancient graveyard.
Whether or not the evidence is born out as Biblical Mount Sinai, it remains a fascinating discovery. And more important than where the law was actually given is that we keep God’s word by following it in our lives. And in a nation that has removed the Ten Commandments from its public halls, and has increasingly censored His Word, it is all the more crucial that we uphold His ways in our actions, our walks, our words, our stands, and our lives. Make that your aim this month – and may God greatly bless you as you do!

Your brother and fellow servant in
His love and service,
Jonathan

Hidden Inside The Tower

Friday, July 29, 2022

Proverbs 18:10 says “The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe.” But what does that mean? The name of the Lord is His authority, His identity, Him. To run into the name of the Lord means to get inside His identity, inside Him. During Passover, the ancient Israelites had to get inside the house with the lamb to be safe. And so it is with you. Salvation means getting your life inside His life. Get your name inside His name, your weaknesses inside His strength, your unrighteousness inside His righteousness, and your sins inside His holiness. When you run into a tower, you disappear. It’s no longer you that live, but Him. Is your life showing or is His? Is your ego showing or is He evident? If your life is still showing, it’s not safe. Get covered. Get your life, heart, emotions, sins, fears, ego, ambition, and everything else inside the Name, identity, authority and will of God. If you want to be safe, then disappear into Him. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. Run into it, and be safe.

From Message #986 – Inside the Tower
Scripture: Psalm 18:2

Today’s Mission – Get your life fully into the Tower of His Name. Submerge yourself into His name – and His name will be your strong tower.

The Serpent at The Door

Thursday, July 28, 2022

Boa constrictors enter the habitats of large mammals and coil there for days, waiting, alertly facing the entrance. Most serpents look for an opening, a hole, and wait there for the prey, sometimes for months. The enemy also is a serpent whose strategy is to seek a hole, an opening or foothold in your life. Now if you know that the enemy is seeking an opening into your life, the wise thing to do is identify that opening and close it off. The opening could be an ungodly attitude, a habit, or ungodly behavior. It may be something from your past like a hurt or a wound. It even may be unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, jealousy, idolatry, lust or a failure to trust God. It could be any entrance at all–gossip, that television show, that magazine, that internet connection, or that association that gives the enemy an opening to lie in wait to devour you. So listen, my friend, and be wise. Close the gap, seal up that hole, and shut that door once and for all. Your enemy is seeking an opening, an entrance into your life. Don’t give him one!

From Message #987 – The Serpentine Strategies
Scripture: Psalm 51:10

Today’s Mission – Inspect your “armor” today, set up hedges of protection and strengthen your defenses. Close that door to the enemy’s plans.

Join in the Joy

Wednesday, July 27, 2022

As Christians we say, make the Lord the Lord. And that’s correct. Things can only be right when the Lord is Lord. We say, make God King. That’s right too. It can only be right when God is King. But there is something else we need to do. Bach wrote a piece called Jesus, the Joy of Man’s Desire. Jesus is the delight, the joy of the universe. For things to be right in your life; He who is the universe’s joy must become the joy of your life. We are commanded to rejoice in the Lord always. When we rejoice in Him, we affirm Him as Lord and King. We also are commanded to delight ourselves in the Lord. When we delight in Him, He becomes our focus. It can only be right in our lives when the One who is the joy, the delight of the universe becomes our joy and delight. Have you made God, God of your life? Good! Have you made Him Lord and King of your life? Very Good! Now take it one step further and make the Joy of the universe the joy and delight of your life!

From Message #985 – Delight Yourself in the Lord
Scripture: Psalm 97:1

Today’s Mission – Delight yourself in the Lord and in all his ways. Let Him be the source of your joy and that’s where your focus will be.

The Issue of Under

Tuesday, July 26, 2022

Recently, the Federal Court under the Supreme Court, in the Circuit Court of Appeals, declared the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional because of the words “under God.” God is being removed from American mainstream culture, but it is more than that. It’s not just about the word “God,” it’s about the word “under.” Without God there is no under. The state becomes the final authority and everyone becomes a god. A true believer versus a false believer or a non-believer lives under God. They submit their lives to God. They don’t just talk about God; they actually live under submission to His will. When God’s will is not the same as yours, do you submit your will, under God? When your life is not in accordance with God’s Word, do you submit your life under His Word? The desire to remove the words “under God” is not good, but the real point is not simply the words “under God.” The real point is whether God’s people are actually living under God. Put “under God” in your own Pledge of Allegiance to God. Live your life as a true believer, one believer “under God.”

From Message #981 – The City on the Hill
Scripture: James 4:7-8

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim today to live a truly ‘under God’ day. Seek to do all things under God, under His will, under His purpose, under His hand and plan in your life; under God.

The Root of Goodness

Monday, July 25, 2022

Psalm 37:3 sums up a great theological truth in the New Testament “Trust in the Lord and do good”. If you don’t trust, it doesn’t matter what else you say, you are not going to be able to do good. Trust, believe, and then act on your faith. Don’t try to do good without believing, don’t try to force it. Don’t just believe without applying your faith to action. Let every work come from faith and let your faith work. There is an old hymn that goes, “Trust and obey, there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” That’s simple, but really profound. Believe the Word and then act on the Word. Trust and do good. Believe God’s love and then let it become works of love. Believe God’s promise and then act on His promise. Believe God’s mercy and then do works of mercy. The key to abundant life is simple. Believe His Word and then just do it. Keep it simple. Trust in the Lord and do good. “Trust and obey because there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.”

From Message #980 – The Fruitful Bough
Scripture: James 2:26

Today’s Mission – Today, focus on truly trusting God, more than before. Then put that faith into action.

The Priest’s Privilege

Friday, July 22, 2022

In the Old Covenant, those who ministered to God were called the kohanim, the priests. They served God, and were given access to the Holy Place behind the veil. The priests had to dwell in the secret place. Those who minister to God have to dwell in the presence of God. The more you serve Him, the more you do in the Kingdom, the more God uses you, the more you have to be dwelling in His presence, filled up, empowered. You can only minister for the Lord as you receive from Him. The Lord has opened the doors of His sanctuary to meet you, His servant, in the secret place. If you are committed to doing His will, He will open the doors to show you His glory, to fill you with His power to do His work. You are the spiritual kohanim, priests of the New Covenant. So serve the Lord with all your heart, draw near into the Holy Place where the glory, the power and the presence of God are waiting for you, His priests. Enter in the secret place, behind the veil, for that is your privilege and your access.

From Message #975 – Sailing Away
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9

Today’s Mission – Meet with God in His Holy Place today, dwell in His presence throughout the day, serve Him with the authority as a priest of God.

Hitler’s Father

Thursday, July 21, 2022

The Bible speaks of Isaac blessing Jacob, and Jacob blessing his sons. Generations of fathers bless their children. The father is supposed to bless his children, and children are to receive the blessing. The greatest evil the world has ever known was by Hitler. He was responsible for the deaths of six million Jews, and millions of others propelled into World War II. Hitler never received his father’s blessing. He was treated harshly with anger and beatings. He was a cursed man who brought a curse on the world. It’s important to receive your father’s blessing. Maybe you never did; maybe your life has been affected by it and you haven’t lived a blessed life. The good news is that you still can. If you are born again, you now have a heavenly Father and He will never refuse to give His blessing to the child He loves. You are now a beloved child of God and you can receive your Father’s blessing. So receive it; it’s time to live as a beloved child. If you want a blessed life, you need to get blessed. Be blessed…your Father is waiting to give it.

From Message #977 – Your Father’s Blessing
Scripture: Mark 10:14-16

Today’s Mission – No matter what you received or didn’t in this world – today make it your point to receive the full and unconditional blessing of your Heavenly Father.

The Eretz Secret

Wednesday, July 20, 2022

In Hebrew the word Eretz means world, land or the earth; specifically the promised land–Israel. In the sermon on the Mount, Messiah said, “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” Yeshua was quoting a Psalm, “The meek shall inherit the land,” meaning the promised land. “World” is often used in the New Testament. Eretz means both the promised land and the whole world. As believers, wherever you are in the world, in every place, you’re meant to be dwelling in the promised land. Live as if you are in the promised land, the land of promises. There is a way to dwell in His perfect will, in His blessings, in His promises and in His goodness. It doesn’t matter where you are, it’s Who you’re with that makes any place in the world the promised land. It’s good to make a pilgrimage to Israel; it’s even better to dwell in the promised land no matter where you are. Learn to dwell there all the time. For God’s children, no matter where in the world you are, you have the blessing of dwelling in the promised land.

From Message #974 – Dwell
Scripture: John 3:16

Today’s Mission – Learn the eternal secret of dwelling in Gods’ presence wherever you are. Find the center of His will today and you’ll end up living in the Promised Land, even here and now.

Revolutionary Eyes

Tuesday, July 19, 2022

Much of world history happens through revolutionaries. They never see things or accept things as they are. They see the status quo as temporary; something will change. They see defeats as temporary setbacks, their dreams, already a reality. Most believers are different; they accept the world as it is. We accept the situation, accept people as they are, resign ourselves to the darkness. But God called you to be a light to the world; to make a difference. To be a true revolutionary; to see things in a revolutionary way. Whatever the darkness, whatever the sin, it’s not the final story. Your failures are no longer failures, only setbacks. There are no more real problems for God’s people, only challenges; no more curses for you, only blessings in disguise. No more real enemies of the flesh, only people He died for. No more hopeless defeats, only victories and triumphs waiting to happen. Then your life will stop being your life; it will be a revolutionary life. It’s time to change the world, my friend… time to live like a revolutionary.

From Message #973 – Revolutionary
Scripture: Matthew 5:14-16
Today’s Mission – Put on the eyes of the revolutionary for God. Push back the darkness where you are and be the source of Gods’ light and His love for the lost

The Anti-Semite who Created a Jewish Holiday

Monday, July 18, 2022

Purim is one of the most joyous and favorite of holidays for the Jewish people. Do you know who came up with this most joyous and Jewish of holidays? Haman – the enemy of the Jewish people. He came up with the date for Purim – even with Purim itself. When Haman decided to wipe out the Jewish people, he cast lots to find the date. The lots were known as ‘the Purim.’ Purim, originated by Haman for the destruction of the Jewish people became instead the day that commemorated the destruction of Haman and his plans of evil. Profound. It is written – God works all things together for good for those who love Him. Purim is a prime example, for it bears witness that God will use all things in your life – even things that aren’t good, things set against you, problems, your enemies, and what looks like the worst things, and turn it all around for your good. Be encouraged and lift it all up to God. Your sorrows will be turned to joy, your shame to glory, and your darkest days to celebrations of redemption and joy.

From Message #1028 – The Divine Inversion
Scripture: Romans 8:28

Today’s Mission – Give God all of your burdens today; release them to God – thank Him for turning all these things for your good.

The Dimensions of the Wind

Friday, July 15, 2022

When I was in junior high, I took mechanical drawing. You had to draw the same object from three different views to obtain three different dimensions – height, width and depth. When you read the Book of Exodus, the instructions for the tabernacle are filled with dimensions- the cubits height, width and length. The Old Covenant had many dimensions because it was based up tablets. When the New Covenant came and the Spirit came on Pentecost, that very same day, there were no longer any dimensions. When you live in the flesh, you are limited by your own understanding, your abilities or your strength. The Spirit has no dimensions, no measurements, and no limits. There is no limit to His mercy or His love, or His wisdom, or His power. When you live by the Spirit, you can do all things through Messiah (Christ). Enter the dimension of the Spirit and your life will become unlimited. because the Spirit, like the wind, has no measurements.

From the Message #971 – Blowing in the Wind
Scripture: John 3:6-8

Today’s Mission – Enter into the unlimited power of the Spirit today. Let the Spirit move you past the barriers of the flesh and the limitations- to living in His limitlessness.

The Face in the Jewelry

Thursday, July 14, 2022

I knew a saint of God, Sabina Wurmbrand, the wife of Richard Wurmbrand. They were Jewish believers and leaders of the underground church in Romania. In their last days, Sabina was in a hospital in Mexico. She shared a story with us who were at her bedside. Before in Romania, before she knew the Lord, Sabina brought her jewelry to a jeweler for repair. When the jeweler, placed it in the fire, she panicked. He reassured her, “Trust me. I am a master at it.” He explained that the jewelry had to go in the fire until he sees his face in it. While in pain, she said to the Lord, “I can’t take much more.” Then the words of the jeweler resonated in her mind, “You must go through the fire, and you will be finished when I can see my face reflected in your image.” After that, she was in peace and went home to be with the Lord. When you go through your trial, there is purpose. So that God can see in your life the reflection of His glory; because you are His jewel, and He is your Master Jeweler.

From the Message #970 – THE WAY OF THE GREAT
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:7

Today’s Mission – Give yourself completely to the Master, let Him work in you through life’s trials to refine you- make it your aim to purely reflect His face to others.

The Ministry of The Prisoner

Wednesday, July 13, 2022

A believer, whose heart was to preach the gospel, was put in prison. If he knew he would reach far more people, and win far more souls to God inside the jail than outside, it would be hard for him to believe. He was more used of God inside his jail cell than out. The man was the Apostle Paul. He was in prison, and couldn’t reach anyone. So, he was forced to write. Because he wrote, he reached not thousands, not millions, but billions. Despite his circumstance, the Gospel wasn’t changed. The same for you. You might think your best days in God are over, that you can’t minister or glorify God because of that situation that’s hindering you. Remember the man in jail. There is no chain strong enough to stop the Gospel or His purposes. Don’t wait for your situation to change. Glorify Him now in your situation. Praise Him, serve Him, do His will right where you are, and you will find, like Paul, the Gospel is not bound, nor is His calling on your life. You might find that what you thought was a hindrance, was actually your greatest ministry.

From Message #951 – Upside Down Day
Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:1-2

Today’s Mission – Minister where you are today. Don’t wait for your circumstances to change; God is able to use you right where you are for His glory.

The Dark Witness

Monday, July 11, 2022

For 2,000 years the great stain of anti-Semitism has caused Jewish people to be hated, persecuted, plundered, vilified, denigrated, wounded, killed, and massacred. The greatest evil the world has ever known, namely Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich, was devoted to the destruction of the Jewish people. And yet, they have not perished; they have survived. If you take a closer look, you’ll recognize that something supernatural is happening, something unique about the Jewish people, something so special that all the forces of hell are arrayed against them. If the darkness is so great against the Jewish people, then they must be in some way greatly linked to the light. Darkness doesn’t disprove the light, it proves it. And so it is with you. Every adversity, every attack, every setback that has happened in your life should not discourage you, if you are following God. It’s a witness that God’s light is in you. He calls you “light of the world, salt of the earth, overcomer and more than a conqueror!” And it is so!

From Message #967 – THE BEAST OF A THOUSAND FACES
Scripture: Romans 12:21
Today’s Mission – The Beast of a Thousand FacesYou are called to be a witness to all people and to be the salt and light of Messiah. Let God’s light shine from within you today!

Being Their Angel

Friday, July 8, 2022

Simon Peter is in jail for his faith. He is awaiting execution and an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him inside the prison cell. The angel had good news for Peter. He is going to be free. Angels are good at bringing good news. In fact, the word angel in Hebrew malakh and angellos in Greek can be translated as the “news bringers.” They are the ones who came to the shepherds in Bethlehem and said, “I bring you good news of great joy.” In English when you say the word evangelism, in the middle of that you can find the word angel. Whenever you share the gospel by the Spirit of God, you are an angel. Whenever you help someone in the Lord and set them free from bondage, you are an angel on assignment. When you do God’s will and minister and serve, do it as an angel. Go forth as one who is sent from heaven on an angelic assignment. Rejoice, get into the joy of it. Start your angelic visitations now. It’s angelic and it’s glorious. Get started in the Great Commission on your divine mission as an angel.

From Message #964 – Angels and Outlaws
Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:2-5

Today’s Mission – Be someone’s angel today. You are on a holy assignment wherever you are. Experience the joy of serving in His name as you spread the good news.

Out of The Larva cell

Thursday, July 7, 2022

When a bee starts out in life, it does so as a larva and the new-born bee does nothing but eat. In a real short time, the bee leaves the larva stage and steps out of its cell and begins immediately helping out. No longer does it have anyone feed it, it’s helping to feed others. It goes very quickly from being ministered to ministering to others, the fellow bees. In this way, bees are a lot wiser than a lot of believers. You see, as believers, we tend to get into a mode of expecting others to minister to us and our effectiveness for God is hindered. Be free my friend. Forget about your needs, minister to the needs of others. Forget about having others love you, you love others. Forget about having others reach out to you, you reach out to others. Forget about having others bless you, you bless others. Because only then can we attain the maturity of Messiah. It’s time for maturity. It’s time to grow up and fulfill our calling and become conformed to His image. It all begins when you step out of the larva cell.

From Message #963 – The Honeycomb
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:5-7

Today’s Mission – Be the blessing to others in acts of kindness, show love, find a need and fulfill it, this is your calling to serve in His name.

He who Keeps Israel

Wednesday, July 6, 2022

In Jeremiah 31, it is written that as long as there are stars in the sky, so God will preserve the Jewish people. One of the most famous prayers in the Hebrew language is called the Shehecheyanu. It’s the prayer that thank God for preserving us, sustaining us. The Bible says the Jews are to be preserved. Not everything in the world is preserved. In fact, most things pass away, but everything in the world has gone against the Jewish people being preserved. All hell has sought to wipe them out. They wandered the earth, yet God fulfilled His Word. The Hittites are gone, the Egyptian dynasty is no more, the Babylonians have vanished, but the Jews are still here. God preserved the same people from the Bible and gathered them back to the land of Israel just as He promised. You are also of the commonwealth of Israel. So be blessed today. Be at peace. God is bigger than your problem, don’t worry what the future holds. You just have to know Him who holds the future, because He who keeps Israel is the same who holds you in His right hand.

From Message #962 – Genesis Gene
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:1-14

Today’s Mission – Do not worry about your struggles today. God is stronger, God is greater and will preserve you through all your trials.

The Supernatural Date Code

Tuesday, July 5, 2022

I typed a memo to a staff worker and sent it via the computer. She opened it a week later, but the date on the memo was the date she opened it. She thought it was by divine power that she received it on the day she needed that memo. It wasn’t by any supernatural power. I dated the letter using the date code so whenever you open it, the date will be for that day. I explained it to her and her wonder faded away. The Bible has a date code. The Bible was written thousands of years ago, but it has a supernatural date code. Every time you open the Bible, you are not reading a Word from thousands of years ago; you are reading a Word that is dated for today. The Word of God is alive and newer than today’s news. Receive the Word as if every word is dated for today, to be put into effect fresh, obeyed, followed and believed. Open the Bible today and see the fresh, living Word God has for you. Every scripture contains within it the moment you receive it, a supernatural date code.

From Message #961 – The Gumby Principle
Scripture: Hebrews 4:12

Today’s Mission – Open and read the Bible in the quiet of the day. Let God reveal His timeless Word for you in the time that you need that Word.

After The End

Monday, July 4, 2022

Messiah rose on Sunday morning and the Resurrection is the Sunday miracle. Sunday morning is the first day of the Hebrew week. It comes after the Shabbat, the Sabbath. The Sabbath is the seventh day, the end. Sunday is the day that comes after the end. That’s why He rose on Sunday. Messiah was on the cross on the Sabbath – that was the end. That’s it, He said it’s finished. Everything has ended, sin has ended, and it’s the end. So what comes after the end? New beginnings come after the end. Sunday morning and the Resurrection are so radical that they had to come on the day after the end. If you want to walk in resurrection power, you have to live in the totally new beginning power. You have to live after the end. Let the old things, old ways, old sins, angers, fears and hurts come to their end on the seventh day. Walk in the power of the miracle of the Resurrection, the power of Sunday morning and the power of the first day. The miracle will begin when you live after the end.

From Message #958 – The Beginning of Days
Scripture: Hebrews 10:10
Today’s Mission – In Messiah you are a new creation and the old you is no more. Let go of your former self today, all doubts and fears. Live in His power and begin a new day.

THE ARMY’S NEW RAINBOW CAMPAIGN

Friday, July 1, 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
The purpose of the U.S. Department of Defense is to protect American sovereignty, American interests, and American citizens. As a protective organization it has traditionally been associated with conservative values. That’s all changing.
American soldiers have increasingly been subject to a barrage of “woke” and left-wing directives, regulations, and indoctrination. Less than one month into his administration, President Biden issued a memorandum directing all U.S. departments and agencies that engage abroad or are involved in foreign aid to take up the LGBT agenda around the world.
In response to the president’s directive, the Secretary of Defense ordered the United States military to become an arm of the LGBT agenda throughout the world. The United States army’s new mission: to fight for the gay agenda in other nations.
The American army is to now fight against any intolerance for LGBTQI+ conduct. Thus it wasn’t a matter of respecting the dignity and rights of all people, it was about fighting any nation, group, or people that did not agree with gay conduct – any nation that did not endorse or celebrate homosexuality.
In past ages, America was viewed as the upholder of morality and Christian values, now it’s viewed throughout the world as a decadent nation bent on exporting its immorality to other nations. Exporting is one thing, imposing is another. But now we’re entering new territory.America is now committing itself to become the enforcer of these values around the world.
The United States military will now seek to weaken, undermine, and overturn the efforts of governments throughout the world that uphold traditional or biblical values. If any nation upholds such things; as marriage, defined as an union between a man and a woman, the American military, the American State Department, and every American soldier has been committed to fight against it, to weaken such stand, and overturn it. America is no longer the upholder of Christian civilization – now it’s engaged in a war to eradicate it. Its army has been, in effect, converted into the military wing of the LGBT agenda.
If this is the war America will now wage throughout the world, how long will it take until it wages the same war within its borders – against any and all who uphold the values of God? How does such a nation stand before God? And what will its future be?
But we are of another army, and of a higher command. And we are bound to follow the directives of our Commander, in season and out of season, when man agrees with it, or when man and kingdoms war against it. Be faithful to your first call, be strong and of good courage – and stand. And may God greatly bless you this month as you do.

Your brother and fellow servant in
His love and service,
Jonathan

Scripture: Matthew 28:20

The Name on Your sin

Thursday, June 30, 2022

The word chata’ah is Hebrew for sin. It’s not just the word for sin; it is also the name of the sin-offering, the sacrifice that takes away sin. It’s a shadow of Messiah, He is the sin-offering, He became sin for us. The sin and the sacrifice that takes away sin are so closely bound they become one. That’s the mystery of Messiah on the cross. He is the sacrifice for sin, becoming sin for us, receiving our sins. By that we are free from sin. The word for sin and the word for the offering of sin are the same. That means your sin has the name of Jesus on it. Every one of your sins are covered by His name, but you have to give them to Him. Money has Caesar’s name on it, so render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. Sin has Messiah’s name on it, so render unto Messiah, God, the things that are God’s. Don’t get lost in condemnation. Your sin is covered, it has His name on it, it’s paid for, it’s His, only give it to Him. Your sin is called chata’ah, but so was Messiah.

From Message #957 – The Vow
Scripture: 1 Peter 3:18

Today’s Mission – Surrender your sin whatever its name is; release it to Messiah under the blood of the Lamb.

Why The Fight?

Wednesday, June 29, 2022

For most of the last 2,000 years, with a few short exceptions, few have cared about Jerusalem. In the twentieth century the whole world is wrapped up in it. For 2,000 years Jerusalem was largely a backwater of history. In the nineteenth century it was a flea-bitten, diseased place in the middle of nowhere. Then in twentieth century, everyone wanted Jerusalem-Jordan, Egypt, the Palestinians, the United Nations, the Vatican, and Osama Bin Laden. Why the sudden change? In the twentieth century the Jews came back to their land, and have a date with God. Jerusalem is linked to the second coming and all hell has broken loose against this return. Remember this principle throughout your life. If you find yourself under attack and you are doing the Lord’s will, don’t lose heart and don’t be discouraged. The fight is significant and worth it and the victory will be important. Do as the Jewish people have done. Fight for the victory, fight all hell, and press on against all odds, because when all hell is against you, it’s a good sign. It means all heaven is for you, and you are heading to Jerusalem.

From Message #956 – Jerusalem Mess
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:12

Today’s Mission – Fight for spiritual victory over your struggles today. Do all you can to not be moved and press on while you are under attack; for He fights for you, so stand.

It’s Only Snow

Tuesday, June 28, 2022

Psalm 37 says “don’t fret.” A secret of abundant life is to not worry. A man I knew with a heart condition, went out to shovel snow, had a heart attack and died. Many people die shoveling snow. Yet in a few days it’s all gone anyway. It’s just temporary, so why die from it? It’s going to melt anyway. But we burden ourselves with snow shoveling every day. Even in summer. The enemy is always dishing out problems, issues, burdens, dangers, threats, irritations. They take away our peace and joy; maybe even our well-being in God. It’s like the one who burdened himself with shoveling snow. These problems in the end are only snow. They are temporary arrangements. They are going to melt. It looks real, but in the end, for the child of God, it’s only snow. So don’t panic, don’t react, don’t lose your peace, don’t get all wrapped up in that snow. In a short time it’s going to melt. That problem will melt away, so don’t let it kill you. Give it to God; it’s going to melt anyway. Remember, God remains, but that problem is only snow.

From Message #955 – Fret Busting
Scripture: Matthew 6:25

Today’s Mission – Throw off your burdens and worries and give them all to God. Pray for His eternal peace to be on you unto everlasting.

Apply This

Monday, June 27, 2022

You probably attend worship services regularly, and hear a message or sermon every week. You may even listen to Christian radio daily. With so many ways to enjoy the Word of God, it’s very easy for us to develop a consumer mentality that affects our faith, walk and causes us to treat the Word of God as something to be consumed. We sit in services as if we are sitting at a football game, or in front of a television. Consumerism causes us to focus on our feelings. We may feel good, spiritual, righteous, or like we have done our part, but the Word is a seed designed to produce fruit, not feelings! The book of James tells us not only to be hearers of the Word, but doers also. The Word can bring about the changes needed to produce fruit in your life. But the Word only bears fruit when it’s applied to your heart and life. So resolve to put into action what you’ve already heard. Be a doer of the Word today, be good soil, and let the Word bear fruit. And continue to grow in God, that your fruit may remain.

From Message #949 – Twenty-one Missions
Scripture: James 1:22-25

Today’s Mission – Apply the Holy Word to your life today, just as a seed grows to produce its fruit, so let the fruit of the Spirit to cause you do great things in His name.

Past The Flesh

Wednesday, June 22, 2022

In Ephesians 2:2, it says, “When in times past, you walked according to the course of this world.” It’s interesting, the key is, times past, when you walked in the flesh. In Messiah, the flesh is past, He is finished with the flesh. He finished it at Calvary, so also for the child of God. To live in the flesh is to live in the past. To live in the past is to live among the dead. To live in the past is to live in a realm where nothing can be changed. Live in the Spirit. Those who are led by the Spirit walk in the newness of life. The Spirit is present and now. The only way you can live in the Spirit is to count the flesh as old. In the past, we walked according to the course of this world. But now we walk in the Spirit and newness of life. Say goodbye to the flesh and say hello to the Spirit because that’s what is going to happen when you are done with the past. You will be new in the Spirit.

From Message #1210 – The Sarcophagus
Scripture: 1 Peter 4:2-3

Today’s Mission – Walk away from the things of the flesh, the old you. Instead be walking in the power of the Holy Spirit because you are a new creation now.

Blessing The Blesser

Tuesday, June 21, 2022

In the Book of Acts, Paul was sent to Jerusalem with a gift for the Jerusalem believers. The gift was from the gentile church to the Jewish people. The gentile congregations particularly wanted to bless the Jewish believers of Jerusalem. Jerusalem was the mother church, the first Messianic congregation or synagogue. The church has an obligation to bless the Jewish people because it was the Jewish people who gave the gospel to the world. All the blessings you have in God came through Israel to you. So you need to bless the Jewish people with salvation. Bless the children of Abraham. Bless the Jewish believers, but also bless the Jewish people who don’t have salvation. The promise is that all who bless the Jewish people will be blessed. God wants you to bless Him, please Him. It’s a radical concept, but bless the Lord. We don’t realize what it means, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, bless the Lord.” You can actually bless Him. That’s a great thing and He will be blessed. Do something to bless the Lord today, for His sake, for His blessing. Bless the Lord today. Make your Father smile.

From Message #944 – Blessing Naomi
Scripture: Genesis 12:3

Today’s Mission – Look for how many ways to bless Israel and the Jewish people. Pray for them. Give to the purposes of their salvation. You will be blessed!

The Crash Course

The Logos Reason

Monday, June 20, 2022

Messiah is called the Word, but in Greek, the word “word” is “logos.” That’s significant because “logos” doesn’t just mean “word,” it also means “the reason.” What it means is He is not just the Word, He is the reason for existence, He is the reason for the universe, He, as Messiah, is the reason for everything. Before there was anything, there was the reason and from this came everything. So it also means that without Him, without the Logos, there is no reason. That’s why if you don’t have Him in your life, there is no reason for life. The universe exists because of the Logos, the reason, so your life, too. It will never be right. It will always be empty until He is again the center and the reason for your life. Do you want your life to have reason and purpose? Let Him become the reason. Let Messiah become the Logos; the reason for your walk, the reason why you speak, the reason why you do everything you do, the reason you get up, the reason you work. Make Him the reason of everything.

From Message #943 – The Rainbow Prince
Scripture: Ephesians 2:11-13

Today’s Mission – Before you do anything today, start with the Logos, the Word, Messiah. Let Him be the reason and impulse you do everything.

Friday, June 17, 2022

God’s Word tells us what to do when adversity comes. Rejoice! Rejoice in adversity! In 2 Corinthians 8, Paul says that the sign of God’s grace to the Macedonian churches during their most severe trials was this: they had overflowing joy! They rejoiced in adversity! Now I realize that when you are going through tough times, it is hard to rejoice. It’s hard to rejoice when the IRS audits you. It’s hard to rejoice when you lose your job. But the Bible says to rejoice in all things and consider it pure joy. It is hard to do like walking through deep snow. But when you come out of it, walking is a breeze, a joy. It’s as if you have more power than you ever did. It’s the same with rejoicing in trouble which causes you to grow stronger. Adversity is like a crash course in growing in the Lord. It’s intensive training that’s more powerful than a sermon. So today rejoice in the hard times. Rejoice so that when the hard times are over, you will have more strength and more faith. And your faith and your joy will overcome the world.

From Message #947 – Cool Under Fire
Scripture: James 1:2-4

Today’s Mission – Any adversity in your life today is an exercise in pure faith. Draw even closer to the Lord and know He is in control of all things, so stand strong and rejoice.

Stopping The Curser

Thursday, June 16, 2022

Can someone put you under a curse? Can someone practicing witchcraft put a curse on your life even if you are a believer? The answer is yes, but it’s not someone practicing witchcraft or even the evil one. The person who can put a curse on your life is– you! Remember Balaam who tried to curse Israel, but couldn’t? Yet a curse came upon Israel, but not from the outside, but from Israel itself. When Israel turned away from God and to sin, they were cursed. Likewise, if you live in sin or in bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, self-centeredness, pride, anxiety, fear, hatred, worldliness or carnality, then you are already putting a curse on your life. So stop any curse by dealing with the real culprit–you! Renounce the sin, the bitterness, the unforgiveness or anything else and turn back to God. In God there is only blessing. If you dwell in Him, and walk in His light, every weapon formed against you shall not prosper, and will come to nothing. For God is greater than the enemy, and the blessings of salvation are stronger than any curse.

From Message #946 – Breaking the Curse
Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Today’s Mission – Break away from any unforgiveness, selfish or sinful ways in your life today. Dwell in God’s shining glory. Break the curse and receive His blessings on you.

Achilles

Wednesday, June 15, 2022

Have you ever heard of the expression “Achilles heel”? It comes from an ancient Greek epic concerning the city of Troy and a warrior named Achilles. According to legend, when Achilles was a child his mother dipped him in the River Styx to make him invulnerable. But one part of his body couldn’t be dipped, and therefore remained vulnerable, the heel by which his mother held him. Achilles went on to become a fierce and seemingly immortal soldier. But he was killed when an arrow struck him in the heel. So the phrase “Achilles heel” describes an area of weakness or vulnerability. Like Achilles, no matter how strong you are, you will still have areas of weakness. Do you want to stand and not fall? Then you must operate in strength, yet recognize your weakness through the Lord’s grace. Be humble, acknowledge your weakness, and commit it to God. Keep watch, close the gaps, and establish hedges in your life so you will never be caught exposed or subject to the enemy’s arrows. Remember, God’s strength is stronger than your weakness, and His grace will be your armor to cover your Achilles heel.

From Message #945 – Your Achilles Heel
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9

Today’s Mission – Look at your life and find those places where the enemy could creep in. Repair weakened defenses and commit your fight in God’s hands. Do all you can to stand.

Pile of Dung

Tuesday, June 14, 2022

The enemy is called Baal-zebub or Baal-sebul. In Hebrew, Baal means “lord” or “master” and “baal-zebul” bluntly means dung; lord of the dung heap. Satan means “master of the pile of waste.” What’s more derogatory than that? The Hebrews spoke with contempt when it came to the gods, the devil, sin, or evil. We need to do the same. We are to love others, but hate the sin. The more we hate sin, the less we’ll be ensnared by it. The enemy is the lord of the dung heap, and all his ways are as dung. They might look good at first, but they end up being a dung heap. When you indulge in sin, you end up in a pile of dung. So don’t respect sin or the enemy. See that temptation for what it really is, not a pleasure, not a thrill, not a joy, but something filthy, base, disgusting and defiling. Hate sin, adultery, lust, selfishness, pride. Have nothing to do with it. When you see the enemy’s temptations as they really are, you will spurn him and turn them down. You will avoid that sin like a pile of dung.

From Message #937 – The God of a Thousand Faces
Scripture: Hebrews 11:24-25

Today’s Mission – You will be tempted today; see it for what it really is, as a trap to separate you from God. Don’t even go near it but avoid sin just like that stinking pile of dung.

The Feelings of Zeus

Monday, June 13, 2022

Hannukah is the war between God and Zeus, a Greek god, whose statue defiled the temple. There’s a difference between Zeus and Jehovah. Zeus was an idol. The Lord is not an idol. His worship is spiritual, of the Spirit. Hannukah is uniquely linked to the end times, a war between the carnal and the spiritual; the way of Zeus versus the way of Jehovah. Zeus is of feeling, so the end time culture focuses on the sensual. If it feels good, do it. Unfortunately, this has seeped into God’s people and God’s house. Believers are told to go by feeling, but it’s not the way of God, it’s the way of Zeus. Feelings aren’t bad, but they must never lead faith, only follow. We don’t go by feeling. We follow God who is beyond the sensual. We are called to know God, not to feel God. God’s people live by faith, not by sight. They know Him, whether they feel Him or not. They praise Him when they don’t feel like it; stand strong when they don’t feel it. Know it, believe it, stand in it. You are not of Zeus; you are of Jehovah.

From Message #936 – Zeus and Jehovah
Scripture: John 4:24

Today’s Mission – There is a war going on for your soul today. Live by faith, not by feeling or sight. Stand in the fight and pray without ceasing. Know the sound of the Master’s voice.

The Sailboat Principle

Friday, June 10, 2022

The first time my father and I tried sailing a sailboat, the instructor gave us directions. He said that we couldn’t keep the sail in just one position; we’d have to adjust it continuously. We didn’t so we ended up in the water with a turned-over sailboat. When sailing, even if you are only 5 degrees to the right or left, you will be soon completely off course and eventually totally lost. So it is in life and with the Lord. The Bible says to examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. You can’t just commit your life to the Lord yet never check to see if your life and your heart are still on course. It’s easy to go off a few degrees to the right or left. Are you off a few degrees from prayer, from the Word, from the joy of the Lord, or from your first love in God? Then it’s time to adjust and correct your course. Renew your love and your devotion to Him every day. Continually refocus and concentrate your journey on Him. Then you’ll stay the course and not become lost or shipwrecked.

From Message #932 – Fat on the Bones
Scripture: Hebrews 12:1-2

Today’s Mission – Check your bearings today. Are you on course or off course. Adjust whatever needs to be adjusted and sail ahead.

The Spirit Graduates

Thursday, June 9, 2022

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came. Why then? One reason is because the disciples were at a crossroads. Their discipleship was over, they finished the course, their teacher was gone, and it was time to go forth and disciple. They had been taught; now they were to become teachers. They watched Messiah perform miracles; now they were to perform miracles by His power. They listened as Messiah spoke and operated as the representative of God; now they were to speak and represent God by His power. They watched Messiah minister; now they were to become ministers. But how were they to do all this? Through His Spirit. The Spirit came so they could graduate from observing to doing. Do you want to walk in the power of the Spirit in your life? Stop expecting others to minister to you, and start ministering. Stop waiting on others to bless you and become a blessing. Take the reins of your calling and set your heart on attaining maturity in Messiah. Be ready to graduate and do the work of Messiah. Then He will send His Spirit, anoint you, and give you His power.

From Message #905 – When He is Come I
Scripture: Ephesians 4:13

Today’s Mission – Start your day by being in the presence of the Lord and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Minister to others, find the need where He leads you and be the blessing.

The Devil’s Fear

Wednesday, June 8, 2022

The devil, satan, is real. This was the hardest thing to believe when I first came to the Lord. Yet when you consider Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust, and Hitler’s obsession with destroying the Jewish people, no words less than satanic can describe it. Hitler was a man possessed and used by satan; one who spoke the enemy’s words. The truth is, that Hitler was afraid of the Jewish people. Though the enemy goes about as a roaring lion to destroy God’s ancient people Israel, he is actually scared of them because from them came Messiah, and from them will come the Kingdom. He is scared of you too if you are a born-again child of God who walks according to God’s will. The enemy is afraid of you because you have the power to defeat him and to undo his work. So if you are receiving special opposition from the enemy and going through tough times, praise God! Take all that opposition and all the troubles you are going through as encouragement to press ahead in the will and the power of Messiah. And give the devil even more to fear.

From Message #861 – In Cold Blood: Snake Busters I
Scripture: 1 John 4:4

Today’s Mission – Persevere through your struggles today, punch through, push through and be encouraged that the battle is the Lord’s and the victory has already been won!

The Power of up

Tuesday, June 7, 2022

No matter where you are or what you are doing, you have to deal with gravity every moment of your life. Gravity has a job and that is to hold you down. Just look at your body. As you age, your body becomes a graphic display of the laws of gravity. You look in the mirror and everything is a few inches lower than it used to be. Your face, your stomach, it’s all heading south of the border and you can’t even see the border any more. Messiah is the opposite. Messiah rose! And the power of Messiah and of salvation is the power to rise. In Messiah, you have the power to rise and to go against the way the flesh pulls. In Messiah, you no longer have to be oppressed, suppressed or depressed. So stop being dragged down, pulled down, pushed down, knocked down and kept down. Messiah rose and you can do the same. The law of gravity and of the flesh cannot stand against the power of Messiah. Nor can anything or anyone hold you down if you will live in the power of His rising.

From Message #858 – Rise Up
Scripture: Luke 24:6-7

Today’s Mission – Declare victory over your problems and temptations. You are free to rise in the power and love of Messiah.

The Mystery of The Moreh and The Malkosh

Monday, June 6, 2022

In Israel, there are rains called the former and latter rains. One in the spring, the Moreh and the other in the fall, the Malkosh. In the Bible, rain is often used as the symbol of the Spirit. The Spirit was poured out upon Israel 2,000 years ago on the Day of Pentecost. At that time, Peter quoted from the Book of Joel about the outpouring. In Israel there’s not just one outpouring, there’s a second, the latter rain. Pentecost was the Moreh, the early rain. There’s another rain coming, the Malkosh. The outpouring always comes to Israel, when the Jewish people repent. The first rain came on Pentecost with 120 Jewish believers. It changed the world. How much more will the outpouring of the last days of the Malkosh touch the world when the Jewish people return to God. Never stop praying for the salvation of the Jewish people. It’s in their repentance that the rain of the Spirit comes. Remember this in your own life. It’s after you repent that the rains of blessing will be poured out upon your life. Repent, and He will pour out upon your life the waters of the Malkosh.

From Message #850 – The Mystery of the Malkosh
Scripture: Joel 2:23

Today’s Mission – Change your world today. Start by praying for every Jewish man, woman and child to proclaim. Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

How to Have a Year of God’s Favor

Friday, June 3, 2022

What kind of a year will this New Year be for you? When Messiah began His ministry, He went to the synagogue and read from Isaiah 61, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, for He has anointed me to preach the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” What was it about the year that has to do with Messiah’s ministry? When He comes to fulfill the Scripture, it will be the year of the Lord’s favor. Every year He ministers is the “year of the Lord’s favor.” The word in Hebrew is RATZONE meaning favor, will, pleasure and satisfaction. The year that the Lord wills, takes pleasure in, and is satisfied with is to proclaim this year for His people. Consecrate this year and commit every part of your life to HIS WILL. And Messiah will give you the anointing to live it. It will become the Year of Ratzone, the Year of the Lord’s Favor … on you!

From Message #1225 – A Year of Joy
Scripture: Psalm 84:11

Today’s Mission – Today, seek the favor of God. Commit this year and your life to His will and to always live in His ways.

Surrounded in Nigeria

Thursday, June 2, 2022

We had a flat tire in Nigeria at night and the driver left me in the car alone to get help. I was surrounded by a gang-like crowd of Nigerian men. One of them said, “You look like a Hebrew. We are Muslims. What do you think of Mohammed?” I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, surrounded by Muslim men, and I need to tell them what I think of Mohammed. I asked God what to say? I said, “Mohammed says that Jesus is the Messiah and Islam says that Jesus is coming back to reign over the world. So then you must listen to Jesus. He says ‘you must be born again!'” I expected that to be my last sermon, but they listened. Before I left, the leader asked me to pray for them. They all bowed their heads and I prayed that they would come to the knowledge of salvation and become born again. I prejudged them as being closed to the gospel. I could have gone with that, held back and hoped to stay alive. How can they come if they do not hear? Keep sharing! He is your hope and their hope, too.

From Message #942 – The Nigerian Miracle
Scripture: Luke 21:15

Today’s Mission – The battle is the Lord’s. Do not fear the appearance of evil but be bold in sharing the Gospel to those who more desperately need to hear it. Angelic armies are surrounding you!

THE RETURN OF DR. MENGELE

Wednesday, June 1, 2022
Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…

A recent expose revealed that the federal government has not only been experimenting on unborn children but has been involved in purchasing fresh flesh of aborted babies – late term – babies who could have survived as preemies.

The 600-page report reveals that the U.S. government has been trafficking in fresh baby parts. The body parts were purchased by the Food and Drug Administration. The babies were up to 24-weeks old (six months old) with only one third of the gestation period left to birth.

Records indicate that the government paid up to $12,000 of tax payers’ money per baby.

The records further reveal that organs were purchased of babies well after 20 weeks old – from babies that will usually survive outside the womb. Further, e-mail communications obtained for the report reveal that those performing the experiments could not use babies that had been poisoned or injected with chemicals. Therefore, it can be presumed that the preference and focus was on children killed by the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion.

And what was the purpose for such a horrific practice? It was to test drugs and to perform experiments to humanize mice.

To counter such practices, President Trump enacted strict rules concerning any proposed research using human fetal tissue obtained from elective abortions. All such proposals were to be reviewed by an Ethics Advisory Board.

But in the early days of the new administration, President Biden axed the limits and safeguards and ethical reviews enacted by President Trump. The government declared there were no ethical issues involved with the experimentation on and trafficking of human baby parts. There would be no more ethical boards to review future proposals. All such proposals would receive a green light to proceed.

This is all in line with the agenda of the present administration and a newly radicalized Democratic party to remove all limitations and restraints on the killing of the unborn, to expand the practice, and to strike down the laws preventing tax payer dollars from funding it.

What you have just read is the kind of thing we might expect to read in a book detailing the experiments performed at Auschwitz by Dr. Mengele among other Nazi doctors performing gruesome experiments in concentration camps. It is not the kind of thing we expect to be enabled, supported, participated in, and performed by the United States government. To anyone with a conscience, all the more to any born again child of God, it should produce outrage. And the fact that such barbarically gruesome acts are being funded by your taxes should, at the very least, produce protest and action to overturn such ungodly decrees.

Pray for the weak and most defenseless among us. Do whatever you can to oppose death, to bring life, and to save those who are perishing, both physically and spiritually. And may God greatly bless you this month as you do!

The Mystery of The Ma ‘Arav

Tuesday, May 31, 2022

Micah prophesied that, “one will go forth from you Bethlehem, whose origins are from old, from ancient times.” The Hebrew word for ancient times is kadem, which also means the east or the sunrise. Messiah’s origins are from the sunrise. He is the Light of the world. If He is from the sunrise, then His destination would be the place of the sunset or the west, which in Hebrew is the ma ‘arav, the sunset place, the going down. Messiah’s destination was the cross. Where was the crucifixion? It was to the west, the ma’arav of the city. When did He die on the cross? He died as the sun was setting, the ma’arav of the day. In fact, there was a temple sacrifice called the ma’arav, or the sunset sacrifice that was offered up at three o’clock in the afternoon. Messiah died at three o’clock. Thank God that Messiah is the ma’arav, the sunset sacrifice. This means that the sun has gone down on your sins, your old life, your past, even today’s sins. So be finished with your old life because Messiah, your ma’arav, has come.

From Message #846 – The Mystery of the Kedem
Scripture: Ephesians 4:22-23

Today’s Mission – Live by the power of the Ma’arav, Messiah’s sunset – the ending. Break away from your old life, today. You are a new creation in Messiah. Your old life is under His blood.

Master of The Magi

Monday, May 30, 2022

The Magi were from Persia, considered wise men, priests, astrologers. Astrology is condemned in Scripture. God could use anything to speak to them, but why could they connect a star to a Jewish child born as Savior? When Nebuchadnezzar began taking Jewish people captive to Babylon, among the first captives was Daniel. Daniel correctly interpreted the king’s dream and was made chief over all the wise men. When Persia took over Babylon, Daniel retained that position. The wise men of Persia were the MAGI, and Daniel was the Hebrew prophet given the exact timetable to the coming of Messiah. He wrote this prophecy down in Babylon, Persia. While master of the magi, it’s not unlikely that the magi would be aware of this and be waiting for the prophecy to come true. The Magi were pagans, yet because they searched for Him they found Him. We could learn a lot from them. God wants you to seek Him. He promises if you do, you will find Him. For those who seek and keep seeking shall find. Their footsteps shall be led to the exact and perfect place.

From Message #190 – The Journey of the Magi
Scripture: Deuteronomy 4:29
Today’s Mission – Today, seek first the Lord and spend time in His presence, let Him lead you to His perfect plan for you

The Action Test

Friday, May 27, 2022

If you ask some believers how they are doing, they will say, well, I am going through a test. It’s a testing time now in my life. But in school we took tests and we didn’t like them much then either. The point of tests were that you could show what you learned. It was time to apply the knowledge of the skills you acquired since you took the last test. Or, to put into action what you learned. It’s just like Messiah, who had to leave for His disciples to really learn how to walk themselves. It’s one thing to walk or to hear how to walk, but it is another thing to actually do the walking. So the next time you find yourself going through a test, don’t despise it. Don’t say, “I am going through a test.” Say, “I am taking a test! It’s my chance to apply what I have from God.” Praise God! I am going to pass it. Apply what you have learned. Apply the love and the faith. Take the test with joy and zeal and you will pass it, and you will graduate.

From Message #839 – The Test of the Beloved
Scripture: Exodus 20:20

Today’s Mission – Take every problem, challenge, obstacle, and attack that comes your way as a test by which to demonstrate who you are in the Lord. Apply His teachings and praise God all the way through.

The Detour Leader

Thursday, May 26, 2022

Have you ever been driving on a trip and had to take a detour? You are not really sure where to go, but you follow the detour. Then other people start following you because they think you know where you are going. Now you are under pressure, because it’s bad enough being lost, but now you have followers while being lost. So in the spiritual realm, what are you really following? Are you really following the Lord first in all things – or your pleasures; or the pursuit of status, or entertainment; or experiences; or happiness; or power; or selfish ambition; or money? If you are following any one of these things, if it is not the Lord, then you are following something that can’t lead, like following a blind leader; a leader who is lost. Stop following those impulses, they will only lead you into the pit. Follow the only one who really knows where he is going and knows how to lead your life for blessing, Messiah your true Rabbi and Teacher, and you will never be lost.

From Message #828 – The Blind Rabbi
Scripture: Matthew 15:13-14

Today’s Mission – Ask yourself today, are you pursuing things for yourself or God? Stop striving for works of the flesh. Instead concentrate on holy things that never fade and He will bless you.

The Pagan Temple of Jerusalem

Wednesday, May 25, 2022

Chanukah is the story of a pagan temple dedicated to the Greek god Zeus, full of ungodliness, idolatry. There were many pagan temples in ancient times but this pagan temple was different. It was made to be the Temple of God. Its walls and courts were made for pure worship, its holy place for the flame of God, its holy of holies for His presence. It was as a Temple with amnesia, as if it had been made for sin with the Temple of God underneath it. We’ve lived much of our lives as pagan temples, giving ourselves to ungodliness as if it were natural to be a vessel of sin. You were created to be the very Temple of God, for holiness. Your mind was created to know the pure thoughts of God, your heart to worship Him, your life to serve and glorify His name. Give yourself no more to that which has no place in the chambers of the Holy Temple of God. You are the Temple of the Living God. Remove darkness from your midst and be filled with the presence of the Living God, for whose glory you were created.

From Message #201 – Rededication-Chanukah
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:19

Today’s Mission – Today, sanctify your mind and heart, set it apart and let no sin dwell within you that separates you from His Holy presence.

Messiah The Shamash

Tuesday, May 24, 2022

There’s a mystery concerning the ninth candle on the Chanukah menorah. The Chanukah menorah has eight candles, each candle representing one of the eight days of Chanukah. Then there’s a ninth candle called the ‘shamash.’ ‘Shamash’ in Hebrew means ‘the servant.’ The shamash candle is the light that lights up all the other candles. Messiah is called the servant of the Lord. Yeshua, Jesus, said ‘I am the Light of the world.’ He’s the shamash, the servant of the Lord, and the light that gives light to our lives. If you follow Jesus, then you must be like Him – a servant of the Lord. Live seeking to do His will above your own and rejoicing in the joy of doing it. Those who serve the Lord will be filled with light, just as the servant candle is filled with light, just as Messiah is the light – called not only to shine, but to light up the lives of others, to set aflame those who dwell in darkness. Serve the Lord with all your heart and you will shine with the light that lights up the darkness. For you, in Messiah, are the shamash.

From Message #666 – The Joy of the Shamash
Scripture: Matthew 5:16

Today’s Mission – Seek out God’s will for you today. Find the joy in serving others and be the source of Light in your part of the world.

Bright as the sun

Monday, May 23, 2022

In Song of Solomon 6:10, it says, “Who is this that appears like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun?” Messiah says that God causes His sun to rise, and it shines on the just and the unjust, so we have to be like God who does that. What does it mean, to be bright as the sun? It is speaking of the bride. We are to be a bit more like the sun. The sun is bright because it just shines. Its light is independent from the circumstance, sovereign in a sense from its circumstance. Be as bright as the sun. You need to shine. You are the light of the world. You can’t shine because people love you, or you can’t stop shining because they don’t. You have to shine on those who don’t, those who hate you, those who persecute you, in good times and in bad times, because that’s who you are. You are the light of the world, and if you stop shining, you cease to live. You must shine. Be as bright as the sun.

From Message #821 – The Dawn, the Moon & the Sun
Scripture: Isaiah 58:8

Today’s Mission – Shine brightly for God today. Let your light so shine that people will have no doubt the presence of the Lord is within you.

The Valley of Barakhah

Friday, May 20, 2022

Some believers are always in a valley. You ask them, “how are you doing?” They are depressed, defeated, or sad. Maybe you are in one right now, but there is a scripture in 2 Chronicles 20. It says on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Barakhah, where they praised the Lord. Barakhah in Hebrew means “blessing” or “praise.” The valley was not first called Barakhah, but when they blessed it, it became the Valley of Barakhah, the Valley of Blessing. They praised God there, so it became the Valley of Praise. Valleys are not to be feared. You can be on a mountain of curses or a valley of blessings. You have the power to turn your valley into a Barakhah Valley by praising the Lord. You have the power to transform your valley into blessing. Start praising God in it, start blessing God, start thanking Him. Start giving Him praise where you are, whatever it is. It does not matter if you are on the mountain, or in the valley. If you praise God, the valley you will be in will be the Valley of Barakhah, the Valley of Blessing.

From Message #818 – The Jehoshaphat Guide to Victory II
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:13

Today’s Mission – Today, claim victory through the Lord your God. Declare His blessings on you. It does not matter your situation. Praise Him anyway.

Our Eyes are on you

Thursday, May 19, 2022

Jehoshaphat had the armies of Moab, Ammon and others coming against him. He did not know what to do. He cried out to God and said, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on YOU!” He did not say our eyes are on the army, or our eyes are on the house payment. He said, “Our eyes are on YOU!” The problem is never to be the focus of the prayer. It is what got you praying, but it is not the point. Problems are used for good. They are never ends in themselves; they are just a launching pad of prayer. We are to lift them up, but the focus has to be God. God uses these things so that we will come to Him. He does not want us to figure everything out, but trust Him. Salvation is not about your problems, it is about God’s answer. You have problems. Jehoshaphat had more, but the answer from God is greater than the problems. Let go of the problem. Say, “Lord, I do not know what to do, but my eyes are on YOU!”

From Message #817 – The Jehoshaphat Guide to Victory I
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

Today’s Mission – Today, look away from your problem and to the Lord. Become less problem-oriented – and more answer-oriented.

The Eastern Apathy

Wednesday, May 18, 2022

In Eastern religion and philosophy, Hinduism, Buddhism and New Age teaching, the goal is detachment. The self is God, so the individual selfhood is an illusion. The key is to detach from this illusion, from care, passion and desire. Behind the flowery talk in Eastern religion, is apathy and detachment. In India, you will find the fruit of all this, which is misery. Many believers in Messiah live as if they are believers in apathy instead of the gospel. They live lives apathetic about serving the Lord detached from the poor, the hungry, and those needing salvation. God is the opposite of apathy, which means to be without passion. God got so involved in the world He became one of us. He was passionate about loving you, saving you and dying for you. If you belong to Him, renounce this apathy. Get passion into your life, your walk, your faith, your service and into your heart. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, spread the gospel, touch, care, and love, because your God is passionate about you. And the only way to respond is to live a life of passion for Him.

From Message #815 – The Brahman’s Dream
Scripture: Matt. 25:34-36

Today’s Mission – Renew your passion in your walk with God, focus on those who need to experience His love today. Reach out with a servant’s heart.

Shut That Mouth!

Tuesday, May 17, 2022

We think of possession as in the Exorcist, a movie about a girl whose head spins around, or of the guy who lives in tombs and scares people. There’s another kind of possession that’s just as real. The kind that takes place even with believers when we give the enemy a place in our lives by acting with sinful motives, or speaking words of destruction; gossip. Then the enemy can spread destruction, not only in us, but through us. We offer ourselves to be used for the enemy’s purposes when we allow ourselves to be controlled by bitterness, pride, and selfishness. Peter loved God, but he allowed himself to be used by the enemy. He rebuked Messiah and told him not to go to Jerusalem. Messiah said, “Get behind me Satan.” When we allow ourselves to be used by the enemy to tear down, hinder, discourage, or harm, we’re allowing ourselves to be possessed for his purposes. It’s not just people whose head spins around, it’s when you let yourself be used. Reject the slightest hint of possession. Be moved only by the Spirit; you are God’s possession.

From Message #814 – The Dragon’s Mouth
Scripture: Psalm 141:3-4

Today’s Mission – Guard your mouth today, let it speak of uplifting and of praise, allow the Holy Spirit to move through you.

The Anxiety Antidote

Monday, May 16, 2022

God’s word tells us not to worry. You try to stop worrying, but you keep thinking about it. Someone will say worry is a sin; you don’t have any faith. Then you become more worried. Before you just worried about paying the bills, now you’re worried about paying the bills and going to hell. How do you stop worrying? If the problem causes you to worry, what is the antidote? The antidote is the answer. Don’t dwell on the problem, but dwell on the answer. You have to choose to stop thinking about those things that take away your peace and joy. Start dwelling on the answer that gives you peace and joy; on the good news, the Word, the Good Shepherd who’s in charge of your life and who loves you, on the Gospel, on Messiah, on God. Whenever you’re getting caught up in worry, let that be your cue to start getting caught up in God – the Gospel, His joy, His faithfulness, His love. Philippians 4:8 reads, “Let your mind dwell on these things, and the peace of God will guard your heart and mind, and take away your worry.”

From Message #812 – The Immanuel Solution
Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:8

Today’s Mission – Today, let God do the heavy lifting and let God take the burden from you, so you can dwell on His peace, He is the answer.

The key of Entrance

Friday, May 13, 2022

Thanksgiving is not just a holiday, it’s a key. The Psalms command ‘Enter His gates with thanksgiving … and His courts with praise.’ Most believers take this as a command. If you’re going to enter His courts, enter with thanksgiving. The truth of these words isn’t only a commandment, it’s a secret, a key. To enter the gates of the Lord, you need the keys of the Lord. The key you need to unlock the gates of the Lord, in order to enter in, is the key of thanksgiving. You could read the Scripture this way: ‘The only way you will ever truly enter the gates of the Lord is with thanksgiving.’ Thanksgiving is the key that unlocks the gates of the Lord. It doesn’t matter what’s blocking you, if you give thanks to God, you can enter in. When you give thanks, it’s impossible to be gloomy, to worry, to dwell in condemnation, or be unhappy. When you give thanks, you enter His joy, His peace. When you give thanks, it’s hard not to worship. Enter the gates of the Lord. Start now. You have the key. Enter His gates with thanksgiving.

From Message #270 – The Power of Giving Thanks
Scripture: Psalm 100:4

Today’s Mission – Enter into His presence with praise, pray His will be done today, thank Him for His promises and feel the peace that passes all understanding.

The Puritans & The Messianic Revival

Thursday, May 12, 2022

The Pilgrims founded America and gave us Thanksgiving. The writings of the Puritans are prophecies based on the Bible, that before the second coming, Jewish people will return to Messiah, and become messengers of the Gospel; a light to the nations. They spoke of a great Messianic revival, with Jews for Jesus, at the end of the age. They prayed for the Jewish people and for their revival. These were the people who founded the civilization known as ‘America.’ America would become the nation that would become the refuge of the Jewish people, the key nation to defeat Hitler and Nazism, and the key nation in which Jewish people would come to their Messiah – the center of the end-time Jewish revival. The Puritans played a part, in faith and prayer, in the end day revival of the Jewish people, their return to Messiah. Learn from the Puritans. Love the Jewish people and pray for their salvation. God will bless you and even use your life, faith, and prayers, to bring about the fulfillment of His purposes.

From Message #792 – The Mystery Reapers
Scripture: Psalm 122:6

Today’s Mission – Play your part in prophesy, praying for revival of the Jewish people and their return to Messiah. Bless them by loving them, today.

The Cafeteria Principle

Wednesday, May 11, 2022

When I was growing up, for lunch you went to the school cafeteria, got a tray, silverware, and a napkin. The school lunch ladies, with their hair bonnets and plastic gloves, would slop mashed potatoes and sloppy joes made from yesterday’s leftovers onto your plate. You really didn’t have a choice. Today when you go into a restaurant cafeteria, you choose what’s put on your plate. You don’t just take whatever is served. Too many of us think life is like a school cafeteria. Whatever is served, you accept it and try to carry it. But if you accept everything, you are going to get weighed down. Life and people will dish out many things. So you must choose what you are going to take. If people dish out anger, gossip, fear, or hate, don’t let it touch your plate. Instead choose what is good. Get into God’s word and fill your plate, your heart with it. Let your mind dwell on that. As for the rest of whatever life dishes out, remember you’re not a child anymore and you don’t have to worry about the lunch lady.

From Message #894 – The Bakhar Joy Secrets
Scripture: Philippians 4:8

Today’s Mission – Refuse to take in any bad issues that this life or people in this life will try to give you, fill yourself with the Word of God, focus on the good.

Past the Barriers

Friday, May 6, 2022

Peter is in prison and an angel comes to him and takes him out. It is written, “they passed.” In Acts 12:10 it says, they passed the first guard and the second guard, they passed all these checkpoints. Then they passed through the halls. The path of freedom is not a path without barriers or obstacles, but it is one with barriers and with obstacles. It is about walking through them or past them. The thing is, you will have obstacles, but walk through them. You will have setbacks, but go ahead, as Peter did. You have the power to not only say I am free, but later on to walk through the obstacles, turn down the temptation, keep going past the discouragement, past the old barriers. You have been told you are free, but to be free you are to walk in freedom and keep walking through the obstacles, through the barrier, through the discouragement, through that limit, because the power of Messiah is freedom, not to avoid chains, but to break them. Not to avoid the obstacles, but overcome them and not to avoid the barriers, but to go past them.

From Message #886 – Angelic Prison Break Secrets
Scripture: 1 John 5:4

Today’s Mission – Today break the chains that bind you to being truly free in God. Push past the barriers and whatever hinders you from God’s will.

Adon the one who Owns you

Thursday, May 5, 2022

We use the word, Jesus is Lord. We tell unbelievers to make Him Lord. But how often do WE really do that? We use the word a lot, but Lord is a radical thing. Lord in Hebrew is Adon. It comes from the root that means to rule over. It means the one who rules over you. It means also owner, the one who owns you. The One you belong to, knows your dreams, and desires, your burdens, sins and pain. Only those who call Him Lord are saved, but in Hebrew that is Adon. If you are a believer, you have to call Him Adon, my owner, the one who owns me. A saved life is an owned life. It means your life belongs to God. Your debts, it all belongs to God. Is He truly your Lord? Is He truly your Adon? The sign of that is that you are living an owned life. Everything you have is His and you live each day with that. Live as His possession and you will be blessed, and then you can truly call Him Lord. Your Adon, the One who owns me.

From Message #885 – He and You
Scripture: Psalm 145:18-20

Today’s Mission – Give up ownership of your life today, Everything you have, everything you are, give it to Him. Live as His possession.

More Lilies, Less Eye-Plucking

Wednesday, May 4, 2022

Imagine Messiah gives the Sermon on the Mount, “blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God”. Afterwards, people come up to Him, shake hands, but others talk. What did you think of that Sermon on the Mount? Well, I liked the part about the lilies of the field, but that part about if you lust, you are committing adultery, I do not agree with that! That part about plucking out your eyes, he could have been more positive. If he starts doing the eye-plucking thing every week, we are not going to have a congregation. If someone came in and preached exactly what Messiah preached, we would have problems with it. We act the same with the Word. We may not say it like that, we just ignore it or rationalize it. He really did not mean that. A true disciple will take what He says seriously. Do not rationalize it or argue with it. Just do it. Read the word of the Lord today as if it were the first time. The Lord did not come into this world, to give us nice sermons. He came to change your life.

From Message #883 – Graduation I
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16

Today’s Mission – Take to heart the Living Word at full strength, let the Lord’s teachings change you today and do not depart from the Word.

The City not Taken

Tuesday, May 3, 2022

There is a city on the Mediterranean coast of Israel called Akko (Acre). Akko was an important pagan city, a key port in the hands of Israel’s enemies. Akko could have been a great blessing for Israel. The tragedy is that this was supposed to be Israel’s land. It was given to Israel by God, bequeathed to the tribe of Asher, but Asher never took it. It remained pagan and was never a part of the Promised Land, even though it was given to them. It was not theirs because they never entered it. Learn this lesson. God has promised you things, given you things, but if you do not believe it, it will not be yours. God has given you victory, peace, joy, love, freedom from bondage, and the power to triumph over all things, but if you do not ever enter it and fight for it, you will never know it. It will become for you Akko, the city never taken. Turn that defeat into a victory. Believe the promise, enter the inheritance, fight for the land and take the city. God has given you abundant life my friend, now take it.

From Message #882 – The Akko Principle
Scripture: Romans 8:31

Today’s Mission – Believe today that God has blessed you abundantly, take that power to triumph through Him to fight the good fight and enter into that victory in your life.

Attempt Great Things

Monday, May 2, 2022

The greatest physical challenge in our history was acquiring, entering, renovating and opening up a building for ministry that was ten times the size of our former building. Although it seemed over our heads physically, financially and in every way, we moved forward under the Lord’s direction. About that time, I was reading about a man named William Carey, an ordinary layperson, a laborer with a burden for the world. People told him it was impossible, but he did not accept it and launched modern missions to India. William Carey’s favorite quote was “Attempt great things for God, expect great things from God”. Just when the prospect of this gigantic building was upon us, I received a letter with the same quote. Everyday people unknowingly worked on this with great diligence, great faith and great perseverance. By God’s power working through us and apart from us, months later, it was done. Great faith will produce great works, but it is God’s power. His power and His commission are great. Attempt great things for God, and expect great things from God.

From Message #881 – The Wide Open Door: Enlarge Thy Tent II
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Today’s Mission – What has God called you to do today? Act on it in great faith and expect great things to happen, fulfill your calling.

The Non-Miracle Days

Friday, April 29, 2022

The Bible records many miracles: the judgments of Egypt, the virgin birth, the miracles in Acts. We think, if only I saw those miracles, I would believe without doubting. We think in those days miracles happened all the time. Not so. You’re reading only of those days where miracles did happen, not the many days they didn’t. The Hebrews saw the Red Sea part, yet soon afterwards, they started doubting God. Seeing miracles doesn’t mean you can coast without faith. It takes more faith when months and years pass; you have to remind yourself of what God has done. Don’t say, if you lived in those days, and saw the miracles, you would have overcoming faith. You do live in those days. It’s still the Book of Acts. The Spirit still moves and God is alive and well. You have seen miracles; the greatest is salvation, and many more answered prayers and His grace in your life. It’s not about seeing miracles, it’s about living the miracle every day. Choose to believe; it won’t matter if you see a miracle or not, because your life will BE the miracle.

From Message #877 – Possess the Miracle
Scripture: John 20-21

Today’s Mission – Believe that God works in the everyday miracles in your walk, today look with discerning eyes His miracles working right in front of you and within you.

The Hollow and The Nail

Thursday, April 28, 2022

“Who could hold the oceans in the hollow of His hand?” (Proverbs 30) Picture the depth of the oceans being in the hollow of God’s hand. Amazing! These hands that can hold the oceans in its hollow, that formed galaxies, became the hands of a baby in Bethlehem, and then became the hands through which nails were driven–hands bleeding on the cross, accomplishing our redemption. These hands that were pierced and impaled on the cross proved more powerful. In the weakness of God came His power and salvation. Remember the hands of God, the power of salvation. You won’t win the fight by fighting the world’s way or be powerful in the world’s strategies or in your own strength. It’s the power of the pierced hand; the crucified hand. Humble yourself and you will be exalted. Die to yourself and you will rise in His power. Surrender your will and you will overcome the world. The hands of Calvary didn’t hold the oceans in its hollow, but held nails and blood. By this power you will win your battle, my friend. There is no greater power than the crucified hands of God.

From Message #876 – God in our Sandals
Scripture: Romans 1:16

Today’s Mission – Humble yourself and surrender your will to God today. The battle is won only in the blood and the power of the Lamb.

Descending Masada

Tuesday, April 26, 2022

Now Masada is the mountain fortress in the middle of the wilderness in Israel. Many tourists seek to ascend Masada on foot, and buy a T-shirt that proudly says, “I climbed Masada.” Last time I was there, we didn’t feel like climbing Masada. So I and a few others decided to descend Masada. It is holy to go down mountains. You see, Moses didn’t just go up the mountain, he also went down. If he just climbed up the mountain it wouldn’t be complete. He had to come down. See, we go up in the Lord, but we have to go down and bring what we’ve received from God back to the world. Even the great commission that started in Jerusalem is on the mountain. So the disciples had to go down the mountain to the great commission. So you too; you receive from God; His love; His word; His glory; His truth, and you bring it to those who need it. It’s only complete when you do it. You need to go up the mountain and receive the blessing, but you have to go down the mountain to give it away.

From Message #873 – Down the Mountain
Scripture: Acts 11:19-21
Today’s Mission – Meet with the Lord today and receive the blessings of God on His mountaintop, then take it down the mountain to give it to those who need His Word and His love.

The Colors of The Serpent

Monday, April 25, 2022

The Bible speaks of the enemy in terms of a serpent, a snake; so we can get a jump on his strategies by looking at snakes. Many snakes have bodies filled with shapes, colors, lines and triangles of color, or rectangles and blotches and spots and bands. Why? They are there to camouflage. So a coiled snake often will obscure itself by these patterns. Other snakes have scales that blend in with the surroundings. Others have stripes that eliminate the sensation of motion. This says a lot about the enemy and his strategy. The enemy always seeks to camouflage himself as a serpent. He never comes in the beginning and says, “Hey, I am the devil. I am here to destroy your life.” The nature of serpents or the enemy, is to come in camouflage as good. He will always come as something looking good; a pleasant indulgence that will cripple your walk, or a nice sounding new teaching that will destabilize your faith. Therefore, be careful. Look through the appearance, beyond the feeling, to the word and Spirit of God. Because only in God is there true life and true joy.

From Message #861 – Snake Busters I
Scripture: 1 John 4:1

Today’s Mission – Today examine your walk in the Lord and look for the holes where the enemy has crept in. Keep your faith in God pure by focusing on His word daily.

God Bless America

Thursday, April 21, 2022

After September 11, everyone was saying God Bless America, God Bless America. Which God, which America and what blessing? The God of the Bible, the god of political correctness or the god of Islam? Which America? The America founded to be a light to the nations, or the America that is the chief exporter of pornography and immorality, killing of unborn children with its media that daily blasphemes God? Which blessing? The blessing of being kept safe and prosperous so we can continue in sin and take God out of every corner of public life? The point is not God Bless America. The point is, America should bless God! The focus of our prayers are not to be our nation’s prosperity, but our nation’s repentance. So, too, in our lives. We tend to focus our prayers on God blessing us. More important is that we bless God, that we repent and we live in God’s will. We can’t expect His blessings if you don’t embrace and submit to His will. Pray and seek for our life to be in His will. Bless God with your obedience and God will bless you with His best.

From Message #924 – Voice of the Watchmen
Scripture: Romans 14:11

Today’s Mission – Pray for America today, for repentance, for salvation, for revival – and be part of the answer by living in revival today.

Off The Chair

Wednesday, April 20, 2022

Imagine you were guilty of a serious crime and you were sentenced to death in the electric chair? You are taken to the chair, they strap you down and they are about to pull the switch. Suddenly, at the last minute you are reprieved. Someone gave their life for you, they chose to die in your place so you would be free. They unstrap you, they open the door, they set you free. They say, “go in peace.” You would live in gratitude. You wouldn’t demand anything, you would count your blessings. You would live with a debt of love. But if you want salvation and the blessings of mercy, then you have to live by mercy. You were sentenced to eternal judgment and rightly, but someone gave his life for you. You went to your judgment and you will be free now because He went to your judgment. Live your life appropriately, hold no more bitterness, relinquish all rights, bless and live in humility. Walk in a debt of love, because you just walked away from the chair. Or rather, your salvation began when you left the execution stake – the Cross!

From Message #919 – The Life of Extra
Scripture: Titus 2:11-12

Today’s Mission – You have been blessed with a debt of love that comes from salvation. Pay that debt of love by living a day of love – and a life of love.

The Scroll Factor

Tuesday, April 19, 2022

One of the most important parts of the Bible isn’t the black ink or even the Word. It’s the space behind it. When the prophets wrote down the Word they had to write it all on scrolls of parchment. The Word had to have something to stick to, a background, a context, otherwise you couldn’t read it. What does it teach us–all that white space? That we can’t just exist in the realm of words. The Word of God has to be fixed onto life, into the context of your life. You can’t just quote scripture, it’s not enough. You need the context, it has to be fixed to your real life. If you have the Word but you don’t apply it to your life, it is just like ink without the parchment. It doesn’t produce life, they have to be together. The Word of God can change any life, any situation, any problem, any heart, but you have to apply it to the real part of your life. The blessings begin when it comes together. Let the blessings begin in your life. Take the Word and let the Word hit the page.

From Message #917 – The Invisible Scriptures
Scripture: John 14:23-24

Today’s Mission – Take the Word today and let it touch your real life, apply it so that it sticks onto your background.

No Rollback

Monday, April 18, 2022

Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established.” The word in Hebrew for commit is “galal,” to roll away, as in rolling a boulder down a hill. We get the word Galilee from it, because Galilee has rolling hills. Commitment is to roll away. Let go of those stones, problems, worries, things you are trying to hold on to. Commit them to the Lord and your burden will be gone. Once you roll something down a hill, there is no rolling it back. The most committed people in the Lord are actually going to be the most light-hearted. Stop trying to keep everything under control. Once, you give it to the Lord, don’t take it back. When you came to the Lord, you committed your life. That means you rolled away your life to God. Don’t worry or be weighed down or heavy laden with anything. Have you taken back that boulder of your life? Commit it all back. Let it go, for to commit everything to God is to roll it all away.

From Message #916 – Let it Roll
Scripture: Psalm 37:5

Today’s Mission – Today, let God have control over every aspect of your life. Release it all. Give God the reins to your will and let it roll!

The Secret of The Magi

Friday, April 15, 2022

The magi were wise men, but how could they be that wise, and know what they knew by looking at the stars, and that a king would come in the time He did? Daniel 9 gives the countdown to the coming of Messiah: seventy times seven, 490 years, adding up to around that time. How would they know that prophecy? Daniel was chief of the wise men. The word “wisemen” refers to magicians or magi. He was chief over them, the wisest of the wise. Undoubtedly, the magi studied the writings of Daniel and undoubtedly, Daniel would have prayed for them to become saved. Although they seemed hopeless, Daniel prayed for them. Clearly, they would someday travel to Bethlehem, and be known throughout the ages as those first finding the Messiah. If the magi in Persia was far away and into the occult, could one day find the Light because they searched and found Him, then don’t you give up on those people in your life who seem so distant. Keep sharing, loving, praying, and giving the word. If the magi in Persia could end up in Bethlehem, so can your friend.

From Message #908 – The Forbidden Prophecy III
Scripture: Proverbs 8:17

Today’s Mission – Pray today for your unsaved friends and co-workers, give them the Good Word, let them see the living God within you.

The Focused Revolutionary

Thursday, April 14, 2022

Revolutionaries are single-minded people; completely focused on the revolution. Everything Lenin, Mao and Castro did had purpose and direction. Though it was wrong, they had focus. Most believers aren’t. They are apathetic or lukewarm about serving God. They tend to be willing to serve God, but pre-occupied with the details of life; divided in their hearts. They want to live for God, but are living for themselves. They want to witness but are more concerned about what people think of them. But if Lenin, Trotsky or Mao were like that, they wouldn’t have had a revolution, nor a victory. If they were focused on wrong purposes, how much more should we who have God be focused on God’s purposes? We are the true revolutionaries. We are to be the most focused people, to run the race fixing our eyes on Yeshua, Jesus. Paul said, I don’t run without aim, and he changed the world. You too can change the world. Commit your heart and mind to become once and for all single-minded for God, one-tracked, focused, and you will overcome the world. You are a revolutionary. The revolution is waiting to begin.

From Message #973 – Revolutionary
Scripture: Hebrews 12:1

Today’s Mission – Live today as a revolutionary for God – live focused on God’s mission, and fulfill it.

The Spirit Step

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

Pentecost; it’s the Hebrew Shavuot. It’s the feast of the harvest, the feast of the Spirit. The disciples were waiting. The gathering of the apostles in Jerusalem is the ultimate example of the conditions that need to be met in our lives; in living a life that is open and filled with the Spirit. It represented their great stepping out. Their rabbi was gone, and now they are stepping out into the future. It was the moment they broke with the past. Instead of being in Galilee, their home, they left their jobs and daily lives all behind. They were now ready to go wherever God would send them. That’s when the Spirit came with its power. The gospel is now complete and Acts is about to begin; having received the gospel, they now have to step out. Step out in the Word, step out in faith, step out in love, and step out in ministry. Step out in obeying what you have not obeyed so far; and the blessing will come and the breakthrough and the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon you, because the Spirit comes when His people step out.

From Message #905 – When He is Come
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:12
Today’s Mission – Today, open yourself up to the leadings of the Holy Spirit. Let Him guide you through your walk in faith.

The Book of Oracles

Tuesday, April 12, 2022

The world is very desperate for any kind of guidance, any shred of revelation or spirituality. People go to horoscopes and fortune tellers, only to end up being darker and more lost than they were before. Even some believers fall into that deception. The Lord is definitely able to speak supernaturally to us, to guide us, encourage us, correct us and lead us in all sorts of divine ways. We are His children; our Father is more than glad to communicate with us directly and regularly. We don’t need to be begging for crumbs of guidance when God has given us a banquet. The banquet is the Word of God. You have all you need to know God’s will. It is the Book of Oracles. His supernatural revelation, His prophecies, His actual word for your life. Don’t go running around seeking a prophet, or a sign from a cloud formation, or a license plate. Open the Book today and find God’s divine revelation for your life and follow it. Do it, obey it, and God will speak, because He has given you the greatest of treasures–all His oracles right at your fingertips.

From Message #902 – Receiving the Oracles
Scripture: Colossians 3:16

Today’s Mission – Open your day in prayer today, spend time to read His Holy Scriptures and listen for His word, then follow Him.

The Worship Weapon

Monday, April 11, 2022

They’re the most powerful of weapons, but rarely used. They can vanquish the greatest of earthly foes. They can subdue an army, even give victory, but most believers rarely use them; even when they are needed the most. What are these weapons? The Bible speaks about King Jehoshaphat being led into a battle in which his army was outnumbered. But instead of fighting with regular weapons of war, Jehoshaphat commanded his army to fight with worship and praise. And when they did, the army of Judah won the war. You see, King Jehoshaphat knew something most believers don’t know, that praise and worship are powerful weapons. Most believers use praise and worship in times of peace. But the real key is to use them in times of war. It’s when you’re in the midst of battle and there is worry, unrest, conflict, doubt, fear and anxiety that you need to use these most powerful weapons. Praise and worship God in the battle, and during the fight. When it’s hardest to praise Him, praise Him anyway. You will win the battle because praise and worship are not just for peace; they are weapons of war.

From Message #928 – Raging Faith
Scripture: Psalm 140:7
Today’s Mission – Today commit to fighting your spiritual battles with the weapon of praise, praise Him all through the day, no matter what, and until you have the victory

You are Being Called

Friday, April 8, 2022

Many believers talk about being called. They will say, “I know I am called or being called; God is calling me or there is a calling on my life.” Imagine, there is someone outside your house saying, “come on out!” The person sitting inside says, “I know I am being called, someone is calling me,” but they don’t answer. Another person in a room hears the phone ringing. The person says, “someone is calling or I am being called. I know I am being called,” but they don’t answer the phone. That would be crazy, but no crazier than when believers spend their life talking or thinking about being called, but doing nothing. To be called is to be called to something, to move somewhere to respond. You have to answer that call, or that calling means nothing. If you are a believer, you are being called, and the first step is to begin by answering that call. God called His people throughout the Bible, but you only read about those who became heroes and heroines, those who answered the call. No calling is complete until you answer it.

From Message #910 – The Upward Call
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:9

Today’s Mission – Answer God’s calling on your life today. Take action to serve Him where He is moving you.

The Hermetically-Sealed Sukkah

Thursday, April 7, 2022

Every year in autumn, the children of Israel celebrate Sukkot – the Feast of Tabernacles. During the Feast of Tabernacles, Jewish people were required to live in sukkahs. These were huts, made of branches and fruit. Each sukkah had to be constructed so that you could see the stars of heaven through the branches of its roof. Their homes were much more comfortable than their sukkahs. They were solid with no gaps to see the heavens. The sukkah was humble, but it was opened up to heaven. It’s easy to get comfortable in your life to the point where you can’t see heaven anymore – so that you don’t rely on the Lord. You stopped leaning on the Lord. You’ve put a real solid roof over your head and over your relationship with God. Your routine, busyness, security have formed a roof over your head that’s blocking you from relating to God as you used to. Break open the roof. Come back to the simplicity of your faith, as when you first came to the Lord, with nothing. Simplify your walk and heart so that you might again see the stars through the branches.

From Message #566 – Heaven Through The Branches
Scripture: Psalm 63:1

Today’s Mission – Today, break through the barriers that separate you from God. Open up your heart so that you can clearly see Him.

Yeshua Water

Wednesday, April 6, 2022

During the Hebrew Feast of Sukkot – or Tabernacles, Jewish people took part in the Water Drawing Ceremony. They’d draw water from the Pool of Siloam and bring it up to the Temple Mount. They’d pour out and recite Isaiah 12, “And in joy you shall draw waters from the wells of salvation,” or the wells of Y’shua. This is the same word as Yeshua, Jesus’ real name. It’s very likely that at this moment, when the water was being poured out during the Feast of Tabernacles that Messiah said, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, from his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.” Messiah’s speaking about WELL WATER – the kind of water spoken of at Tabernacles. “INNERMOST” is important. Well water comes from INSIDE. The abundant life God has for you wells up from inside. Stop seeking to be filled up from the outside in; by money and things. Seek to be filled from the inside out, from the love of God in your heart. The true rivers of living water flow from a well of salvation, the well of Yeshua.

From Message #659 – Into the Deep
Scripture: Matthew 6:33

Today’s Mission – Be filled with God’s love deep in your soul and let that love pour out of you in acts of kindness today, giving freely and mightily in His name.

The Bully’s Bluff

Monday, April 4, 2022

To this day, historians are amazed at the rise of Adolf Hitler. He was an unsuccessful artist, a misfit, yet he ended up taking control of Germany, then Europe, and almost the world. He had a tactic that he used from the beginning to the end – intimidation and bluffs. He continually threatened those who would stand in his way, and often his threats were bluffs. Had he been firmly challenged, he would have been defeated. The people around him believed his bluff and they surrendered to him and the bluff became real. That is Satan’s nature and tactic against you. The deceiver will claim that he has more power than he does, and that you have less power in God than you do; that you don’t have the power to resist the temptation. But it is not true unless you give in! You stand with God; you stand on His promises. You don’t give in; you fight him and overcome. For “greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” Don’t give in, because no matter what it looks like, it’s ultimately a bluff–a bully’s bluff.

From Message #901 – The Great Bluff
Scripture: Psalm 59:16-17

Today’s Mission – Today, stand strong in the Lord’s strength. Do not panic when the deceiver threatens you. Stand and fight, take authority over all attacks that come at you.

The Freedom of Being His

Are you struggling with something? Trying to break free of something? Let me tell you a secret, it’s from the Song of Solomon. It’s the word of the bride, “Dodi Li V’ Ani Lo,” my beloved is mine and I am His. How do you become free from all those things which are not of God? By giving yourself to that which is God; by belonging to Him. The more you belong to Him, the less you belong to anything else. We tend to concentrate on trying not to belong to anything else, to that sin. Well, that’s great, but the key is focusing rather on what you are belonging to. See yourself totally as His. You won’t be able to belong to anything else. As it is written, you have been bought with a price; therefore, glorify God. You don’t belong to that sin or that temptation anymore. You belong only to God. Join and commit your life to the ownership of God. And you will be free of everything else. And you too, can say, “Dodi Li V’ Ani Lo,” my beloved is mine and I am completely His.

From Message #674 – Dodi Li
Scripture: Song of Solomon 2:16

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim today to live as if you didn’t belong to yourself – but were God’s own possession – because you are!
