Separating The Leper

Friday, January 13, 2023

In Mark 1:42 it says, that “the leprosy left.” A strange thing, it would be more natural to say the man was healed of leprosy. It doesn’t say that, it says the leprosy left him. Now it would be the natural thing to associate the man with the disease. The man was a leper, because he had leprosy. But, here it separates it because ultimately Messiah is going to separate the disease and the man. We often look at people by their afflictions. This man is a sinner, that one is selfish. But this one is a leper. God doesn’t see this one as a leper, He separates it. We should do the same thing. This is not a selfish person, this is a person who is under selfishness, but can be free of that selfishness. See the person not as they appear to be, but as God made them to be, and as Messiah redeemed them to become. Treat them as such and you will stop seeing lepers and you will start seeing the leprosy leave.

From Message #655 – If You Are Willing
Scripture: Mark 1:42

Today’s Mission – Put on the eyes of God today. Separate the person from their sins and their sinful identity. And see them as God made them to be – Just as God sees you.

The one who Blesses

Thursday, January 12, 2023

The word for Jew in Hebrew is Yehudi. Yehudi comes from Yahudah which means to thank, to praise. So, if you are born again, the Bible says you are a fellow citizen of Israel, you are Jewish in spirit, a Yahudah in spirit. That means your identity is to give thanks. So are you a thanker? Are you someone who praises and blesses, no matter what? That is what you are to be known for. What is the key thing that comes out of your mouth? It is to be giving thanks and being the blessing. Look at your blessings, count your blessings, number them. All you have to do is be thankful. It’s amazing how all of a sudden you are going to feel so happy, so blessed, so content, so rich, so joyful, so peaceful. Thank God every day for your salvation. Thank God for everything, because the one who is always giving thanks for all things, that’s the one who is blessed, and there is nothing more Jewish than that.

From Message #1267 -The Blesser
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Today’s Mission – Find your identity in Messiah as a blesser. Fill your day with thanksgiving and praise.

The Wilderness Leading

Wednesday, January 11, 2023

In Mark 1:12 it says, the Spirit compelled Him. That’s Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus. The Spirit compelled Him to the wilderness. People preach that God always leads us to earthly blessing, and if we are in the wilderness, something is wrong. Maybe, we don’t have enough faith, or we’re in sin. Just because you are in the wilderness, it doesn’t mean that you are not in the Spirit. It might be the Spirit Himself who took you there. We need the wilderness, the hard times, the times without, so that God can do a greater work. Messiah was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. He was led there not because He was out of God’s will, but because He was right in the center of God’s will. God has a plan. Are you being tested? Praise Him, glorify Him, obey Him, just like Messiah did. The Spirit led you in that place. The same Spirit will lead you out when God’s purposes have been accomplished; then you will be ready to take on the mantle of your greater calling.

From Message #41 – The Wilderness
Scripture: Mark 1:12

Today’s Mission – No matter what you go through today, in everything, seek to hear His voice, find your mission, and follow His leading – to victory.

The Other Heaven

Monday, August 21, 2017
The Hebrew word for heaven is Shamayim. The ‘im’ at the end makes it plural, so the word heaven means specifically two or more. Shamayim means not just heaven, it means heavens. We think of heaven as that which comes after this life is over; it’s not yet, but it will be. In one sense, yes. But that’s just one heaven, so there has to be another one. If one is then, then the other heaven is now. Heaven can’t just be a place you go to after this life, it’s got to be the place you live now. For a child of God, heaven is not just something that will happen in the future, it’s where we live now. We’ve been born from above. We’re already seated in the heavenlies. It’s not just getting into heaven, it’s about letting heaven get into you, into your life, because it’s not just heaven, it is Shamayim – heavens. Discover the secret of it and start dwelling in it right now. Don’t wait until you’re dead to start living it. Heaven is too important to not live in now.
From Message #978 – Shamayim: The Mystery of Heaven
Scripture: Eph. 2:6
TODAY’S MISSION – Learn the secret of dwelling in the heavenlies now, and live our life from heaven to earth.

Your Sacred Access

Friday, August 18, 2017
In the Scriptures, those who minister to God are called Cohanim, meaning the priests. They were those in charge of God’s service and were given access to the Holy Place behind the veil. It’s no accident that the ministers of God were given access to His presence because those who minister to God have to dwell in His presence. The only good things we can do for God are the good things we receive from Him first. Those who do the will of God are given special access to the presence of God. As a servant of God, He’s opened for you the doors of His sanctuary, to meet you in the secret place. If you’re committed to doing His will, He will open the doors to show you His glory and fill you with His power so you can do His work. Because you are a spiritual Cohanim through Messiah, serve Him with all your heart. Come into the Holy Place daily where the glory, power, and presence of God are waiting just for you, His priest. Enter in behind the veil, for that is your privilege and your access.
From Message #975 – Sailing Away
Scripture: Ps. 132:9
TODAY’S MISSION – Enter into the holy place of His presence today and minister to Him in His presence, as His priest.

The Promised Land In All Places

Wednesday, August 16, 2017
Eretz is a Hebrew word used in scripture for the world or the land – specifically, the land of Israel – and the earth. In the Sermon on the Mount, Messiah was quoting Psalm 37:11: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth”. Eretz can mean both promised land and the whole world. As a believer, wherever you are in the world, you’re meant to be dwelling in the promised land. Anywhere in the world/eretz, you can dwell in the eretz/promised land. Anywhere you live can become a promised land for you. Wherever you live, live as if you’re in a land of promises. That’s the way to dwell in His perfect will, His blessings, His promises, and His goodness. It doesn’t matter where you are, it’s Who you’re with that makes any place in the world the Promised Land. It’s great to make a pilgrimage to Israel, but it’s even better to dwell in the Promised Land no matter where you live. Learn to dwell there all the time, because as a child of God, you’re given the blessing of dwelling in the land of promises.
From Message #974 – Dwell
Scripture: 1 Kings 8:56
TODAY’S MISSION – Whatever you go today, live as if you’re in the land of God, walking into His promises, and you will be!

Barachat Avote

Thursday, August 17, 2017
Scripture teaches us about the father’s blessing; Abraham blessing Isaac, Isaac blessing Jacob, and Jacob blessing his sons. In every generation, fathers are supposed to bless their children and children are supposed to receive the blessing. Adolf Hitler, who propelled the world into WWII and was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and millions of others, was raised by a father who treated him harshly, with rage and beatings. Not that his father was responsible for what he did, but it’s noteworthy that he never received his father’s blessing. It’s really important to receive your father’s blessing. Maybe you never did and your life has been affected by it. The good news is, if you’re born again, you now have a Heavenly Father who’ll never refuse to give His blessing to you, the child He loves. As a beloved child of God, you can now receive your Father’s blessing. Receive it, because it’s time to live as a beloved child. All you need to do to live a blessed life is get blessed. So get your blessing, because your Father is waiting to give it.
From Message #977 – Your Father’s Blessing
Scripture: Prov. 10:22
TODAY’S MISSION – Receive the blessing from your Heavenly Father today and become the beloved.

Seeing Things As They Are Not

Tuesday, August 15, 2017
Much of world history happened because of revolutionaries making a difference. There’s a trait that revolutionaries share. They never accept things as they are, or the status quo as the final story. They see it as temporary, something that’s going to change. They see their defeats as temporary setbacks and their dreams as if they’re already the final reality. Most believers tend to just accept the world, situations, and people as they are, resigning themselves to the darkness. God called you to be a light to the world, to make a difference, to be a true revolutionary. In order to do that, you need to see things in a revolutionary way. As God’s revolutionary, you can’t accept the world, or the status quo, as the final story. Your situation is only temporary. Darkness and sin is not the final story. Your failures are no longer failures, they’re now only setbacks. There ar e no more real problems in God, only challenges. No more hopeless defeats, only victories and triumphs waiting to happen. Put on revolutionary eyes, because it’s time to change the world. It’s time to live like a revolutionary.
From Message #973 – Revolutionary
Scripture: Ps. 33:4
TODAY’S MISSION – Put on revolutionary eyes today. Don’t accept things as they seem, but as God has willed them to be – your circumstances, your life, and even yourself.

The Tarrying Factor

Monday, August 14, 2017
Some people have formulas about how to receive the fullness and empowering of God’s Spirit, some have seminars on it. Messiah said, “Tarry in Jerusalem”. The word in Greek is kath-id’- zo. It means to stay, to continue. They had to continue in Jerusalem, in God’s will and presence. If they’d only stayed four days instead of ten, they’d have missed the blessing. If you want the fullness and power of His Spirit, you have to kath-id’ – zo. Stay, continue, and keep on in the will of God. Consistency in God is important. Many people give up before they get the blessing. The secret of receiving the blessing in God’s Spirit is linked to tarrying. They didn’t just go to Jerusalem and get the blessing, they had to stay there and persevere before they saw anything. The Spirit life is about continuing, abiding, perseverance, consistency, endurance, and continuing in His Word and wil l without giving up. Do you want to reap? Keep on keeping on, in the will and calling of God and He will come to you to fill your life with fullness and power from on high. You just continue.
From Message #972 – Welcoming the Spirit
Scripture: Luke 24:49
TODAY’S MISSION – Make it your aim to keep on in what is good. Don’t give up in the Lord, but press on no matter what.

The Mirrors Of God

Friday, August 11, 2017
I knew two great saints of God, Sabina and Richard Wurmbrand, leaders of the underground church in Romania. In Sabina’s last days, she was in great pain. Feeling overwhelmed, she asked the Lord, “How long?” He reminded her of how, as a young woman, she’d taken some jewelry to be worked on. The jeweler put her jewelry over a flame.Panicking, she’d cried, “You’re going to destroy it!” He turned up the fire and said, “Trust me, I know what I’m doing. I have to keep it on the fire until I can see my reflection on the metal. Then it’s finished.” She heard the Lord say, “Don’t panic, trust Me. I Am the Master Jeweler. You must go through the fire for a moment and when I can see My face reflected in you, it will be finished.” Soon after that, she peacefully went home to be with the Lord. When you go through trials, don’t fear. God’s purpose isn’t to hurt you, but to change you i nto the image of Messiah. God wants to see His reflection in you because you’re His jewel and He’s your Master Jeweler.
From Message #970 – The Way of the Great
Scripture: Rom. 12:12
TODAY’S MISSION – Are you going through a trial today? Allow God to purify you so that He can see His reflection in you.

The Always Right Direction

Thursday, August 10, 2017
What’s your direction? Do you have a direction or a goal? In any journey, it’s important to know your direction and stay on course. In life, sometimes we come up with our own directions— to school, our jobs, getting married, directions of self-improvement, or of making more money. What’s the direction the Bible says? It’s really simple— “make love your aim”. Love is to be your direction. When you have a direction, you aim everything there. Do you want to find God’s will for your life? It’s not necessarily what you might think it is, but pursuing His love is. Love the Lord with all of yourself, and your neighbor as yourself. You need to chart your course to one goal; the goal of love and that’s it. Heaven is a place of love, and you’re heading to heaven.rnSo go in the direction of love and aim away from that which isn’t love. Whatever it is, get away from it if it’s not lo ve. Set your compass and chart your journey to love. Don’t go north, south, east, or west. Simply go in love.
From Message #966 – The Heavenly Calling
Scripture: 1 John 4:9
TODAY’S MISSION – Make it your aim today to walk in love and away from whatever is not.

The Deadly Double Standard

Wednesday, August 9, 2017
Proverbs 16:11 speaks about double standards. In many hospitals, there are two doors. One door is prenatal care, where everything is devoted to the carrying of unborn babies. The doctors are devoted to making sure the unborn baby’s needs are met. Through the other door, there are no doctors devoted to ensuring the unborn baby is healthy. Beyond this door, the baby is not safe. The doctors, rooms, and machines are wholly devoted to the killing of the baby— abortion. It could be the same baby, if a mother changes her mind. It all depends on which door the mother enters. Through one door, the baby is protected, through the other door, the same baby becomes the victim of a killing. How can that same baby’s life be priceless in one door and worthless in the other? When there are two sets of weights and values, you have a double standard. Do not get used to the double standard in regards to life. Uphold God’s standard. Be a person for righteousness and life. No matter what changes in society, you hold to what is true.
From Message #965 – The Weights of the Bag
Scripture: Lev. 19:36
TODAY’S MISSION – Today, hold to what is righteous and speak up for what is true.
