The Cost of His Presence

Friday, July 11, 2025

What we’ve known as the Tabernacle was called the ‘Mishkan.’ It was the very first house of God; the dwelling place of God’s glory; the place of Heaven’s dwelling. And yet it wasn’t built of heavenly materials. It was built of earthly things. It was built from what the Hebrews gave. And they gave from what they had; their jewelry, their cloth, their adornments, whatever they had. They gave of their lives. It wasn’t the material that was holy – it was the fact that they gave it, they sacrificed it, and they surrendered it for God’s holy purposes. And the glory of God indwelt it. So too, with your life. When you give to the purposes of God, your time, your money, your heart, your talents, your resources, that which you give becomes holy. The Lord doesn’t ask you for much… just all. And we all have an all to give. Just give all of it, whatever you have, no matter what it is, the materials of your life – give them all to God and His purposes, and they will become holy, and the glory of God will come down.

From Message #1272 – Preparing For The Glory
Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:2

Today’s Mission – Today, give God your best, your most valuable time, the first fruits of your devotion, the best of your heart.

The Festival of Going

Thursday, July 10, 2025

Do you remember when you were a child, and the summer came around? School would have a commencement celebration, and everyone would go their separate ways. It was a time of going out. Ancient Israel had something like that too. Every year Israel would gather in Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Shavuot – known in Greek as Pentecost. After celebrating, they would all go out to their fields and reap the great summer harvest. They wouldn’t gather again until the fall. It was no accident that on this festival 2,000 years ago, God sent His Spirit. It was the Feast of Going Out. The disciples then had to go out into all nations – into the harvest field of the Great Commission. Going out is holy. Do you want a life that flows in the Spirit? Do you want to grow, fulfill the Great Commission and the calling on your life? Then you have to celebrate the Feast of Going Out. Go out in the power of God’s Spirit, into the joy of His harvest, because it’s summertime. The harvest is great. The Spirit has come, and you need to go out.

From Message #313 – Going Out
Scripture: Acts 20:16

Today’s Mission – Today, go out in the power of God’s Spirit, into the joy of His harvest.

The Huppah

Wednesday, July 9, 2025

Isaiah 4:5 says this: “Then the Lord will spread over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud of smoke by day and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all, the glory will be a canopy.” But the original Hebrew behind the word “canopy” contains a treasure. The actual Hebrew word is “Huppah.” The Huppah is the canopy of the Hebrew marriage, spread over the heads of the bride and groom, who sit together as king and queen as one. In other words, in the days of the kingdom, God will spread a wedding canopy over His people. In that day, as Isaiah 62:4 says, even the land will be married, everything will be married. And if you want to live in the blessings of the kingdom now, then the key is – marry everything in your life to the Lord; your dreams, your problems, your weaknesses, joys, desires, plans, home, job, spouse, secret life, career, money, possessions, everything. Bring every part of your life under His Huppah, joined to Him. For that which is under the Huppah shall be blessed.

From Message #2029 – Entering the Seventh Day
Scripture: Matthew 25:10

Today’s Mission – Today, marry everything in your life to the Lord. Bring everything, especially those untouched areas, into His presence, His mercy, and His healing touch.

The Ancient Word That Is Always New

Tuesday, July 8, 2025

People have sometimes asked me how old my computer is. If I answer, “It’s seven months old.” They reply, “Then it’s a dinosaur.” “Oh really?” I reply, “And what kind of computer do you have?” “Well, I’m just about to purchase a new computer with 1000 terabytes.” “That’s nice, but give it two months, and you’ve got a dinosaur. All you’re doing is buying a future dinosaur.” The more new something is in this world, the more quickly it becomes old. New technology becomes old in a matter of months – New movies, in a matter of weeks – New news, a matter of hours. The newer it is, the more quickly it grows old. But there’s one thing that breaks all those rules – the Word of God. The Word of God is thousands of years old, and yet when you receive it, it’s newer than yesterday’s newspaper. How much is yesterday’s newspaper worth? Nothing. But the Word of God, thousands of years old, is as new and as priceless now as it was when it first came. So what should you be spending your time on?

From Message #1270 – Unchangeable
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:25

Today’s Mission – Today, take time in the Word of God and treasure that which is always new forever.

The Blesser Is Greater

Monday, July 7, 2025

In Hebrews 7 we’re told of the priest-king, Melchizedek blessing Abraham – and then of a principle, which is this: “Without a doubt, the lesser person is blessed by, the greater.” In other words, the one who blesses is greater than the one who is blessed. Interesting, because most people, believers included, spend their lives trying to be blessed. Most people want others to bless them, to thank them, to praise them, recognize them, help them, and serve them. But the Bible says that the one who blesses is greater. So do you want to be great? Then bless. Do you want to be rich? Then be truly rich by giving! Do you want to be powerful? The most powerful one, is the one who can bless no matter what. Do you want to triumph over rejection? Then bless those who rejected you. Do you want to triumph over your enemies? Then bless them. Do you want to be the most joyous person? Then bless. For it’s the one who is truly blessed and who has joy that can bless. So live a life of greatness. How? Simple… Bless!

From Message #1267 – The Blesser
Scripture: Romans 12:14

Today’s Mission – Today, be greater: bless those who have rejected or hurt you.

Who Goels Your Life From The Pit

Friday, July 4, 2025

In Psalm 103:4, it says of the Lord “who redeems your life from the pit”. But in Hebrew, it doesn’t say that. It uses a much more specific word, the Hebrew “goel”. It would read something like “who goels your life from the pit”. The “goel” was the kinsman-redeemer, the man who would redeem the life of a barren widow by marrying her and making her fruitful with children. So, in Psalm 103, it’s not just that God redeems us, it’s that He becomes our “goel,” our kinsman-redeemer. He redeems us by marrying us, by joining Himself to us by becoming one with us so that our lives can’t help but bear fruit. And that is the secret. Do you want your life to become overflowing with fruitfulness? Do you want to fulfill your purpose and calling? Do you want your life to be abundantly blessed? Then make it your aim to get as close, as intimate, as joined, and as one with God as possible in everything and it will be. For the Lord is not only your Redeemer – He’s your Goel!

From Message #1260 – The Cosmos & The Goel
Scripture: Isaiah 47:4

Today’s Mission – Today, make it your aim to get goeled! Get as close, as intimate, as joined, and as one with God in every way possible.

Don’t Ever Get Healed In That Name!

Thursday, July 3, 2025

In the writings of the rabbis, there are accounts bearing out Messiah’s miracles. One involves a Jewish man who needs healing. A Jewish believer tells him to pray in the name of Yeshua, Jesus. He does and he’s healed! So he runs to the rabbi to tell him what happened, to which the rabbi responds by telling him never to get healed in that name again! Amazing! The rabbinical writings confirm that in the name of Yeshua, Jesus, is the power of healing, but then give the counsel never to pray in that name. So here waits the healing of the Jewish people, and yet they’re not ready to receive it. So, too, God’s will for all is healing and restoration- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And it’s not as if that healing and restoration isn’t there- it is. It’s just that we might not be ready to be healed or to become whole. And until we are, it will still wait. God wants you healed, whole, and restored. Don’t make the Don’t make the mistake of the rabbis. Open up your life and let it happen.

From Message #1256 – The Illegal Miracles
Scripture: Ephesians 1:21

Today’s Mission – Today, open your heart to the healing and restoration that the Lord has for you.

The Love That’s Still Counting

Wednesday, July 2, 2025

If you’ve ever been chased around the dining room table by a parent, most likely it wasn’t your mother, but your father. My father would count up to three. My mother would count up to three thousand and beyond. In fact, she’s still counting. A mother’s love is a picture of the love of God. Often we picture God as a severe judge ready to lose his temper, but the truth is, the love of God is as compassionate and tender as the love of a mother, only more so. And that means He must be very patient. In fact, the Bible says that the reason the age has gone on so long is solely because of the patience of God for people to repent and get saved. Thank God that He’s patient, and that He puts up with you and me and all of us. What should that make us do? It should make us all the more zealous to bless Him, to please Him, and to make Him smile. God has the patience of a saint. And even more than a saint, He has the patience of a mother, and even more than that. And in that is our salvation.

From Message #1255 – But I Will Not Forget You
Scripture: Matthew 22:37

Today’s Mission – Today, make it your aim to bless God, to please Him, and to make Him smile.

JURASSIC PARK BECOMES REALITY

Tuesday, July 1, 2025

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
In 1990, science fiction writer Michael Crichton wrote a novel about a zoological park that employed genetic engineering to bring back extinct dinosaurs from the dead.
Now thirty-five years later, in 2025, scientists announced they had, in fact, brought back an extinct species from the dead. They called them Romulus and Remus after the legendary twin brothers who founded the city of Rome. They were wolves of a different kind. They typically grow up to 6 feet long and weighed 150 pounds. But what is most unique about them is that they have reportedly not been seen on earth for thousands of years. They are the sole example on earth of dire wolves.
They managed the resurrection through a process which echoed that described in Jurassic Park. Using an ancient tooth and a bone lent to them by museums, they extracted the DNA of the dire wolf. Then, by studying the DNA, they made 20 edits in 14 genes from the common gray wolf. Those edits produced a larger size, with more powerful shoulders, larger teeth and jaws, and a white coat. And then, by using domestic dogs to serve as surrogate mothers, they brought the extinct creature back to life.
According to the company that performed the resurrection, Colossal Biosciences, the bringing back of the dire wolf is only the beginning. They now plan on resurrecting the woolly mammoth, the dodo, and the Tasmanian tiger. Already in March of 2025, Colossal announced that they had merged the DNA of the mammoth with that of a mouse to create a woolly mouse.
What will be the result of the reviving and altering of animal life? The story of Jurassic Park is a cautionary tale. The experiment goes horribly wrong. The de-extincted creatures defy containment. They break out of the parameters set for them. The truth is, scientists have no idea what will happen. And all this happening at a time when more and more questions have arisen as to the possibility that COVID was the accidental creation of the viral lab in Wuhan, China.
To alter the genetic code is to play God. To use scientific means to bring back what was dead is to play Frankenstein. Either way, it doesn’t end well. Such things belong to the end times. But for we who are believers, the end times are not times of fear but of ushering in the coming of the Lord. Let us be even bolder in proclaiming the Gospel of Life to all who will hear it, that the dead around us might be given true life by the power of Messiah. And may God greatly bless you as you do!

Paul’s Magnificent Failure

Monday, June 30, 2025

While Paul was in Athens, he sought to preach the Gospel. It was the city council that was in charge of granting such permission. We don’t’ know that he ever obtained that permission, and we have no record of him spreading the Gospel throughout the city. So did he fail? Not at all. Paul preached the Gospel in Athens at least once – on Mars Hill. And that one sermon on Mars Hill, the sermon of the Unknown God, was recorded and transmitted to thousands and millions of people and launched countless missions to countless more peoples. In the same way, sometimes it may seem as if you’ve failed in the Lord. You didn’t achieve what you set out to achieve and you feel like a failure. But if you’re in God’s will, there is no such thing as failure. It’s only a matter of obedience. Paul was obedient, and in his “failure,” countless lives and nations would be touched for the Gospel. So it is with you and God. If you’re faithful, you can never fail- you just may have no idea how successful you are.

From Message #1254 – Showdown On Mars Hill
Scripture: Luke 12:37

Today’s Mission – Today, do your best to be faithful in what God has called you to and trust that He will accomplish His will in your life.

The Old Quaker’s Paradox

Friday, June 27, 2025

An old Quaker advertised that he would give away 40 acres of good farmland to anyone who was perfectly satisfied with what he had. One day, a man seeking the land came up to the Quaker and said, “I would like to have the land.” The Quaker asked him, “Art thou perfectly satisfied with what thou hast?” “Yes,” answered the man, “I am perfectly satisfied.” “Then,” said the Quaker, “why on earth dost thou want this land?” Thus the old Quaker never parted with his land, because the only ones perfectly satisfied with what they had weren’t interested in getting it, and those who wanted the land weren’t perfectly satisfied. Messiah told us, “If you will lose your life for My sake, you will find it.” And He told the rich young ruler, “If you wish to be complete, go sell your possessions and give the money to the poor.” It’s a paradox, but it’s true. If you want to be full, empty yourself. If you want to be content, then let go of your want. For having nothing but God is to have everything- an abundant life and perfect satisfaction.

From Message #1488 – The Secret of the Cup
Scripture: Matthew 5:6

Today’s Mission – Today, empty yourself and seek His righteousness that fills and satisfies.

The Cup Of Crushed Fruit

Thursday, June 26, 2025

Adam fell through the partaking of a fruit. Messiah came as the second Adam to undo his fall. As Adam partook of the fruit of the trees, so Messiah, on the sixth day, also partook of fruit as He drank the cup of the fruit of the vine. This time, the fruit was crushed, as Messiah’s life would likewise be crushed. Adam ate the forbidden fruit and was sentenced to death. Messiah drank the cup of crushed fruit and then was led to his death. Adam was taken from a garden to the place where he would die. Messiah would also be taken from a Garden, the Garden of Gethsemane, to his death. We who follow the Lord are told to partake of that same cup- the cup of the Lord’s Supper. It’s not just a cup of fruit, but of crushed fruit. For by partaking of the crushing of Messiah and His death and dying to self is the power to overcome the curse of Adam. The more we do so, the more we will overcome, for the blessings of the Tree of Life now come to us in a cup of crushed fruit.

From Message #1247 – Sixth Day Revelation Mystery
Scripture: Isaiah 53:5

Today’s Mission – Today, partake of the crushing of Messiah by dying to yourself and overcoming the curse.

The God Of Vegetables

Wednesday, June 25, 2025

What father would give his son a stone instead of bread, a snake instead of a fish, or a scorpion instead of eggs? Messiah used this illustration to share how our Heavenly Father gives good things to His children. If Messiah went on, he might have noted that good fathers will also make their children eat vegetables: asparagus, broccoli, spinach. But most of us didn’t ask for those things and didn’t want them when they came. You see, a good father will also give his children what they need, even if they didn’t ask for it and didn’t want it. In other words, God also gives us what we don’t ask for or want, but what we need- that trial, that problem, that person, that disappointment, or that crisis. Those are God’s vegetables. You don’t have to like them, but when you see them on your plate, start looking for the good. If not in the way they go down, then in what they will produce for you in the end. God is not just the God of bread and fish, but also of vegetables.

From Message #1237 – Scorpions and Fish
Scripture: Isaiah 55:9

Today’s Mission – Today, if you are going through a trial, look for the good it will produce.

The Lesson Of King Hashnu

Tuesday, June 24, 2025

A Japanese story: One day, a stonecutter named Hashnu became miserable and discontent while cutting stone, despising his life as a stone-cutter. As he complained, the king rode by on his horse. “If Hashnu only a king could be,” said Hashnu. A voice said, “Be thou the king.” Hashnu became king. But while king, Hashnu was overcome by the heat of the sun and realized that the sun was stronger than he was. So he desired to become the sun. But then a cloud came and blocked out the light of the sun. So Hashnu became the cloud. Then the cloud burst on the land, flooding everything, moving everything in its path, except for a huge rock. The rock was stronger than him, so Hashnu became the rock. Then a man with a hammer and chisel came to the rock and began cutting it. Only then did he realize that he was more powerful being content as himself.

From Message #661 – The Private and the General
Scripture: Hebrews 13:5

Today’s Mission – Today, remember and give thanks that no matter what your situation, station, or circumstance, you are blessed and loved by the Lord.

Asking The Word

Monday, June 23, 2025

In Acts 17, it’s recorded that Paul speaks to the people of Berea. It’s then recorded that the Bereans searched the Scriptures daily to see if the things Paul said were indeed true. The Greek word, translated as “searched,” can also mean “asked,” “questioned,” or “inquired of.” In other words, it can be taken not only as if they searched through the Word, but as if they asked and questioned the Word as well. We should be more like the Bereans, not only in that we check everything out with the Word, but that we learn what it means to “ask” the Word, to be engaged in a dynamic relationship with the Word knowing that the Word of God is alive. Learn what it is to be engaged in a living conversation with the Word, where you bring every question, problem, and need you have to the Word and you let the Word answer your every question, problem, and need. For the Word of God is from the mouth and heart of God. Go ahead and ask- the Word will speak.

From Message #1235 – The Bereans
Scripture: John 1:1

Today’s Mission – Today, take whatever question or problem you have to the Word and let the Word answer.

The Other End Of The Leash

Friday, June 20, 2025

When I was growing up, I used to take my dog Pudgy for walks. Whenever Pudgy saw something of interest, she would take off after it- or at least try. I was on the other end of the leash, and it was my job to restrain her. Either I was going to be pulled by Pudgy, or Pudgy was going to be led by me. It’s the same way with our thoughts. Our thoughts and feelings tend to go all over the place, and to things they have no business going after. Most people are led by their emotions and their thoughts, even many believers. But that’s like a man being led by a dog. God has called us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Messiah. You can have victory over every thought, whim, desire, lust, and feeling, but you have to choose to take control. The next time that thought, feeling, or temptation comes up, you reign it in to the obedience of Messiah. Just remember, you don’t have to go along with it. You’re on the other side of the leash.

From Message #1230 – The Secret Of Heart Guiding
Scripture: Psalm 94:19

Today’s Mission – Today, take control of your thoughts by reigning them in to the obedience of Messiah.

Lentils & Flattery

Thursday, June 19, 2025

The philosopher Aristippus lived a comfortable life by flattering the Greek tyrant Dionysius. He looked down on his less prosperous fellow philosophers. One of them was Diogenes. A story is told that one day Aristippus saw Diogenes washing some lentils. Scornfully, he said to him, “If you would only learn how to flatter Dionysius, you wouldn’t have to wash lentils.” Diogenes replied, “And if you had only learned to live on lentils, you would not have to flatter tyrants.” In Philippians 4:11, Paul says, “For I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am in.” If you are to live a life of righteousness, godliness, and greatness, you have to wean yourself from the world, from vested interests, and dependencies. The more content you become with the things of God, the freer you’ll be from the world. Thus, the freer you are from the world, the more you will be able to live a life that is holy, godly, and blessed. Be like Paul- content in all things- and you’ll be free to live a life of greatness.

From Message #1467 – The Great Divestment
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:10

Today’s Mission – Today, choose to be content in all things and to give thanks in every situation. Free yourself from the world.

Missing His Appointment

Wednesday, June 18, 2025

Did you ever wake up and realize you had overslept and missed an appointment? Maybe you’ve missed appointments by getting distracted with something else. Many people in the Gospel accounts also missed their appointments – with Messiah. Some because they were too busy with other pursuits, others because they said, “Not now. Later.” That was the time of their appointment and for one reason or another, they missed it. In the same way, the Lord calls you. Every day, there’s a call from God, a perfect will, a mission, an appointment. Most of these appointments go unmet because most believers are too caught up in other things, distractions, pursuits, or telling God, “Later. Maybe tomorrow.” Is that you? Do you know that God has made an appointment with you for joy, an appointment with victory, an appointment with breakthrough? They’re all waiting- even today. Don’t let the chance be wasted. Answer the call and do the will of God. You have an appointment today with blessing, and it’s too important to miss.

From Message #1229 – The Time To Rise
Scripture: Micah 6:8

Today’s Mission – Today, answer the call and will of God. Don’t be late for your appointment to receive the blessing.

Where Is It Written?

Tuesday, June 17, 2025

Once when I was over at my sister’s house, I picked up one of my nieces to play with her. At this point, the other niece cried, “Pick me up! You picked her up, you have to pick me up!” I replied, “Where is it written that just because I picked up your sister, I have to pick you up too?” Two minutes later, she handed me a piece of paper on which was written, “When you pick up one of us, you have to pick up the other.” It was a clever move. For what is written often has the ability to give one authority, power, and freedom. And what is written in the Word of God is the ultimate authority. It’s written that you have the power to live a life of victory. In fact, you have all sorts of rights and freedoms and authorities that you may not be using at all. All the more reason to get into the Scriptures, for in them you’ll find your authority to live, to overcome, and to be blessed. Where is it written? In the Word of God, that’s where.

From Message #1227 – The Other King
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:16

Today’s Mission – Today, take one Word of God and stand on it, obey it, and apply it.

Making The Best Of It

Monday, June 16, 2025

There was a young artist who had a strong desire to travel the world, but she was unable to go anywhere because she had to stay home and support her parents. Instead of seeing the wonders of the world, she could only look out from her basement studio at three stone steps leading up to the house next door. So she painted a picture of what she saw: a stone wall, three rough stone steps, a dandelion, and three flowers which appeared to be growing out of the stone. She called her painting, “Making the Best of It”. It ended up being reproduced and giving inspiration to many. Maybe there are things you’ve wanted to do, places you wanted to go, dreams you wanted to fulfill, or goals you wanted to achieve which, for one reason or another, never came about. Your faith is not about where you are in life, but whom you’re with. That’s all that really matters. So stop looking at what is not and rejoice in what is. Make the best of it because with Him, the best is exactly what you have.

From Message #592 – The Lemonade Principle
Scripture: Galatians 2:20

Today’s Mission – Today, make the best of your situation, look for the good, give thanks for the good, and move in the good.

The Law of Trees

Friday, June 13, 2025

In Leviticus 19:23, Israel is given what could be called “The Law of Trees”. The Scripture, in a fascinating use of words in the original Hebrew, tells the Israelites to consider the fruit of the tree “uncircumcised and untouched” for three years. But in the fourth year, the fruit shall be “Kodesh,” holy to the Lord. Israel is spoken of again and again as a tree. Could the ancient law of trees reveal a prophetic mystery concerning Israel? The fruits of the trees are considered “unripe” or “uncircumcised” for 3 years, but in the fourth year they’re considered holy, the first fruits. In the fifth year, all its fruits are partaken of. In the same way, Israel and the Jewish people, have existed for about four thousand years. Now as we end the fourth millennium of Jewish existence, more and more Jewish people are turning to their Messiah to praise Him, the first fruits of a holy harvest. Could it be that the “fifth” millennium of Jewish existence will be the millennium when all its fruits will be holy and all of Israel will be saved?

From Message #1250 – The Day Of Man
Scripture: Ezekiel 37:12

Today’s Mission – Today, lift up the nation of Israel and pray for her salvation and the blossoming of the Olive Tree.

Pursuing God: Present Tense

Thursday, June 12, 2025

Proverbs 21:21 says, “He who pursues righteousness and mercy finds life”. The word used for ‘pursue’ is a Hebrew word that also means ‘to hunt’. We are to hunt after righteousness and mercy, to pursue it with all our hearts, to even run after it. Notice something else- it doesn’t say that the one who pursued righteousness is blessed, but the one who pursues it. In other words, we are never to stop pursuing God. The pursuit of God and His righteousness is something that must never become an action of the past tense. One of the greatest mistakes believers make is that they pursued God- but only in the past tense and not anymore. They lost their zeal and passion to pursue God. Having pursued Him in the past alone doesn’t bring blessing. But pursuing God in the present does. Make it your aim, your plan, your occupation, your joy to pursue God. Then you will find life and you will be blessed. For the one who continually pursues God and His righteousness will continually be blessed with new life.

From Message #802 – The Divine Hunt
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:11

Today’s Mission – Today, make it your goal to actively pursue God with passion! Run – do not walk – after Him.

Paper Like A Knife

Wednesday, June 11, 2025

A piece of paper is one of the weakest and most flimsy of substances. But paper can be dangerous. Have you ever had a paper cut? How can something as fragile as a piece of paper cut you as if it were a knife? It’s because the edge of the paper has the potential of focusing the weight and the strength of the paper into the smallest of spaces. When you focus something, it increases the force, so a paper can actually become as strong as a knife. It’s true of sheets of paper, and it’s true for your life and walk in God. If you’re all over the place, it’s unlikely you’ll accomplish great things or live a great life for God. If you’re focused- on Him, on His kingdom, on His purposes- then everything changes. The power you have gets multiplied. Paul was focused and look what He did. So set your focus; be single-minded, fixing your eyes on Messiah doing all things with one purpose. A focused life in God can cut through the greatest problems and even change the world.

From Message #1195 – Sharp
Scripture: Romans 8:5

Today’s Mission – Today, be single-minded, fixing your eyes on Messiah and doing all things with one purpose.

Scripture: Romans 8:5

Today’s Mission – Today, be single-minded, fixing your eyes on Messiah and doing all things with one purpose.

How to Perform The Zarak

Tuesday, June 10, 2025

In the sacrifices of the Bible, there was often a special act performed at the end of the offering. It was called the “Zarak”. It was the sprinkling or the applying of the blood. On Yom Kippur, the blood of the sacrifice had to be sprinkled on the Mercy Seat itself. Messiah is the fulfillment of all the sacrifices of the Bible. Thus, it means that those who partake of His sacrifice must in some way perform the Zarak, the sprinkling of the blood. How do you perform the Zarak? You apply the blood of Messiah- the love of God poured out, the mercy and forgiveness of His atonement- to every area of your life. You apply it to your home, to your workplace, to your marriage, to your children, to your emotions, to your sins, to your past, to your anger, to your unforgiveness, to your fears, to your dreams, to your conscience, to your heart- to everything. The sacrifice of Messiah is a Zarak, and it’s for you to perform- on everything.

From Message #1194 – Footsteps On The Altar
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:19

Today’s Mission – Today, perform the Zarak and apply the blood of Messiah to every area of your life.

Waiting for The Bride

Monday, June 9, 2025

When I got married, there was a hairdresser who volunteered to do the hair for all the bridesmaids. The problem was that she didn’t exactly know what she was doing and they ended up looking like the bride… of Frankenstein. So I was waiting for my bride and her maids for two hours! Fortunately, there were a lot of recording artists present to keep everyone busy, but I wouldn’t recommend that any bride come two hours late to her own wedding. In the same way, the Scripture tells us that Messiah is the Bridegroom and He’s looking for a bride who is prepared and ready for the wedding. That’s you. Your wedding is coming, and the only time you have to prepare for it is your days on earth. Make the most of every moment. Use it to become more spiritually beautiful, more loving, more pure, more righteous, more filled with the Holy Spirit and grace. This is the only time you have, and you don’t want to be late for your own wedding. You want to come out looking like the Bride of Messiah – not the Bride of Frankenstein!

From Message #334 – The Great Preparation
Scripture: 1John 3:3

Today’s Mission – Today, make it your aim to become a more beautiful person. Make the most of every moment to become more like Messiah.

The Blessings of The Shalem

Friday, June 6, 2025

Among the sacrifices of the Bible, one was called the “Shalem.” The root word behind this sacrifice means “peace” but also “to make complete“. Messiah is the fulfillment of all the sacrifices of the Bible, and certainly of the Shalem. If you live with a spirit of want, discontent, neediness, desperation, unhappiness, selfish-ambition, regret, longing, etc., it means that you’re not complete. Even in salvation, most believers live as if they were incomplete people. But Messiah is the Shalem Sacrifice. That means that He died not only to save you from sin, but to make you complete. It means that in Messiah, it’s not only God’s will that you become complete, but that you have the power to see it happen. What’s the key? The closer you get to the Shalem Sacrifice, the more the power of completion and wholeness will become yours. Messiah is that sacrifice. Therefore, get close to Him- in prayer, in the Word, in devotion, and in love. Your life will become more and more complete, full and whole, the closer you get to the the Shalem Sacrifice.

From Message #1180 – The Shilameem
Scripture: Hebrews 4:16

Today’s Mission – Is there an area where you feel lacking today? Invite Messiah into it and allow Him to make you whole.

The Scare House

Wednesday, June 4, 2025

Did you ever go through an attraction that was supposed to scare you? It may have been called a scare or haunted house, and as you rode or walked through it, it was dark. Sound’s better like this – as you rode through it in the dark, you might have even felt hands touching you, and heard scary noises. You had to tell yourself that it was just part of an amusement park, the danger wasn’t real, the monsters were fake, and ultimately nothing was going to happen to you. In this world, there are many threats, dangers, problems and other things to fear. And yet, if you’re a believer, the Bible says that God causes all things to work together for good for your sake. That means that even the scariest of situations and the worst of problems, for you, is like being in one of those rides or houses at a carnival. Though the problem may look scary, ultimately it’s nothing. Even the enemy’s worst attacks are ultimately going to be turned around for your good. Believe the good, disbelieve the evil and trust in the Lord. For at worst, your biggest problem is only a carnival ride.

From Message #1181 – The Psalm Of Abundant Life
Scripture: Jeremiah 32:27

Today’s Mission – Today, be confident that the Lord is in control and that that problem or situation will ultimately be turned around for your good.

The Passover Buffet

Thursday, June 5, 2025

The “Lord’s Supper” was a “Passover Seder”, the same meal the Jewish people partake of every year at Passover. However, the Passover is not just a meal, it’s a service. The one who leads it is the one who serves the matzah and all the other required foods. It’s not a buffet- you let the leader serve you. Thus, the Lord’s Supper is not about serving yourself, it’s about being served. When you sit at the Lord’s Table, He’s the one who serves you the bread of life. Messiah is love, and He wants you to learn of love as well. Too often, even as believers, we live to serve ourselves. But in the Lord’s Supper, God is saying in effect, “I’ll take care of your needs. I’ll give you the bread of life and the new wine of joy. Sit at My table and let Me minister to you.” So, first receive and then you can live your life serving- not yourself, but others. Sit at the Lord’s Table and let Him minister to you. Then in His love, serve another, because this life is not a buffet- it’s the Lord’s Supper.

From Message #1399 – The Passover Mysteries
Scripture: Matthew 20:28

Today’s Mission – Spend time today at the Lord’s Table. Let Him serve you so that you can serve others.

THE GROUND ZERO OF PROPHECY June 01-2025

Image

Sunday, June 1, 2025

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
The geographical center of end-time prophecy is Israel. And so in the last century, we have witnessed the return of the Jewish people to Israel and the turning of the world’s focus to that long-abandoned land. But the center of Israel and the center of end-time prophecy is Jerusalem. Jerusalem is Israel’s holy city, its capital, and the place to which Messiah will return. So in 1967, in June, this very month, the focus sharpened on the city of Jerusalem as God restored Israel to its holy city.
But the ultimate geographic center of Jerusalem is the Temple Mount – and thus the ultimate center of end-time prophecy. The Temple Mount is the ground on which the Temple of God will be rebuilt. It is the holy ground that the Antichrist will desecrate. And it is the site from which Messiah will reign on earth. Therefore, we would expect that the Temple Mount would become the most contested and fought over piece of real estate on planet earth – and so it has. Israel still allows the Muslim authority to run it and have daily control. Much of the Muslim world still vows to completely take it over from Israel (along with Jerusalem). And Jewish people are still largely prevented from praying or observing the commands of God on their holiest site.
In The Dragon’s Prophecy, I share a mystery concerning the Mount: that behind the invasion of Hamas on October 7 was not Gaza or Palestinian nationalism – it was the Temple Mount. Even the code name given by Hamas for the attack referred to the Temple Mount. It turns out that it was an event that took place on that Mount earlier that year that led to the Gaza invasion of Israel. So behind October 7, was actually the ground zero of end-time prophecy, the holy Temple Mount of God.
It doesn’t make sense in the natural. But we’re not dealing in the natural. In the supernatural it all makes sense. The enemy knows that if the Jewish people return to that mountain, God’s purposes, God’s prophecies, God’s kingdom will be fulfilled. So he will do everything in his power to stop it. October 7 was exactly that – the enemy seeking to stop the prophetic purposes of God.
And yet in recent times, something unprecedented has happened – Jewish people have again been praying to God on their sacred mount. Even this past Feast of Trumpets, the trumpets of God sounded on that mountain. Keep your eyes on the mountain. Even though it looks impossible, what God foretold will come to pass. And this month, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God promises those who do, will prosper! And may God greatly bless you as you do!

By Himself

Thursday, May 8, 2025

When Abraham passed the greatest test of his life in offering up Isaac, his only son, as a sacrifice on Moriah, the Lord said an interesting thing. He said this: “By Myself, I have sworn.” What does that mean? When you swear by something, you’re offering that something up as a guarantee. Thus God is saying that His promise is backed up by His very life. He’s putting up His own existence as the guarantee of His promise and word. Therefore, the Word of God and the promises of God are backed up by the strongest possible backing – the existence of God. The Lord is unchangeable! Thus, His promises are likewise unchangeable. God backs up His word with His life. And He did just that when He offered up His own life on Calvary, and on the very mountain where Abraham offered up Isaac. So be encouraged and take God’s Word at full strength. For the Word of God and the promises of God for your life are true, good, powerful, and unchanging. His promises are all backed up by the most powerful thing in existence – the very life of God.

From Message #1142 – The Omega Oath
Scripture: Hebrews 6:17,18

Today’s Mission – Today, take a promise of God from His word and believe at full strength, as guaranteed by His very life.

The Best Part

Wednesday, May 7, 2025

When Martha complained to Messiah that her sister Mary wasn’t helping in the preparations and just sitting at his feet, the Lord gives an interesting answer. He tells her that only one thing is necessary and Mary has chosen the better part. What was necessary? Sitting at His feet was the better part. When we think of what’s needed in our lives, we think of food, shelter, clothing, making ends meet, having a job, marriage, a house, and maybe even ministry. But what the Lord is saying is that the only thing that is really needed is that you be in His presence. And it’s not only the most necessary thing, it’s the best thing – better than pleasure, better than riches, better than life. If that’s the case, and He says it is, how much more importance must we start placing on being with the Lord. Make a commitment to set a portion of each day doing nothing but being in His presence. Schedule the time. Block it out. Let nothing squeeze it out of your schedule. It’s what you need more than anything else… and it’s the best part.

From Message #1141 – Out Of The Perisphere
Scripture: Psalm 95:2

Today’s Mission – Today, commit to setting a portion of the day, and each day, doing nothing but being in His presence. Treat it as the best part of your day.

The Already Fallen Foe

Tuesday, May 6, 2025

The Bible describes the enemy as one who has fallen. Messiah speaks of seeing him having fallen from heaven. The Epistles speak of him being defeated by the power of Salvation. So for you, it means your enemy is fallen, and the fight you have to fight is with a fallen enemy. How do you fight a fallen enemy? For starters, by realizing he’s fallen. When you’re dealing with your next problem, don’t panic, don’t get down, don’t get discouraged, don’t sin, don’t lose your peace, and don’t get bent out of shape. Keep your peace, keep your eyes on the Lord, stay confident, stand, and rejoice. The good fight of faith is not about fighting enemies or problems, but is just that – the fight of faith. You fight with faith. You war by warring in faith. In the natural, the enemy may look strong. But in truth, and in the eyes of faith, he’s already defeated. Start seeing Him that way. Start fighting that way. Fight only an already fallen enemy, an already fallen problem, an already defeated trouble. Because when you do that, you will win an already-won battle.

From Message #1140 – Cast Down The Gods
Scripture: Ephesians 6:11

Today’s Mission – Today, look at your problems, your conflicts, your challenges a new way – as already won – and overcome in that victory.

The Celebrator

Monday, May 5, 2025

The word for Jew in Hebrew is Yehudi. The Bible says in Ephesians that if you are born again, you are now a fellow citizen of Israel. You are spiritually Jewish, a spiritual Yehudi. But what does the word ‘Jew’ mean? The word “Jew,” or “Yehudi,” can be translated as “the one who celebrates.” What does that mean for you? That means that you have to be known as someone who celebrates – one who celebrates God, celebrates salvation, and celebrates all His blessings in your life. Is that you, or do you do more complaining than celebrating? Complaining is the opposite of celebrating. If you live a life of complaining and negativity, or even of fear or bitterness, then you’re sinning against your own life; against your own identity and calling as a Yehudi. So start celebrating. Start celebrating that God loves you, that you’re not going to hell, that you’ve been saved, that you’re going to heaven, that you have food, shelter, clothing, breath, life, and the joy of knowing Him. For those who truly know God can’t help but celebrate!

From Message #1139 – The Yehudim
Scripture: 2 Chronicles 30:23

Today’s Mission – Today, celebrate the goodness of the Lord with thanksgiving and joy.

A Hand full of Fruit

Friday, May 2, 2025

The Feast of Sukkot was the last great feast of Israel during the sacred year. In order to celebrate it, you had to bring the fruit of your fields to Jerusalem to present to the Lord. The Lord specifically told them not to go up to Jerusalem empty-handed, but with fruit. God didn’t want rotten fruit, leftover fruit, spoiled fruit, diseased fruit, or even waxed fruit. The Feast of Tabernacles is a picture of the Kingdom of God to come. So what it’s telling us, is that it’s not just that you’re going to stand before God, but that you have something to give Him. You can’t appear before Him empty-handed. You need to bless Him with fruit, the fruit of those who were saved through you, the fruit of good and pure works done for Him, the fruit of joy, love, and blessing. The Israelites had to bring fruit to the Feast of Tabernacles. You have to do the same. So live in a way now that on that day you will be filled with fruit to give. For the Lord desires fruit… the fruit of your life.

From Message #1135 – The Moedeem And The Mystery Of Your Life
Scripture: John 15:4

Today’s Mission – Today, abide in the vine and produce fruit that glorifies God.

ROLLING BACK THE GODDESS

Thursday, May 1, 2025

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
In The Return of the Gods, I write of the three gods that were central in the fall of Israel, Baal, Molech, and Ishtar. The same three whom I call the Dark Trinity have returned to the West and to America. Ishtar was the goddess of sexual immorality and, specifically, of gender bending, gender confusion, and gender transitioning. Up until recently, the agenda of Ishtar has been progressively taking over American and Western culture.
In October 2024, I was in Washington, D.C. with Lou Engle at a mass gathering on the National Mall. I was led to pray specifically against that agenda and that spirit. At the end of the prayer, I smashed the Altar of Ishtar. Less than a month later, Donald Trump was elected president. Since then, we have witnessed something we have never before witnessed, something many believed would never come – the rolling back of the agenda of Ishtar.
The new president has sought to ban gender surgery (mutilation) on children, to remove all LGBT propaganda from the Department of Defense, the Department of Education, the State Department, and onward. The new administration has made it official that the American government will recognize that there are only two genders – male and female. The new State Department under Marco Rubio, has ordered that the only flag that will fly on American embassies will not be the rainbow flag but the American flag. The new administration has also ordered that biological men are not to compete in sports against biological women – and on and on and on. On top of this, the massive wave and rolling back of this agenda, has spread from government into the larger cultural realm.
What we are witnessing is a potential cultural and societal revolution. In many ways, it stands as the reversal of what began in the 1960s when America began overtly removing God from its public life. And, in many ways, it parallels the biblical accounts of what would happen when a king arose who sought to follow the ways of God, a Jehoshaphat, a Hezekiah, a Josiah – and a Jehu.
At the same time, as I have written here in past months, it is crucial that we do not now become complacent. While we are encouraged by the political and cultural changes we must take heed. America’s departure from God was not primarily political or even cultural – but spiritual. And only a spiritual turning – as in revival – can ultimately turn it back. Without that, the rest won’t last and the spirits will return in force. Join me in praying for revival in earnest, for real, and as never before. And resolve this month, no matter what, to live in revival. And May God greatly bless you as you do!

Your brother and co-laborer
in His love and service,

Virtually Entering The Holy

Wednesday, April 30, 2025

I have a program on my computer that gives a virtual tour of the Temple Mount. It takes you through the Temple Gates, the Temple courts, and into the Holy of Holies. So I started going into the virtual Holy of Holies. Then one day I wanted to show a friend. So I led him through the Temple in this virtual tour and to the Holy of Holies. But for some reason, the computer program wouldn’t let us in, no matter what we did. Later on, after he left, I tried again to get into the Holy of Holies, and it worked. I don’t know what caused the computer to do this – but there is a spiritual truth here. The Holy of Holies was small, and only one person could be there at a time. It had to be just one person; just you… and God. Do you want to enter the Holy of Holies of God; to get into the real place of His presence, His glory, and His blessings? Then you’re going to have to do it alone, in your quiet time… just you… and Him.

From Message #1133 – Him
Scripture: Hebrews 4:16

Today’s Mission – Today, enter into the Holy of Holies – just you and God.

Holy as a Verb

Tuesday, April 29, 2025

We think of holiness as a noun. Holiness is a state of being holy. It’s true. But in Hebrew, there’s much more to it. In Hebrew, the word Holy is ‘Kodesh.’ It’s a noun or adjective. But it comes in another form – in the word ‘Kadash.’ Kadash is Holy as a verb. Aaron wasn’t holy by nature, but he was ‘kadashed,’ made holy, transformed into what is holy. So, too, the holy vessels and instruments of the Tabernacle. The holy things weren’t holy by nature, but holy by the fact that they had been ‘kadashed,’ ‘holyfied,’ made holy. Do you want to be holy? It doesn’t matter where you’re coming from, or what you’ve done in the past. Commit your life and everything you have to the Lord’s purposes and away from those purposes which are not of God, away from that sin, away from that indulgence. When you do that, you’re performing the act of ‘kadash.’ And you will become God’s holy vessel. For in Messiah, holiness is not just a noun, but a verb – Get kadashed and act accordingly!

From Message #1132 – Kadosh
Scripture: Hebrews 10:14

Today’s Mission – Today, commit your life and everything you have to the Lord’s purposes and away from those purposes which are not of Him.

The Awakened Sleepers

Monday, April 28, 2025

There’s a famous movie called “Awakenings” based on a true story of a group of people who succumbed to a “sleeping disease” in the 1920s. And they fell asleep. They fell asleep for days, weeks, months, years, decades. And decades later, they woke up, to find they had slept most of their lives away. For most of them, their awakening was miraculous. But the sad part was, they all started reverting, and soon had fallen back into their sleep. There’s a spiritual side to this. Once we were all spiritually asleep to God. But when we were born again, we woke up. And it was a whole new world. But, very often, as the years go by, believers lose their zeal, their gratitude, their wonder, and their joy. They start falling back into other things; they start falling spiritually asleep. When you’re falling asleep, most of the time you don’t even realize it. Don’t let that be you. Awaken your spiritual zeal, and your first love again. As it is written, “Wake up, sleeper! Rise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”

From Message #1131 – Awakening
Scripture: Romans 13:11

Today’s Mission – Today, awaken your spiritual zeal and your first love for God.

The Good Samaritan Experiments

Friday, April 25, 2025

An experiment: You’re driving in your car, you’re on the main road, there’s another line of cars turning into your lane, and the people ahead of you aren’t letting them in. Here’s the experiment. Let the person come in ahead of you. Then look in your rearview mirror to see what happens in back of you. Most likely, the people in back of you will do exactly the same thing and let the next person come in ahead of them. Why? Because people are affected by people, for good or bad… and not just in traffic. The point is, your life counts, your witness makes a difference, your actions touch the world, and impact those around you, even the unsaved. So make a difference. Dare to be different, to go against the system. Don’t do as the others are doing, but be like Messiah. Love your enemies, reach out to the stranger, do good to those who don’t deserve it, bless someone for no other reason but God. Be a light. And the Light of all lights will light up the darkness. It just can’t help it. Impact your world!

From Message #1127 – Freely
Scripture: Matthew 5:7

Today’s Mission – Today, love your enemies, reach out to the stranger, and do good to those who don’t deserve it. Impact your world.

The Mute Button Test

Wednesday, April 23, 2025

If you press the mute button on your remote control, the sound is removed. You would think that this would hide what’s happening – but it can actually be revealing. If you’re watching a video of a liar, and you press mute, you won’t hear the lies anymore, and you’ll start noticing the body language, and signs of the person lying. When you take away the words, there are no words to deceive, just the reality. Many believers talk a good talk. But if you turned on the mute button and cut out the words and just saw their real life, every day, you might see a very different story. What about you? What if you pressed the mute button on your life… no more words… just your real life; where it’s really going and where it’s not? Would it speak of God’s love and life-changing power anyway? Turn on the mute button. Look at your real life. If it doesn’t hold up, make the change you need to make. So that with words or no words it will consistently lift up the name of the Lord… mute button or not.

From Message #1125 – Don’t Look Back
Scripture: Ephesians 5:8

Today’s Mission – Today, turn on the mute button and look at your real life. If it doesn’t hold up, make the change you need to make.

Your “Let There Be”

Monday, April 21, 2025

In the beginning, God said, “Let there be light” and there was light. God created the universe through His Word. Therefore the enemy wars against the Word of God because His Word brings life. But the enemy seeks to bring death, and he does so by attempting to remove God’s Word. That’s what he did in the Garden. And that’s what he does in your life. The enemy is always trying to keep the Word away from your life, from your ears, from your real understanding, from your heart, from your actions, and away from your real day to day, down to earth life. He will try to do that by keeping you away from the Bible, or from hearing the Word, from really receiving it, and putting it into action. So all the more make it your aim to receive the Word that God has for your life, every day of your life, and apply it to action. For in the Word, is a “Let there be” for your life. Get into the Word and let the Word get into you… and it will be so.

From Message #814 – The Dragon’s Mouth
Scripture: Jeremiah 15:16

Today’s Mission – Today, receive the Word that God has for your life and let it become part of you.

How to Avoid a Crash

Friday, April 18, 2025

It was the last day of summer camp. I was ‘going steady’ with a girl named Madge, and we were ‘in love.’ As she was leaving, I was waving goodbye and walking away; waving and walking, looking at her in one direction and walking in the other. I ended up walking straight into a tree. The moral of the story is you can’t walk ahead if you’re looking behind. It’s a spiritual truth as well. If you dwell on the past; what people did to you; how you’re life went or didn’t go; if you hold unforgiveness or grudges, you’ll hinder yourself from moving ahead in your life with the Lord. If you keep on looking back at what people are saying about you, instead of keeping your eyes on the Lord, you won’t move ahead. The Lord is always ahead of you, and that’s where you have to focus. Paul said, “Forgetting what lies behind, I press on…” You do the same. For the Lord is ahead of you. Your calling and the blessings God has for you, are ahead of you. So make that the direction of your life… forward.

From Message #1116 – You’re Being Followed
Scripture: Proverbs 4:25

Today’s Mission – Today, get your focus on the Lord, forget what lies behind, and press on.

Cleaning up Your Mess

Thursday, April 17, 2025

When you were a little child, your parents probably gave you this rule: “If you make a mess, clean it up.” If you messed up your room, you had to clean it up. Why is it that we knew this rule as children, but as adults, we often forget it? It’s Biblical. When Zacchaeus, the corrupt tax collector got saved, he was led by the Spirit to go back to the people he cheated and make it up to them, more than make it up to them. He made a mess, and the grace of God led him to clean it up. God’s grace doesn’t exempt you from cleaning up your messes – Rather, it gives you the power to clean them up. Are there messes in your life? Have you hurt someone, failed someone, cheated someone, or mistreated another? Have you not served the Lord as you should, not been the husband, wife, parent or child you should have been? Those are your messes. By God’s grace and power, clean them up, make them right, and redeem them. For if you make a mess, you clean it up.

From Message #1115 – Children of Abba
Scripture: Matthew 23:26

Today’s Mission – Today, ask the Lord to show you what mess He would like you to clean up. Then get busy cleaning.

The Father’s Embarrassment

Wednesday, April 16, 2025

When my father was a child and his parents took him out to a restaurant, he would sneak off and go to other tables and beg for their food. When my grandparents realized what was happening, they were embarrassed. It made it seem as if they weren’t taking care of their own child. In the same way, when we as God’s children go through life desperate, trying to gain acceptance or love from others, or joy and fulfillment from the world, it’s an embarrassment to our Heavenly Father. What it’s saying is that He doesn’t really provide for His children, so that they have to go begging, and have to live in need. God is a good Father, but we, His children, don’t often realize it. If you’re not rejoicing, you’re embarrassing your Heavenly father. You’re a child of the Most High. That means that no matter what it looks like, you’re blessed, you’re rich, you’re loved, full, and overflowing. The only appropriate response to salvation is joy. So rejoice, and be blessed. Act like a child of the King. Because that’s what you are. Anything else is an embarrassment.

From Message #1114 – The Good Joy
Scripture: Psalm 33:21

Today’s Mission – Today, live every moment as a blessed and beloved child of the King.

The Shekhina’s Departure

Tuesday, April 15, 2025

In Ezekiel 10, the prophet is given an amazing vision. He sees the glory of the Lord going up from the Holy Place, leaving the Temple, going out past the Eastern Gate, up to the Mount of Olives, and then departing from Israel. This was a sign that with God’s presence gone, the Temple of Jerusalem would be destroyed. In the year 586 B.C., it was destroyed. The Second Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. Forty years before the Temple was destroyed Messiah left Jerusalem and this world. And He did it according to the pattern of Ezekiel. He went east of the city, and up to the Mount of Olives. From there He left the earth. Messiah is in the Presence of God. And until He returns, Israel is like that Temple, missing the most important thing. That’s true for us as well… even as believers. If He isn’t the very center of your life, the center of your day, your home, your thoughts, your dreams, and your heart, then things will never be right. Put Messiah in the center of every moment, and His Glory will never depart from your life!

From Message #1112 – The Yoma Mysteries
Scripture: Psalm 51:11

Today’s Mission – Today, put Messiah in the center of every moment and delight in the glory of His presence.

Thirteen Thousand British Soldiers

Monday, April 14, 2025

In 1864, Emperor Tewodros II of Abyssinia imprisoned a representative of the British government named Cameron along with his staff and several missionaries in a mountain fortress called Magdala. When the Emperor refused to release them, a British rescue expedition was launched. It included 13,000 British and Indian soldiers, 26,000 camp followers, and over 40,000 animals including 44 elephants. The entire campaign took several months, crossing hundreds of miles of mountainous terrain. It was described as one of the most expensive rescues in history, for a total cost to the British Empire of about £9,000,000. And yet, the most costly rescue ever sent out for anyone was sent out for you. For God so loved you that He gave His only begotten Son that you would never perish but have everlasting life. There is no higher price than that and no greater love that you can ever know. He gave His life so your life would become worthy. Live your life in a manner worthy of the price given to redeem it; a price even greater than 13,000 British soldiers.

From Message #527 – The Price
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1

Today’s Mission – Today, live your life in a manner worthy of the price given to redeem it.

The Other way to Love

Friday, April 11, 2025

Ephesians 5:25 says, “Husbands love your wives as Messiah loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” It doesn’t say, “husbands love your wives your own way,” because how you love may leave much to be desired. But your love for your wife isn’t based on ‘your love’ or your lack of it. And it’s not dependent on her or how she loves. She isn’t perfect- she makes mistakes, she forgets things, she’s not as young and likely not as beautiful a she once was. Rather, love your wife as Messiah loves you. Chances are you’re not perfect yourself and haven’t been the spotless bride to God you’re called to be. But He loves you anyway, and that’s how you became beautiful. Love your loved one the same way- not as you would love them, but as Messiah loves you. He doesn’t love you because you’re beautiful, He loves you that you might become beautiful. Love others the same way, especially those who are hardest to love, and who knows- your love may help them become beautiful as well.

From Message #436 – Man to Woman
Scripture: Ephesians 5:25-33

Today’s Mission – Today, make a decision to love the one person that is hard for you to love. Don’t look at what they do or don’t do, but love them as Messiah loves you.

But I say to you

Thursday, April 10, 2025

Messiah said, “You have heard it said… but I say to you”. Notice, the first phrase, “You have heard it said,” is speaking of an event that takes place in the third person. It’s said to somebody by someone, somewhere. The second phrase, “But I say unto you,” is said in the first person. It’s not just somebody talking, it’s ‘I AM’ talking personally and directly to you. Messiah is declaring everything you’ve heard that isn’t from His mouth to you is not to you anymore. That means that every hurtful word you’ve heard in your life, words of gloom and evil, even if it was said to you, are no longer to you now in Messiah. Don’t take it personally. It’s now only hearsay, something you hear was said, but it’s no longer to you. But take the Word of God personally. Take His truth, His promises, His comfort, His love, and His calling and no longer treat it as if it was said to somebody else. Take God’s Word as if He was speaking it directly and personally to you, because He is.

From Message #394 – But I Say to You
Scripture: 1 John 2:25

Today’s Mission – Today, take a word from the Word of God and receive it as directly from Messiah, personally given to you.

Messiah in Tears

Wednesday, April 9, 2025

The Hebrew word Immanuel or in English Immanuel is actually a sentence: Im means ‘with,’ anu means ‘us,’ and El means ‘God‘. God is with us. Messiah’s name is not just a name, it’s a Hebrew sentence. Whatever He did in His life, He was ‘God is with us’ doing it. In John 11 it says, “Messiah, wept.” Messiah in sorrow and tears was Immanuel in sorrow and tears. That spells out a message- “God is with us in sorrow and tears.” Having God in your life doesn’t mean you’ll be exempt from sorrow and tears, but it means you’ll never be alone. God will be with you in all things, at all times. Even when you feel far from His presence, His presence is never far. For God is with you in your sorrows and tears. Even in your deepest pain, He will be just as much there as He ever was, and even more so. You will find that if you look, He is there as Immanuel weeping with you and loving you, just beyond your tears.

From Message #351 – Immanuel I
Scripture: Psalm 34:18

Today’s Mission – Spend time in the presence of God today. Be still and know that He is with you in all things.

The Beast in The Cave

Tuesday, April 8, 2025

A young photographer walking in a forest in Maine spotted a cave and decided to photograph what was inside. To reveal what was in the dark, he set up a time exposure. Inside the cave, hidden from his naked eye but revealed by the time exposure, what a huge mountain lion, crouched and ready to attack. If not for the time exposure he wouldn’t have known that his life had come close to death. So it is with you. God tells you to stay away from sin and darkness, but we don’t always listen. Sometimes we play by the mouth of the cave. We play around with lust, idolatry, gossip, worldliness, greed, bitterness, carnality, temptation, sin. But lurking inside every sin is a beast waiting to destroy you. It’s hidden in the dark. But, as in the time exposure, with the passage of time the destruction inside every sin will be exposed. Don’t play around with any sin, don’t hang out by its entrance, give it no room. Renounce the darkness and stay clear of the beast within it.

From Message #1707 – The Serpenthead Principle
Scripture: Proverbs 1:10

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim today to stay far from evil, temptation, and sin. Don’t even go near its door.

The Zebakh

Monday, April 7, 2025

Zebakh is Hebrew for sacrifice. The priests of Israel would offer up daily the zebakh; the sacrificial offerings on the altar of God. They never offered up doctrines, stories, talk, or religion- only sacrifices. As in the days of the temple, our faith centers on a Zebakh; the sacrificial offering of Messiah’s life. God did not offer up a doctrine on Calvary. Thus, the offering of our faith isn’t words, it’s the life of Messiah. Unlike every other religion or philosophy, our faith never consists of just words, doctrines, or even teachings. It consists of an actual life-giving offering. Therefore, your walk must never consist primarily of words, doctrine, or even talk about the Lord. That’s good, but it must consist of the Sacrifice, the Lord Himself, His very life. Thus, the offering you give back to God must likewise never be words but real life on His altar. Leave all the issues and concerns of your life which are beside the point and get back to Calvary. There you will find the Zebakh, the true offering given to you- the very life of God.

From Message #957 – The Vow: The Sacrifice Mysteries I
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:5

Today’s Mission – Go beyond religion and doctrine today and get to the very reality and presence of God.

The Measurable Miracle

Friday, April 4, 2025

Acts 1:3 says Messiah appeared and presented Himself by many convincing proofs. This verse separates our faith from every faith of the ancient world outside of Israel. None of the ancient gods presented themselves with many convincing proofs. But Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth is no myth. He is God come to earth. So He presented Himself with measurable proofs, empirical, tangible, palpable evidence. He appeared after the resurrection and presented many convincing, touchable proofs. If you live in the power of the resurrection, you, too, have to demonstrate it in a very touchable and practical way. Not just once, but with consistency and with many convincing proofs. Show them the power of total change in your life; the power of victory, the power of overcoming, the power of joy over sorrow, forgiveness, and life over death. They want to see it. Show them the tomb is empty. Show them the stone is rolled away in your life and show them that God’s love has conquered all death and darkness and show them with many convincing proofs.

From Message #265 – The Sequel
Scripture: Acts 1:3-9

Today’s Mission – Today, show others that the stone is rolled away in your life by your actions and deeds. Show the world a measurable

The Two Loves of The Father

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

A minister once overheard one of his children admonishing the other saying, “You have to be good, or father won’t love you.” He called his children in and explained, “That isn’t really true. I will love you whether you behave good or bad. When your behavior is good, I’ll love you with a love that makes me glad. But when you behave badly, I’ll love you with a love that hurts me.” If you’re born again, your Heavenly Father’s love is greater, not lesser, than that of an earthly parent. Thus when you do good, God loves you with joy. When you do bad, God still loves you, but He will discipline you. God loves you either way. Let His love overwhelm your failings and His faithfulness overwhelm your lack of it. No matter where or what, His love for you will be deeper than the waters of the sea and higher than the heights of heaven. But rise up from that sin because He loves you, and because every beloved child wants his or her father to smile with joy.

From Message #1414 – Orphans of the Father
Scripture: Proverbs 13:24

Today’s Mission – Today, let His love overwhelm your failings and His

WORD TO THE PRESIDENT

Tuesday, April 1, 2025

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission…
I’ve been asked about the word I gave to Donald Trump eight days before he was reelected president. Our hope is in no man but God. But God uses man, kings, and leaders for His purposes. In this critical time, we need to pray for God’s purposes to be accomplished. So here now, with minimal editing to fit this page, is that word:

WORD TO THE PRESIDENT

Mr. President, I speak of the mystery of your life. You were born on June 14, 1946. From ages past, it was appointed that on that day a scripture would be recited throughout the world. The scripture that was appointed for the day of your birth spoke of the bringing of God’s vessel – a trumpet into the world. President Trump, you were born into the world to be a trumpet of God – a vessel of the Lord in the hands of God.
God called you according to the template of Jehu, the warrior king. He called Jehu to make his nation great again. Jehu came to the capital city with an agenda to drain the swamp. Jehu forged an alliance with the religious conservatives of the land so it was your destiny to do the same.
Jehu overturned the cult of Baal by which children were sacrificed. So God used you to overturn America’s cult of Baal – Roe versus Wade – by which millions of babies were sacrificed.
If He should now bring you back to the heights of power, it will be for His purposes. It will be the last act and may be America’s last chance of redemption. But for that to happen, you must seek Him with all your heart, follow Him with all your might.
Jehu was born to make his nation great again by turning it back to God – so were you. But America can only be great again if America turns back to God. You are a trumpet of God, and the trumpet can only fulfill its purpose if it’s filled with the breath of the one who holds it up and blows through it. God is the one who lifted you up, and He wills that you be filled with the breath of His Spirit.
God is calling you to go all out for Him, and if you do, then what follows will be the greatest and most glorious part. Then you will be the vessel God uses to bring America back to touch history and to change the world. For the Lord has spoken, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart.” Now, arise and shine for your light is come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. To the glory and in the name above all names, the name of Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua – The light of the world – The Messiah of Israel – The King of all kings, and the only hope America has that it might yet again shine with the light of the fire of the power of the glory of the living God. Amen.
Let us pray this month that God has His way with the president, with America, and the world. And may God greatly bless you this month as you do!

Your brother and co-laborer
in His love and service,

The Ploughed Life

Monday, March 31, 2025

Plowing is a process of breaking up and turning over the soil. Soil needs plowing so it doesn’t become hard, dry, and unreceptive to growing life. What’s true for soil is also true for your heart. The heart left on its own tends to become hard. The natural effect of time is to make your heart more and more unreceptive to God’s word, His love, and His life. The answer is Spirit plowing. Hosea 10:12 says, “Break up your fallow ground: it’s time to seek the Lord…” Has your walk become dry, or has your heart become hard to His voice? Learn to plow your heart. Plow open your life and your heart, break up your routine, your patterns, your rut, that habit, your daily life. Open up your life to the plowing of the Spirit. Take a day just to seek the Lord and be filled. Let Him break open that crust and turn your life over to receive the wonders of His grace. Break up your fallow ground. It is time to seek the Lord.

From Message #715 – Your Fallow Ground
Scripture: Ezekiel 36:26

Today’s Mission – Today, take time to just seek the Lord and be filled. Open up your life to the plowing of the Spirit.

The Evil of The Righteous

Thursday, March 27, 2025

As children of God, we should know what is right and holy, and what is sin and to be condemned. In looking around us, we see a world filled with sinners- dishonest, materialistic, bitter, prideful, stubborn, sensual, manipulative, abusive, greedy, self-centered… sinners. We feel good that as children of God we’re holy and blameless, but we still have to deal with all these sinners. In Hebrew, the word rasha means sin and evil, but the same world also means to cast judgment. When you cast judgment on people for being more sinful than you or think that you’re more holy, your judgment doesn’t make you more righteous, but more sinful. When you judge other believers or churches for being less spiritual than you are, you just became less spiritual. When you judge that person for not being loving, guess who also just became unloving. The true holy one is the one who keeps no record of sin. Therefore, be pure, be holy, and be innocent. Have nothing to do with ‘rasha’ either way, because those who are blameless are those who do not cast blame.

From Message #549 – None of Your Business
Scripture: Luke 6:37

Today’s Mission – Seek not to judge another today, but walk humbly in God’s presence.

There was no Book of Acts in The Book of Acts

Wednesday, March 26, 2025

What was it like to live inside the Book of Acts? For the people of the Book of Acts, there was no Book of Acts, just acts. It hadn’t been recorded yet. It wasn’t a book. It wasn’t something they just read about, or talked about, or studied, it was something they lived. The Book of Acts is not about the Book of Acts. It’s about the acts of the Holy Spirit and the acts of the Apostles. If you’re a follower of Messiah, God wants you to see the same miracles, victories, wonder, power, and the same incredible changes that the Apostles saw in the Book of Acts. But for that to happen, you have to really believe; you have to take the words off the pages and put them into real life. You have to act, because for the people in the Book of Acts, it wasn’t a book. The people of the Book of Acts didn’t read the Book of Acts, they lived it. You do the same today, and the Book of Acts will become your life and your life the Book of Acts.

The Chaldean Comic

Tuesday, March 25, 2025

Have you seen any Hittite or Amorite comedians lately? Have you consulted with a Chaldean injury lawyer, gone to an Akkadian doctor or a Babylonian dentist? No? Why not? These are the people of the ancient world, the great peoples of antiquity. You can read about them, you can go to a museum and see their writings and images on stone tablets, but none of these peoples made it into modern history. The Jewish people are just as ancient as the Babylonians. They should only be images on museum tablets, not doctors who treat your illnesses or comedians on television. But God promised He’d preserve them as His witnesses and so that they would receive their Messiah and usher in the redemption of the world. So whenever you see a Jewish person in flesh and blood, know that you’re seeing a miracle. Let it remind you that God is real, He lives, and His promises are true. So you be strong in your faith. Rejoice in God and know Messiah is coming.

From Message #39 – That You Might Know
Scripture: Romans 15:8

Today’s Mission – Spend time rejoicing in God today in the knowledge that Messiah is coming!

Shimon The Young

Monday, March 24, 2025

Luke tells of a man named Simeon, or Shimon in Hebrew. He was a remarkable man. Simeon was old. Most older people are looking for peace and quiet. Generally, we do our seeking when we’re younger, then we just try to hold on to what we have when we’re older. But Shimon was still seeking, still looking for what the prophets spoke of, the consolation of Israel. It is one thing to seek when you’re young, but one who seeks even to the end of his life never grows old; that was Shimon’s secret. Thus God rewarded him and before he left this life, his eyes beheld what others missed: the Messiah as a baby in the Temple. Messiah said, “Seek, and you shall find.” But the original reads a little differently. It says, “Keep seeking, and you shall find.” Keep seeking. Do you want to stay young in the Lord? Be like Shimon. Keep seeking God’s face, keep seeking His presence, keep seeking His love, and keep seeking His wonders and His glory. Keep seeking, and you’ll find. Keep seeking, and you’ll never grow old.

From Message #598 – The Old Man in the Temple
Scripture: Psalm 105:4

Today’s Mission – Today, keep seeking God’s face, His presence, His love, His wonders, and His glory.

The Year of Double Blessing

Friday, March 21, 2025

Shannah is the Hebrew word for year. It comes from the Hebrew ‘shnay’ ‘Shnay’ means ‘two,’ but can also be translated as ‘the doubling.’ For in Hebrew a year is supposed to be a doubling… an increase. Peter wrote that the qualities of God in your life must be increasing. It’s not enough just to go from day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year. You have to increase. For every year is a ‘Shannah,’ an increase, a doubling. What will you do with this year? Don’t seek to just get through the year. Seek to increase in what is good. This year, your love, joy, peace, faith, strength, and confidence must increase, and not only increase, but double. The Lord doesn’t just give us joy, He doubles it. He doesn’t just give us love, He doubles it. He said, “I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” So don’t worry about what the year will bring. It’s a ‘shannah.’ Use it correctly, and you’ll not only have life, but you’ll have it more abundantly. In fact, you’ll have it double.

From Message #433 – The Shannah
Scripture: Isaiah 61:7

Today’s Mission – Make it your aim not just to go through this day, but use this day to grow in the Spirit, in love, and in righteousness.

The Miracle In The Bread Box

Wednesday, March 19, 2025

Do you ever feel like you don’t have enough in your life; enough money, enough time, enough affection, or enough anything? The Lord’s Prayer says, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Do you have daily bread? You’ve probably got more than just daily bread. Chances are you have enough for the week. You may have bread enough for a few weeks. But the Bible says to pray for just daily bread. Thus daily bread is sufficient for your life. Anything beyond daily bread is extra. So if you have daily bread, consider yourself blessed. Many people don’t have even that much. But if you have bread beyond the day, then you’ve got more than enough; you’re more than blessed. Get back to the basics. If you’re saved, and you have daily bread, you’re beyond blessed. Start giving thanks for what you have, and you’ll have joy, you’ll have enough. Give thanks for all the blessings, and you’ll have more than enough. You don’t need to go any farther to find out if you’re blessed than your kitchen bread box.

From Message #888 – Extra
Scripture: Ecclesiates 5:18

Today’s Mission – Today, give thanks for your daily bread and give thanks for everything else as extra.

Heaven’s Enclave

Thursday, March 20, 2025

Philippians 3:20 says, “For our citizenship is in heaven from where we also wait for a savior.” The Greek word behind the word citizenship specifically referred to a colony of people living according to the laws of their native country outside their native country. So even though they weren’t home, they were living as if they were. What this reveals is that you are citizen of heaven, not earth. Heaven is your native land. And even though you are not presently living there, you are to be living on earth as if you were living in heaven – not ultimately subject to the laws of this world, but according to the laws of heaven. This is an incredible truth – You don’t have to be bound any more by the laws of this world, the laws of sin and death, guilt, failure, frustration, anger, regret, or fear. You don’t have to submit to any bondage. You are not of this world. Live by laws of heaven, the ways of heaven, the rights of heaven, the privileges of heaven, and the freedom of heaven. For you are a citizen of heaven!

From Message #482 – As It Is In Heaven
Scripture: Romans 8:7

Today’s Mission – Today, choose to live unbound by the laws of the flesh, and of sin and death, but live by the laws of heaven.

The Interruption of Heaven

Friday, March 14, 2025

Few people like commotion, trouble, or change. We seek peace, situations of no commotion. But if you really want a place where there’s no commotion, go to a cemetery. That which is dead does not cause any commotion. But light coming into darkness causes commotion. So the life of God coming into a dead world is going to cause commotion. When Messiah came into the world, He created a stir. When He came into Jerusalem, He caused a commotion. God’s presence causes commotion. If He’s come into your life, then there’s got to be commotion. Don’t seek to walk a commotion-free walk, or to live a commotion-free life. It will end up dead! Rather, what you need is something to get stirred up and get turned over a little bit. Let God interrupt your routine, let Him shake you out of it. Fix your eyes on God. Forget the rut, and forget the routine. Let the presence of God come fresh in your life. Let it cause a commotion! Stir it up! Because God wants to bring the cemetery in your life… to life!

From Message #526 – A Holy Commotion
Scripture: Revelation 3:2

Today’s Mission – Today, seek to be especially open to be interrupted by God’s voice, God’s leading, and God’s purposes. Let your day be stirred up by His presence.

The Day of Completion

Wednesday, March 12, 2025

God finished the work of creation on the sixth day, then rested on the seventh, the Sabbath. The sixth day is the day when work is completed. Two-thousand years ago, God again labored on the sixth day… on the cross. On the Hebrew calendar, the sixth day comes to an end as the sun sets. So it was then that Messiah finished His work, Friday afternoon, just as the sun was going down. Why? Because the sixth day is the day when one’s work must be finished. So on the cross, He said, “It is finished.” Then He rested. What does this have to do with you? Most people live in a state of incompleteness, a state that is never finished, never enough, and always needing more. But Messiah labored on the sixth day so He could finish all that is unfinished. He died to give you the gift of completion. Find your completion in Him. Take the unfinished issues of your life and bring them to the cross and say, ‘It is finished.’ Then you, as did Messiah, can likewise enter into the blessings of the seventh day.

From Message #125 – The Sixth and Seventh Day
Scripture: Revelation 21:6

Today’s Mission – Today, cease striving and rest in your completion in His complete work.

The Merging of Baal

Tuesday, March 11, 2025

Baal was a Canaanite god that competed with the Lord Yehovah. Archeologists have found ancient pottery in Israel that reveals that the ancient Israelites joined together Jehovah with Baal as the same god. They merged the two into one. So one of the greatest dangers for God’s people isn’t the overt worship of other gods, but the joining of Jehovah to Baal; the joining of the Lord to other gods. Many ministers start out serving God but end up serving success. Many ministries start out serving the Great Commission but end up serving the god of money. Others confuse God with prosperity, power, status, blessing, and success. You can’t serve God and other things, other gods. Purify your walk. Purify your goal. Purify your motives and your heart. Breakaway from serving a mixed god and come back to the God of your salvation. Because your walk is too precious to be wasting it by serving Baal in disguise.

From Message #937 – The God of a Thousand Faces
Scripture: Luke 11:36

Today’s Mission – Examine your goals and motives today and seek to act, move, and live out of pure motives and a pure heart for God’s will and purposes.
